Signing-In: The Lazy Moon Goddess Chapter 443: Second Wave

The cultivators from the Heavenly Sects: Sword, Fla and dicine, had all united and sent two each of their Innateness realm elders per sect as representatives to lead in fighting against the Innateness Realm Beast in the second wave of beast riot. From the Heavenly Sword Sect, they only sent one elder and let Mo Jue fill the other role.

The prerequisite for this mission is to have Innateness Realm cultivation. After breaking through Innateness Realm the first ti in the Fantasy Forest, the sect cultivated him further and let him return to the Inheritance altar to train more. During his seclusion in the inheritance site, he once again broke through twice in minor realms and reached Peak Innateness realm.

Due to this breakthrough he was promoted from Inner disciple to core disciple of the three sword peak. His standing is only second to the current Direct Disciple of Peak Master Guan, Guan irei. Only those who are the direct disciple of an elder can follow the na of their master and be called with it. Like Sect Master Wan Yuyan’s direct disciple, Wan Yuren, so on and so forth.

The hierarchy in the Heavenly sect is simple. Outer disciple possessed Qi Refinent Realm. Only those at Peak Qi Refinent can be promoted to an Inner Disciple. There are exceptions in this rule and that is if one possessed a special physique or a dual spirit root talent and beca a nad disciple instead of a registered one.

Fu Lili is one, born with a sword physique to beco one of the best swordmaster in existence. Qi Shiru is another born with dual wind and ice spirit roots. That’s why despite their low realm they beco a nad disciple of Peak Master Guan Yueyi. Mo Jue is also the sa as them, born with the best spirit root and special physique. Unfortunately, despite all these talents he still fell short towards real geniuses like Tan Bingyu and Guan iren.

That’s why when he requested to co out with Fu Lili and join her to her mission, they agreed. As having Mo Jue there gave them a guarantee that the second wave of the beast riot will be blocked by them and still hold on if the three waves of beasts also co out.

The second beast wave had arrived. There are at most ten Innateness Realm beasts within the crowd while there are only eight from their side. With two from the Crimson Cloud Pavilion sent by Lin Chiru as representative of their faction.

With an extra two Innateness Realm Beast, the two spirit beasts that signed a contract with Mo Jue and Fu Lili beca the breakthrough for this second wave. Fu Lili didn’t join Mo Jue in eting the elders but in the end, she was pulled in with him inside the camp.

The elder from the Heavenly Sword Sect said, "You guys are finally here."

The two young people clasped their hands and slightly bowed their hands to greet the elders before them.

"Disciple Mo Jue from the Heavenly Sword Sect greets all of the elders."

"Disciple Fu Lili from the Heavenly Sword Sect greets all of the elders as well."

Only when the elders accepted their greetings did the two raise their heads to see the elders.

"You two take a seat." An elder from the other sect said.

"Daoist Mo Jue, we had found out the exact number of Innateness Realm beasts within these waves of monsters. There are ten exactly within the crowd. The problem is not about how to split it up and instead who the last two beasts would end up with."

The elder from the Heavenly Sword Sect asked, "Mo Jue, your spirit beast is in the sa realm as you?"

"Yes. Does the elder want to take on two with my spirit beast? It is not impossible, but how about the last one?" asked Mo Jue.

Mo Jue noticed the elder looking beside him. There is only one person that was brought here with him and that is none other than Fu Lili and his steel eating bear in her arms. This panda is a cunning spirit beast and quite smart as well. Moreover, it is also in the Innateness realm. In fact, this beast seems to be stronger than himself.

Fu Lili heard the conversation between Mo Jue and the elder as well the reason why they are looking at her. She was a bit shocked but looked at the cute panda in her arms. Do not be fooled by how cute this beast is. This is a Late Innateness Realm Beast even stronger than Mo Jue. Its shrunken appearance is quite deceiving but its power is no joke. After all, this is a unique beast that broke through to this level through eating treasures alone. Everyone from their peak spoiled this bear rotten.

The Elder looked at the owner of the panda and asked, "Fu Lili, do you think this bear can fight against an early Innateness Realm beast while protecting you?"

"Let ask it for a bit, Elder," said Fu Lili.

The scene of a lady and his cute panda talking about the compensation of helping him ended well. The scene looked surreal in the eyes of the other elder, after all, this scene is no different to a child playing with his small panda toy. The only difference is that this panda bear is a real spirit beast and is dangerously powerful.

After talking to her spirit beast, Fu Lili said, "It agreed. But it was asking for a reward."

"What kind of rewards does it want?"

"If it wanted to eat a few more immortal herbs then my Heavenly dicine Sect can provide it. As long as it helps up in this battle nothing else matters as of now."

Mo Jue said, "This guy eats almost anything. Please don’t promise it food or it would ask for a lot."

"Haha~ no worries. As long as we survive this calamity, I can give a small herb garden for it."

With that the plan for the second wave had been finalized. The elders were now all geared up and together with Mo Jue and Fu Lili, they all ca out to et the rest of the disciples. A gathering of cultivators from the Heavenly Sects were now getting ready for war. After all preparations are made, they all head towards the boundary of the defense formation around the city.

"Once we get out of this formation the war will continue. Don’t be careless and fight with safety in mind. As for the rest, you can do your best!"

"Yes, Elders!" The disciples all responded.

Following the elders, they all finally co out and all the disciples behind them have all died through the waves of the beast as they collectively swing their swords. The group of beasts at the forefront was instantly killed by this attack. However, more beasts had surged towards them like a sea. The elders flew on their swords and looked for their targets. Mo Jue and Fu Lili moved as one, their spirit beasts were temporarily hidden within their contract space.

While killing so beasts from the sky, they finally saw three Innateness realm beasts at the corner. These three were chosen to beco their target. The enemies chosen by Mo Jue and Fu Lili are beasts in gorilla form. One at Early Innateness Realm, two Mid Innateness realm.

Mo Jue talked to his beast and pointed at one of the Mid Innateness realm beasts while he said to Fu Lili’s beast. He pointed to the one with the weakest beast and said to the panda.

"That is your opponent. Kill it and you will be rewarded. Protect your master well." Mo Jue said to the panda bear.

Fu Lili said, "Shixiong, we will be alright. Please go ahead and do your mission."

Mo Jue hesitated only for a mont and nodded his head in agreent to Fu Lili’s words.

Fu Lili said, "Don’t worry about us. Please be careful, Shixiong. Don’t die please!"

"We will!" Mo Jue said as he rode on his hawk. It ordered it to fly towards those gorillas and put two away with him leaving the weakest one for Fu Lili and her beast to handle.

Seeing that Mo Jue had taken its leave and noticing the fierce gaze of the gorilla on her, the Panda was enraged. Fu Lili saw that the Innateness Realm Early stage gorilla was about to attack her, but she calmly just placed her beast down to the ground. As the gorilla jumps on her, a huge shadow appears below her. The cute small panda no longer exists at this mont. Only his huge bear with black and white pattern stood in front of Fu Lili and slapped the incoming gorilla.

ROAR~

THUD!

The Gorilla flew quite a bit. This exchange was enough to know how tough this panda bear is. Everyone was stunned by the scene of a bear slapping a gorilla and were dumbfounded.

"What the hell? How did that bear cub grow that much and did it just slap a gorilla flying!?" A disciple nearby comnted.
