Chapter 429: The Beauty of Nature
It was night. Other than the snow-covered ground, the resplendent aurora filled the sky, intertwining with the silver-white snow to form a magnificent painting.
In addition, the towering glaciers looked like blue gemstones set upon a silver-white gown. Under the reflection of the aurora, they appeared even more crystalline and transparent.

At this mont, Janna Roland, who had descended upon the 【Glacier Plane】 in her spirit form, found herself slightly entranced by the breathtaking view before her.
“No, this isn’t just an ordinary aurora!”
Just as Janna’s consciousness was sinking into it, her 【Sense of Danger】 warned her, snapping her spiritual awareness back to clarity.
“I command you by my will—Summon, Radiant Dream Butterfly.”
With a flash of dazzling light, as Janna chanted the summoning incantation, a beautiful butterfly radiating with multicolored brilliance appeared in the center of the Contract Array beneath her feet.
“Long ti no see, Master.”
As the glow dispersed, the soft voice of the Radiant Dream Butterfly—Artemis—sounded within Janna’s mind.
“Artemis, see if this plane holds the aura of the 【Law of Dreams】.”
Just like the 【Calamity Plane】 Janna had once encountered, the will of this 【Glacier Plane】, composed entirely of endless ice and snow, was cold and distant. It did not readily accept her request to communicate with her spiritual consciousness.
It was only after several attempts that the will of the 【Glacier Plane】 reluctantly conveyed so fragnted information to her.
As Janna had suspected, the 【Glacier Plane】 was a foreign plane dominated by ice-elental creatures, its governing laws revolving around 【Snow】, 【Low Temperature】, 【Frost】, and 【Glaciers】.
Aside from those, it also contained disaster-type laws such as 【Blizzards】 and 【Cold Waves】. From its level alone, this 【Glacier Plane】 should indeed belong to the sa tier as the 【Calamity Plane】.
However, beyond these known laws, Janna suspected traces of the 【Law of Dreams】 might also exist here.
“Master, according to my investigation, the 【Law of Dreams】 does not exist here—”
Hearing this, Janna’s brows furrowed slightly.
“But there are traces of the 【Law of Beauty】 within this plane.”
The 【Law of Beauty】…
Realizing her misjudgnt, Janna lifted her gaze once more, staring at the multicolored aurora illuminating the sky.
“If this isn’t the 【Law of Dreams】, then this aurora is truly real.”
When Janna had first descended in her spirit form upon the 【Glacier Plane】, her attention had imdiately been captured by the aurora above.
At the ti, when her 【Sense of Danger】 flared, she had mistaken this soul-enchanting aurora as nothing more than an illusion woven by the 【Law of Dreams】, crafted from her imagination of glaciers.
“This plane truly does contain the 【Law of Beauty】—however, the 【Law of Beauty】 is not a primary law of the 【Glacier Plane】.”
As she continued to watch the aurora, that sa sensation of her soul sinking into its brilliance washed over her again.
This ti, however, Janna did not resist it. Instead, she allowed her heart to truly rge with the splendor of the aurora—
“The 【Fragnt of the Law of Beauty】’s comprehension progress actually increased?”
After nearly an hour of watching, the mont the aurora faded away, Janna snapped out of her “imrsive” state.
Opening her Character Panel, she noticed that the 【Fragnt of the Law of Beauty】 under the 【Law Authority】 entry had advanced once more, rising from 6% to 7%.
“As expected, the 【Law of Beauty】, being conceptual in nature, progresses in a rather abstract way. Beyond emotional resonance born from true feelings, comprehension of the 【Beauty of Nature】 also increases one’s progress in comprehending this law.”
This explained why, even though the 【Law of Beauty】 was not part of the 【Glacier Plane】, she could still perceive its presence—because the aurora itself had woven a tapestry of 【Nature’s Beauty】.
“If the 【Law of Beauty】 can be advanced through experiencing the 【Beauty of Nature】, then perhaps creating sothing ‘beautiful’ might accelerate comprehension even further—”
The problem was, Janna had little talent in the arts. Whether opera composition, sculpture, or magic painting, she had no ans of creating sothing that would truly be deed “beautiful”—aside from herself.
Janna Roland, whether through the 【Beauty of Appearance】 under the influence of her 【Extraordinary Charm】, the 【Beauty of Voice】 enhanced by her 【Voice of the Heavens】 talent, or the 【Beauty of Performance】 born from her 【Muscle Control】 talent—she herself had already beco the very embodint of “Beauty.”
Thus, rather than struggling in artistic pursuits she was unfamiliar with, it was far better to hone herself into a living “artwork”—a breathtaking existence whose re presence would trigger tidal waves of emotion.

As the aurora fully disappeared, Janna slowly recovered from her comprehension and exhaled deeply, officially beginning her search for a Contract Creature.
“This plane has quite a number of native creatures.”
From the information shared by the will of the plane, she learned that while the 【Glacier Plane】 was ho to over a hundred kinds of ice-attribute creatures, only one possessed true extraordinary ability—the very target she had co to contract: the Frost Guardian.
Just like the Fla Guardian Enyard of the 【Fla Plane】, the 【Glacier Plane】 too had elental lifeforms devoid of any biological characteristics.
These elental creatures were classified into five tiers: Ice Sprites, Frost Guardians, Glacier Generals, Ice Lords, and Extre Frost Monarchs.
Among them, the Glacier Generals possessed strength comparable to a First-Tier Wizard. With Janna currently only a Third-Tier Wizard Apprentice, the strongest contract she could attempt was with the Frost Guardian.
“As an elental lifeform with a strong sense of territory, the Frost Guardians, whose power ranks only in the second tier, should dwell near the outer regions.”
With ample ti at her disposal, Janna transford into her low-cost Butterfly Wing Form and began flying toward the outskirts of the 【Glacier Plane】.
