Eira’s POV

Once everything was settled, Kael asked , "You want to talk to them?"

I nodded. It couldn’t be avoided forever, and there was no reason to avoid it.

I should be glad that I finally found my family, parents, siblings, which I always dreamt of having. But, it didn’t co as the greatest happiness of my life. It felt like just any other normal revelation of my life among so many I already had.

Maybe, I had faced too much in life, and also because I was content with my current life with my mates and child.

"I will leave you to it," he said, and moved away from the bed to give alone ti.

Kael extended his hand to Raven, who was still by my side, now entirely calm. "Raven, let’s go out for a while. Mommy need so alone ti."

Raven obediently stepped down the bed to leave.

I looked at my other four, who seed to have known about the truth even before just like Kael did. They offered small smiles of encouragent and followed Kael out.

Now only , my newly found parents and sibling were left in the room.

Luna Iris offered a gentle, yet hesitant smile as she walked to sit at the edge of the bed, while the other two watched her silently.

I could understand what she must be feeling, an utter guilt of not being able to protect her child that overpowered the happiness she was feeling at finding her child.

I was the sa when I understood Raven was my son. I was happy, but the guilt of how I failed him and how he suffered was always at the top, which kept at bay from acting like his mother and exerting my rights over him right away. I had to give him ti to accept , and ti to myself to get over that guilt, not entirely, but at least so it wouldn’t co in the way of my motherhood.

I couldn’t imagine the pain if Raven ever told he hated for not protecting him. That would be a real hell for .

The sa situation was here with Luna Iris.

I decided, there was no need to be overly dramatic and hurt over the past, while we could just accept it with peace. Maybe, falling unconscious and letting my brain rest, now I could think more rationally rather than driver by emotions.

Luan Iris looked at a loss for words, or struggled with what to say.

"Are you truly alright?" she asked. "I didn’t an to shock you with anything? I...was just...."

"I am alright, don’t worry," I assured her calmly. "That indeed ca out as a shock, but nothing that I didn’t like."

She let out a small relieved hum, and there was silence.

"So, you are my mother?" I said, and looked at Alpha Gerald and Evan. "Father and brother."

They all offered nods.

"I truly had a family," I mumbled, looking back at Luna Iris. "I am not an orphan."

She nodded, her eyes moist. "It’s our fault for letting you ever live like that. It’s all our fault."

"As parents, we can only bla ourselves," I said. "But I think now everything is fine. We can move on with our current lives."

Her gaze turned wary. "Does that an you won’t be accepting us as your parents?...I an I understand if you...."

"I do not an it that way," I assured her. "I was talking about not crying over the past. I am happy in my current life, so I bla no one for anything. You know I have suffered the loss of a child as well, so I can understand your pain, Luna Iris."

I couldn’t bring myself to call her mother just so soon. It was too much, though I had nothing against her.

Gosh! Now I can understand Raven’s situation as well.

She didn’t correct either, maybe willing to give ti, just like I did for Raven. But, I was yet to hear him call mother.

Alpha Gerald and Evan finally approached us, giving us our ti. Alpha Gerald stood by his mate’s side, his hand over her shoulder to comfort her, while his gaze was on .

"We know, now you are soone’s mate and you have your family," he said, thankfully not going into the part where he would apologize for not protecting his child. There was no need.

"But, do know that you have another family, your parents and a brother," he added. "You can always co to us for anything you need. And if you ever feel like you want to be here with us, consider this has always been your ho, waiting for your return for many years. Everything we have, it’s yours as well."

Now that was better, comforting to hear. What exactly a father should say to their child. I wasn’t any no na, nobody, shewolf.

"I will keep that in mind," I said. "Thank you, Alpha Gerald."

His gaze wavered for a mont when he heard still calling him by his title, but he steadied himself quickly.

I liked the fact that they were not imposing themselves on , and I felt like I could breathe.

I looked at Evan, who offered a smile. "Good to find my sister, finally. Welco ho."

This brought a smile to my lips. "Thank you, Evan."

I felt connected to him already. Maybe because he was younger than , and I felt at ease with him like an elder sister.

Even before I knew he was my brother, during our conversation before, I already got that younger brother feeling from him. Thankfully, it turned out to be real.

Now the air around us felt a little lighter. I asked, "So, my na’s Eva?"

Luna Iris nodded, a tinge of delight in her eyes. "I chose it myself." Her voice trembled a little. "Your brother has a na similar to yours."

Evan.

I understood the reason. She wanted to keep sothing of constantly reminding her, even if it ant having a similar na for her other child.

"But, I am called Eira now. My mates use that na as well," I said.

"Nas are just the emotions we call the person with. Your current na is fine as well," she said. "But would you mind if I call you by the na I had given you?"

I offered her a light smile. "Just as you said, nas are just the emotions we call the person with."

"Thank you...Eva," she said, her eyes turning moist. "I had been waiting to say this na, waiting to call my daughter by it."

"The wait is over, it seems," I said.

Her trembling lips curved into a light smile as she nodded, her eyes finally showing the happiness in them which she couldn’t hide anymore.

"Would you mind, if I hug you?" she asked.

I shook my head, a light smile on my lips. "I don’t."

How I longer to hug Raven and now I could, all I wanted was to squeeze him in my arms, until I feel every bit of his existence.

She leaned forward and we hugged.

It felt oddly comforting to hug a woman who had given a birth, the reason of my existance. Maybe there was truly sothing different about a mother’s embrace.

I let that feeling sink in .
