The scorching celestial body hangs high in the sky.

The golden light emitted by the celestial body reflects in the dark clouds, painting the entire sky a shade of orange-yellow.

The hues in the sky, along with the occasionally drifting gray clouds.

An oppressive atmosphere looming ahead.

Illuminating the entire land as if apocalypse were descending, seemingly condemning the never-ending war in this region.

But when the sun rises in the early morning, its rays always manage to sneak through so gaps, casting down in the most natural color and temperature.

When these golden rays shine upon the towering high walls.

Built of gray-black stone bricks stacked into a wall over 20 ters high.

The wall is constructed relying on the cliffs on both sides.

This thod minimizes the cost of the wall while expanding the defensive area.

As a gentle breeze blew, the red and white flags on the wall fluttered vigorously.

As sunlight shone upon the wall, the soldiers patrolling and keeping watch on the wall reflected a cold sheen from their tal armor.

The entire wall is equipped with various defensive equipnt, including small catapults and large bed crossbows.

A middle-aged man, clad in heavier and more advanced red and white armor, stands solemnly on the high wall of the fortress.

His gaze kept searching far into the distance, unsure of what he’s looking at or perhaps contemplating seriously.

At that mont, noise arose from the stairs leading to the wall, and Kane’s figure appeared from the twist in the stairs.

A herald who brought Kane over, ran up to Captain Horn’s side and saluted.

"Captain Horn, Centurion Kane is here."

Upon hearing the herald’s words, Horn’s gaze finally returned from afar, then he turned his head to see Kane approaching him.

"Captain Kane, sorry for calling you over so early," Captain Horn nodded to Kane and said.

Kane walked over, standing next to Horn, waved his hand: "It’s not early anymore, enemies won’t sleep late, nor will they wait for us to be fully rested to attack."

"Hahaha." Hearing Kane’s words, Horn laughed heartily: "Captain Kane is right, the enemy wouldn’t care for us like that."

"Captain Horn, calling over so early must an sothing important is up."

Listening to Kane’s words, Horn nodded: "My sentinel has reported that the five camps near the fortress received news of the fortress falling last night.

They have been preparing soldiers overnight, and as we speak, they might have already set out."

They ca quite quickly.

"When might they arrive in front of the fortress?" Kane squinted, pondering.

"Based on the distance, they should arrive around dusk."

"Can they get their engineering equipnt ready in such a short ti?"

Kane’s question was quite valid, considering previously when they wanted to conquer this dungeon, Horn planned to prepare the engineering equipnt first before making the attack.

Upon hearing Kane’s question, Horn explained: "These five camps have been tasked with attacking this fortress for so ti; they prepared a significant amount of engineering equipnt, and now much is probably left, many can be repaired and used again, so they surely brought quite a lot of engineering equipnt."

After saying this, Horn thought for a mont and added: "Perhaps my sentinel will report the exact number of engineering equipnt before long."

After hearing Horn’s words, Kane nodded and continued to ask, "So the most critical question is, how much military force have they prepared to attack this fortress?"

"10,000," Horn held up a finger: "At least 10,000 soldiers, they likely won’t gather every soldier from their camps, but a majority should be possible.

Even if assuming half of the soldiers from each camp, combining the five camps totals up to 10,000 soldiers."

"So many?" Kane frowned.

These soldiers are sowhat too nurous, and just it’s at least 10,000, which ans likely more.

Currently, the fortress houses about 6,000 soldiers, including Kane’s forces.

Since Horn has a portion of soldiers dispersed throughout the camps they previously occupied.

Otherwise, if the Blue side sends out an elite squad to climb over two mountains and sneak in, secretly taking over those two camps, it would counteract the effort.

Thus, every camp must have at least 1,000 soldiers to ensure when other camps receive news, they dare to co for support.

Also, they didn’t gain much soldier rewards when occupying the fortress, roughly only 1,000, since the fortress is positioned at the overlapping points of camps on both sides, only considered a strategically important terrain.

This kind of terrain is present throughout the dungeon, and these strategic locations overlap with the camp areas, so occupying them won’t bring substantial troop reinforcents like camps.

But gaining so soldier rewards is certain, more importantly, these sites bring greater advantage to the war.

Kane frowned in contemplation for a while and then asked, "Although these five camps aren’t close, wouldn’t they each deploy at least half of their camp’s forces to attack us, right?"

Though unsure of Kane’s thoughts, Horn nodded to confirm his question.

"To attack us, they surely will first bring their camps’ Silver Power soldiers and keep those Copper Power recruits guarding the camps, this is almost a standard tactic for every camp, right?"

"Yes."

