Chapter 151: Joint Encirclent

Although she had so suspicions in her heart, Janna, who had no interest in the matter between Maro Heigel and Blackbone Grove Academy, continued to secretly control the Hundred-Eyed Specter, constructing a Mirror Illusion to confuse the remaining two Blackbone Grove apprentices—

"Kuisha, put away your venomous bees, they’ve gone mad!"

Seeing the swarm of venomous bees suddenly lose control in the sky, the short and plump apprentice Andrew shouted angrily, having nearly been stung.

"Sothing’s wrong!"

Watching the bees on the verge of going berserk, the tall and thin apprentice beside him suddenly sensed that sothing was off.

"They're not mad—there’s simply no one controlling them!"

"La-la—la-la-la—"

Before the tall apprentice could finish speaking, an ethereal song echoed from all directions.

"This is bad! It’s an enemy attack! Quickly block your hearing!"

Feeling dizziness sweep through their minds, the two imdiately used magic to seal their hearing, attempting to resist the alluring sound of the Siren Chanting.

"Bzzzzz—"

At the mont the song struck, the leaderless swarm of venomous bees suddenly turned direction as if receiving an order, furiously charging toward the two Blackbone Grove apprentices.

"Zzzzz—"

As the bees retaliated, several clusters of blue-white Ghost Fire instantly ford a wall of fla, burning the venomous bees in the sky.

But as the bees burned, large clouds of yellow-green poisonous mist exploded from their bodies.

Every bush and leaf touched by the mist sizzled horrifically as though being corroded.

Realizing this, and deeply aware of the toxicity of the swarm, the Blackbone Grove apprentices imdiately retreated without hesitation, turning away.

"Whooosh—"

Water serpents lashed about, attacking everything in sight.

Facing the sudden Water-type Witchcraft, Andrew’s expression grew grim.

"Phff—"

A crimson tongue once again shot out from the tall apprentice’s mouth, like a sticky whip, continuously striking at the endless water serpent spells.

"There’s no escape—we’ll have to fight our way out!"

Hearing Andrew’s voice via sound transmission, the tall apprentice’s body tensed, dark green semicircular scales rapidly grew along his limbs, and a thick tail sprouted from his tailbone, thicker than his body.

"Bang!" With a furious flick of his tail, the mirror-ford female apprentice Kuisha was shattered by the tall apprentice, who then sprang in another direction without hesitation.

"Damn it! Jero, where are you going?!"

Seeing the tall apprentice nad Jero clearly had no intention of fighting together, Andrew clenched his teeth, imdiately chanting a spell.

A mass of blue-white flas quickly enveloped him.

Ah—just as both were about to flee in separate directions, a soul-piercing scream echoed like a hamr smashing into their very spirits, causing both of them to stiffen involuntarily for half a second.

And in that mont of pause, the howling water serpents coiled tightly around them, the heavy gravity from the serpents dragging them forcefully back to the ground.

"We must dispel the illusion first—otherwise, we’ll be toyed with!"

Just a mont ago, they had been the hunters. But in the blink of an eye, they beca the prey, falling into their enemies’ trap without even realizing it.

What was even more infuriating—so far, aside from Maro Heigel, they hadn’t even seen the other enemy.

Not only that, but Kuisha, who was extrely skilled at controlling puppets in combat, had been eliminated without their notice—just thinking of this made the two feel increasingly suffocated.

"No matter how strong an illusion is, magic power will run out eventually—under the effects of the ‘Secret Realm Curse’, I refuse to believe they can hold out for long!"

Prepared for a drawn-out battle, Andrew extinguished the Ghost Fire on his body.

At the sa ti, several Bone Shields made of white bone were swiftly summoned, surrounding him protectively.

Jero, the tall apprentice beside him, also covered his vital points with scales, wary of any surprise attack.

"They’re clearly planning a prolonged fight—should we launch a full assault now? Or continue wearing them down?"

At this mont, hiding behind the Mirror Illusion, Janna did not respond imdiately to Maro Heigel’s suggestion.

Instead, she quietly observed the two Blackbone Grove apprentices through the illusion, her expression calm.

"How confident are you if you were to face one of them head-on?"

Hearing this, Maro Heigel, eager to prove his worth, thought for a mont before answering:

"If it’s one-on-one, I have a sixty percent chance!"

Only sixty percent, huh...

Janna seed slightly disappointed at Maro Heigel’s answer.

For a White Witch Apprentice like Maro Heigel, who specialized solely in Water-type Witchcraft, having a sixty percent win rate against a Black Witch Apprentice did suggest so real capability—but it still wasn’t enough.

"Dragging this out will only waste our ti."

"So you’re saying—full assault?"

Janna shook her head.

Looking at the puzzled expression on Maro Heigel’s face, she once again wore an inscrutable smile.

"Have you ever heard of a Sealing Spell?"

Whoosh—an icy wind howled through the swamp, rustling the bushes.

As ti passed and the Secret Realm Curse continued to erode him, Andrew’s complexion worsened.

Even the Bone Shields around him began to waver.

"Jero, how many Rotfruit do you have left?"

Speaking with clear weakness, Andrew finally turned to the tall apprentice for help. But just as expected, their alliance was shallow—there was no trust between them.

Not to ntion, they were both Black Witch Apprentices who treated betrayal as naturally as eating or drinking.

So, Jero didn’t even spare Andrew a glance.

"If I die here, you won’t escape them either—"

"Two hundred Gold Surrel, and Maro Heigel’s Naplate goes to ."

"Deal!"

Hearing the outrageous demand, Andrew felt stifled, but had no choice but to agree if he wanted to survive the secret realm.

"Leave your wand with as collateral. I’ll return it after you pay once we’re out."

"Screw you!"

Swoosh swoosh—

Before Andrew could finish cursing, two orange fireballs streaked toward them amid blazing flas.

"Boom—"

The Bone Shield shattered, the scales turned charred black.

In just a mont, Andrew and Jero—who had great confidence in their defensive witchcraft—were blown away by the fireballs, both suffering varying degrees of burns.

"What kind of Elental Creature is this?!"
