Chapter 152: The Power of the Sealing Spell

Staring at the orange fireball-shaped elental creature that had suddenly appeared before him, Andrew, disregarding the curse on his body, summoned several more blue-white Ghost Fires.

While gathering the violent fire elental particles in the air, he began a full-scale elental clash.

"Ka—"

On the other side, Jero, whose attention was also focused on the Fla Guardian, was caught off guard when several thorn spikes, shimring with dark green tallic luster, burst from the ground beneath his feet.

Imdiately after, the vines grew wildly.

As thick as arms, they wrapped tightly around Jero’s legs with lightning speed. Combined with the Thorny Vines' stabbing, cracks began to form on the scales on Jero's legs.

"The defense of a bloodline-path apprentice really is hard to break through—"

Unlike Andrew, who had been flustered under the Fla Guardian’s attack, Jero—who had activated a bloodline power similar to that of a “lizard”—was indeed sowhat overwheld by the sudden ambush of the Thornflower Sprite. But so far, none of the sprite's Thorny Vines had pierced through his physical defenses.

"Crack-crack—"

Seeing this, the witchcraft in Janna’s hand activated once more.

Amid a dense sound of cracking, the pre-set witchcraft of Spore Parasitism was instantly triggered.

A large number of tiny sprouts grew rapidly all over the two n’s bodies.

The strong paralysis caused by the poison made Andrew—whose constitution was already inferior to that of a bloodline-path apprentice—cough up a mouthful of blood.

"Boom—"

Due to his rapidly deteriorating physical condition, Andrew could no longer maintain his casting.

When the blue-white Ghost Fire suddenly extinguished, the Fla Guardian, adept in combat techniques, imdiately opened its mouth and unleashed a powerful breath of fire, blasting a large hole through the already-weak Bone Shield.

"Damn it! Who the hell is this person? A Second Tier Apprentice with this many tricks!?"

Repeatedly hit, Andrew clenched his teeth and summoned another Bone Shield with all his might. Yet an overwhelming sense of powerlessness surged in his heart once again, making him feel the urge to retreat.

This was absurd!

Whether it was the opponent’s dazzling display of witchcraft or the intensity that rivaled that of a seasoned Third Tier Wizard Apprentice,

It all gave Andrew the absurd illusion of being toyed with like a mouse.

"The opponent must be an old Second Tier Apprentice who already has one foot in the threshold of a Third Tier Apprentice! Otherwise, there’s no way their witchcraft would be this powerful!"

Such persistent psychological suggestions were beginning to break through Andrew’s ntal defenses. Right now, he had only one goal... and that was: escape!

"Rumble—"

Just as Andrew was about to act on this thought of retreat, suddenly, water surged. A steady stream of water serpents rushed toward him again like a tidal wave.

These water-based witchcrafts from Maro Heigel weren’t life-threatening, but their endless harassnt was like the straw that broke the cal’s back.

Andrew, whose ntality was already on the verge of collapse, broke down completely.

"I’ll kill you—"

Andrew, burning with the desire to flay Maro Heigel alive, was enraged that he still couldn't find him due to the illusions. "Wait!"

Just as Andrew was about to be consud by rage, he suddenly caught a faint magical fluctuation.

"Finally found you!"

Though the magical fluctuation was extrely faint, Andrew’s mind suddenly beca crystal clear.

Ignoring everything else, his body was once again engulfed in blue-white flas.

Breaking free from the Fla Guardian, he charged toward a bush with a mad grin.

"So you were hiding here!"

The bush turned to ash.

Seeing Maro Heigel finally appear, Andrew felt even his rapid breathing caused by a serious lung infection had eased sowhat.

"You’re not getting away!"

Seeing Maro Heigel fleeing without even turning his head, Andrew—having finally found him—wasn’t about to let him escape.

His stout body, wrapped in flas like a cannonball, rushed toward Maro Heigel at the fastest speed he had ever mustered.

anwhile, Jero also reacted the mont he spotted Maro Heigel.

Breaking free from the thick vines, now fully transford into a “lizard”-like form, he leapt like a shadow in front of Maro Heigel, joining Andrew in a pincer attack.

"Kill!"

Consud by hatred, Andrew gave his opponent no chance to breathe.

Bone Spikes ford in an instant, cutting through the air in unison with Jero’s assault, all headed straight toward Maro Heigel.

"Clang clang clang—"

Accompanied by the sound of tal clashing, all the attacks landed on Maro Heigel, only to be blocked by a thin, cicada-wing-like erald shield.

"Impossible!?"

Seeing Maro Heigel completely unscathed beneath the shield, the two Blackbone Grove apprentices who had surrounded him suddenly had a realization and imdiately retreated.

But as they fled faster and faster, the scenery around them began to rapidly fade. Within re breaths, the endless marshland disappeared completely.

In its place was a boundless gray-white world. "This can’t be—"

Realizing what had happened, Andrew and Jero looked at each other in shock.

Then, they turned around to see a slender figure standing behind Maro Heigel, face completely hidden by a Wizard Hood.

An inexplicable sense of the surreal made them abandon any thought of continuing to flee—

This interdinsional space was real—a real interdinsional space!

"Who... are you?"

A mont of silence.

To Andrew’s trembling question, Janna gave no reply.

Instead, Maro Heigel, standing in front of her, served as the mouthpiece and loudly declared:

"Hand over the Naplate, or die here—"

"I surrender!"

Almost without thinking, Andrew—already ntally and physically exhausted—shouted the passcode.

And because Janna hadn’t fully sealed the Mirror Layer Domain, a spatial fluctuation followed. Andrew successfully escaped the Mirror Layer Domain and was expelled from the secret realm.

"You're the only one left—within three seconds, hand over the Naplate, or stay here forever—"

"I surrender too."

Before Maro Heigel even finished, Jero—having reverted to human form—sighed with frustration and likewise shouted the passcode, marking his defeat in this round.