Not only the Blue side, even Horn’s side places so Copper Power recruits stationed at camps.

Because although these Copper Power soldiers are considered recruits.

Being inside this dungeon, their combat skills and combat awareness might not differ much from veterans.

After hearing Horn’s reply, Kane started forming a plan in his mind.

Taking away at least half of their camp’s force ans that the remaining force in each of the enemy’s 5 camps will definitely not exceed 2000 n.

Approximately between 2000 and 1000 n.

And they should all be Copper Power level soldiers.

Plus, as shown on the terrain map yesterday, the distance between these 5 camps is neither too far nor too close, just within a moderate range.

The plan, based on the intelligence obtained, began to take shape in Kane’s mind bit by bit.

After watching Kane think for a while, Horn said, "It seems Captain Kane seems to have a plan."

"Hmm."

Kane nodded and began to explain his plan: "With the soldiers currently in the camp and the help from Captain Horn, we can completely hold the fortress."

"And now is a rare opportunity, as the 5 camps closest to us pose the greatest threat and yet they are currently vulnerable."

"If the remaining mbers of my squad take their soldiers to attack them one by one, with their strength, all the camps can definitely be captured easily within one day and night."

Without delay, Kane directly pulled out a ready terrain map from his Space Equipnt and placed it on the wall.

He began to discuss with Horn.

Before the discussion, he didn’t forget to ask Yoyo beside him to plan out a route map according to his ideas.

Yoyo’s calculations were quite large, and based on the number of enemy troops provided by Horn and their general action direction, he could accurately calculate the possible routes the enemy might take to the fortress.

Then, through these routes, quickly choose a safe route to ensure Kane’s plan’s success.

"Right now, if my teammates and our team’s soldiers take this line, they can completely avoid all the soldiers they’ve brought and sneak into the camps behind them.

When they attack us, their rear camps will have already been captured one by one. When the ti is ripe, we will launch a front and rear attack, charging out of the fortress to annihilate them."

Horn listened intently to Kane’s orders and after a brief thought.

This plan is completely feasible, he thought.

He imdiately nodded in agreent with Kane’s plan.

"There’s no problem with this plan, I have no reason not to agree. Let’s do it this way."

Upon hearing Horn’s response, Kane nodded, then imdiately used the Ruby Lapel Pin to notify his teammates.

"Kreya, take Longbei and all our soldiers and attack the 5 camps behind the enemy, make sure to capture them all within the designated ti."

As Kane spoke, his words were transmitted into Kreya’s ear through the Ruby Lapel Pin.

After waiting for a while, a reply from Kreya ca through the Ruby Lapel Pin: "No problem, but what is the specific plan?"

"I’ve already sent Yoyo back; he will explain everything and guide you through the safe routes to reach the enemy’s camp."

"Okay, then there’s no problem."

"Let’s act now, ti is short."

Kreya ended the conversation with Kane and imdiately got up.

Longbei beside her also got up one after another.

They were always in the hall, able to hear the entire conversation between Kreya and Kane.

Not to ntion, these conversations happened in a public channel for everyone.

Kreya turned to Longbei and said, "You all heard what Kane said, right? Let’s imdiately go out and gather all the soldiers and start the operation once Yoyo arrives."

Once Kane’s team confirms a target, their actions beco extrely swift.

Kreya and Longbei directly went outside to start gathering soldiers.

anwhile, izike and Lilulu quickly went to see the logistic officers inside the fortress and bought a few days’ worth of logistics supplies.

Of course, these logistical supplies for the campaign aren’t free; they need to be redeed with battle rits and only beco free when dining in various camps or occupied territories.

After purchasing the supplies, Kreya and her team had already gathered the soldiers, ready to set out, and Yoyo had already returned.

Seeing Yoyo, Kreya directly picked him up from the ground.

Yoyo said directly, "Master asked to follow you all and guide you safely to the back of the enemy position."

"Then please, Yoyo," Kreya said with a smile.

"Hehe, leave it to Yoyo."

Kreya said to the soldiers behind her, "Let’s go."

If they wanted to move, of course, they had to leave from the gate where Kane currently was.

At that ti, Kane was on the city wall, waiting for Kreya and her team to arrive.

From a distance, he saw Kreya leading thousands of soldiers walking over from within the fortress.

Watching Kreya and her team, Kane waved and said, "Be safe and keep in touch."

"Don’t worry, leave it to us," Kreya said and gave Kane a thumbs up.

Watched Kreya and her team gradually disappear from view.

"Captain Kane has great faith in his comrades’ strength."

"Not comrades, but partners sharing life and death."

"Oh, sorry."
