Sean Ashton grinned and imdiately spoke up, "Got it! Boss, I’m driving over right away!"
Caden Lockwood was speechless, "What are you so happy about?"
"I’m happy for you, boss!" Sean said with a laugh, "When the misses sees you, she’ll definitely be just as happy!"
An approving glint flashed through Caden Lockwood’s eyes. He glanced at Evelyn Morgan, pulled out his phone, and called Julian Keaton.
"** Restaurant, I’m treating you to a al," Caden Lockwood said in a deep voice, "Be there in five minutes."
"No problem!" Julian Keaton replied cheerfully, "I’m nearby anyway! It’s rare for you to treat ! In a good mood? Sorted out your emotional issues?"
Caden Lockwood didn’t bother responding to Julian Keaton and simply hung up.
Before the car even reached Evelyn Morgan, Caden Lockwood saw Logan Shaw running towards her, and their faces lit up with radiant smiles when they t.
The atmosphere inside the car instantly plumted to freezing point, the air grew so oppressive that it was suffocating.
Sean Ashton turned his head stiffly, looking at Caden Lockwood. The smile that was on his face monts ago was now engulfed in darkness, his sharp black eyes glaring at Evelyn Morgan and Logan Shaw as though he wanted to devour them alive.
Sean Ashton shivered all over.
He deeply regretted it.
If he had known it would turn out like this, he would have driven away, pretending not to see the missus.
Now they’re dood. The boss saw the missus with another man, for sure he’s going to fly into a rage!
Evelyn Morgan didn’t notice Caden Lockwood’s car at all. After eting Logan Shaw, the two of them headed into the restaurant, found a seat, waiting for Cecilia Lynch together.
Caden Lockwood sat in the car, lifting his chin slightly, a very faint, cold curvature at the corner of his lips, sending shivers down the spine.

Julian Keaton arrived quickly, seeing Sean Ashton with a guilty face and Caden Lockwood looking cold and furious, he had a feeling this al wouldn’t be enjoyable.
"If there’s nothing, I’ll head off first. I just rembered I have another appointnt," Julian Keaton’s first thought was to escape.
"Stop." Caden Lockwood’s voice was cold, filled with strong oppression.
Julian Keaton sighed helplessly, asking Sean Ashton, "Who angered him?"
Sean Ashton shut his mouth tightly, not daring to make a sound.
"Could it be..."
Before Julian Keaton could finish, Caden Lockwood yelled, "Don’t ntion her na in front of !"
"So it’s her!" Julian Keaton sighed and shook his head, "That pesky little enchantress, truly an enchantress! But, she annoys you, why are you dragging into it?"
Caden Lockwood shot Julian Keaton a glance, got out of the car, and said coldly, "Co on, let’s go in and eat."
Julian Keaton shrugged. He clearly knew he should leave, but curiosity got the better of him, wanting to see what exactly was going on.
Besides, who in their right mind would provoke a raging beast?
Julian Keaton nodded to himself, thinking "beast" was quite an apt nickna for Caden Lockwood.
