"Is it happening?"
All of a sudden, the Mark of God lit up.
It had been around a week since we had found the rock elentals and I had been slowly injecting divine energy into the rock pillar. Over ti, it had reached the sa size that it had been in the past.
It reached the line on the ground that showed just how big the rock pillar had once been.
As expected, the gods really didn’t do anything halfway.
They only considered it over once the rock pillar had reached its original size.
It would have taken much longer than this to fill up the rock pillar, but there was sothing that changed in the middle of filling up this rock pillar.
As I was filling it up, it actually beca easier and easier to fill up the rock pillar.
It was as if there was sothing that was giving more power, or at least making things more efficient with how much easier it beca to fill it up.
I knew that I had learned a lot from this trial about how to use my creation attributed divine energy, but it really felt strange.
Was this trial just a way to teach how to use my powers?
When the Mark of God lit up, that was when I got my answer.
That was because the mont that this Mark of God beca stronger, I learned that there was sothing off about it.
After all, the Mark of God that had been strengthened had only increased the amount of divine energy that it released by a small amount. It really wasn’t enough for it to be considered a strengthened version of the Mark of God.
But there was a part of that did have hope that there was sothing different about this.
If this was it, then it really wouldn’t be considered worthy of a trial...
Which was why I started pulling out all kinds of things in hopes of seeing more from this Mark of God.
No matter what kind of thing I took out, there was nothing that really changed with this Mark of God. It seed like there was no new kind of power that ca from obtaining this new Mark of God.
The more that I thought about it, the more that it seed like this was so kind of special training mission that I had been sent on.
After all, the only real thing that I had gained from this trial was the domain that I now controlled.
But did the gods really do this just to make more proficient with the creation divine energy?
If that was the case, did that an that they were trying to go against the God of Creation?
Or was the God of Creation behind this, planning to use for so mysterious goal...
In the end, the rock elentals didn’t seem to give a chance to process all of this as the elder ca forward to say, "Thank you for helping us restore the source. Because of you, we will be able to remain safe for a long ti."
Then changing his tone, the elder said, "But we have learned that your world is still in danger and that is why we wish to help you. We once helped the gods fight against the forces of Destruction and now we will help you."
The mont that the elder said this, I couldn’t help narrowing my eyes to look at the elder.
Seeing the way that I looked at it, the elder revealed a confused look as if it didn’t know what was happening.
That wasn’t strange since it was offering to help , but I was looking at it with this doubt in my eyes. It would be strange if the elder had actually understood what I ant by this.
But in the end, I just couldn’t believe that the elder would volunteer all of a sudden like this.
The way that the elder had said these words, it was almost as if it was so kind of...
NPC.
The way that it said this was really as if there was sothing that was forcing them to volunteer.
After looking at the elder with this doubtful gaze for a bit, I suddenly said, "There’s no need to force yourself. We appreciate the sentint, but there’s no need for you to do this."
It wasn’t just the rock elentals that were caught off guard hearing this, Klein and the others were also caught off guard by my words. They all looked at as if they couldn’t believe what I was saying.
But even though they looked at like this, I had a calm look on my face as I stood by what I said.
In the end, the elder gave a cough before saying in a serious voice, "You don’t have to be humble. This is a matter that concerns the very safety of the world and we can’t just stay out of it."
"No, there’s no need for you to join us." I said in the sa firm voice.
The elder looked at with a very awkward look when it heard this.
"Your majesty, it isn’t as if it’s a bad thing for them to help us. We should be uniting as races of the continent, right?" Klein suddenly chid in from behind .
However, I just said, "But we don’t know anything about them. Even if they live on the continent, does that an that we should trust them without knowing more about them?"
There was no response after I said this, but I could see the way that they looked at .
They were all looking at as if I was going against the norm.
After all, I really wasn’t following the script at this mont.
Only I just couldn’t follow the script after everything that I realized.
This all felt like so kind of elaborate plot and it all seed too convenient...
