At first glance, this card seems overwhelmingly intimidating.
The long card face has a total of 7 entries.
But if you look closely, it’s actually not that bad.
Strictly speaking, it should be 6 entries.
Because while the [Double-Stranded Sword] increases the number of entry slots by 2, it occupies one of those slots itself.
But still, this card is strong.
And it’s purely nurical strength, not involving any tricks; it’s that kind of strong.
The newly added entry [Gathering Talent], is definitely a unique and top-notch entry.
Just by having it in the card deck, the score cap increases by 10.
Ree Shil, who has played many card gas in the buffer zone, is well aware of what having 10 more points than the opponent ans.
In so gas, he has won against Divine Deities using these 10 points, which are crucial.
Then there’s [Majestic Emperor], which is simply a tag-based increase to attack strength.
For comparison, [Dragon Flag Master] also has a tag-based increase to attack but only by 5 points.
This shows you what a 10-point boost from [Liu Bei] can an.
However, the Shu general card is a very niche tag, and Ree Shil thinks it’s unlikely that he will expand his card deck in this direction in the future.
But a 10-point Attack boost, not to ntion anything else, would be absolutely delightful for Zack Yellow.

There haven’t been major changes in the S-rank version of [Guan Yu].
It’s just transford from a 40-point 40-attack card to a 50-point 50-attack one, with just one more entry added.

But these two changes alone have multiplied its combat power several tis over.
Why is that?
Because previously, [Guan Yu] had an additional attack against [Defense].
Attacking a [Defense] target gave him an extra 40 attack power, which essentially nullified [Defense] damage reduction, causing the damage to still be 40.
Now, with the base of that [Defense] specialized attack, ignore [Defense] has been added.
What does that an?
It ant that previously, a 40 attack against a [Defense] target turned into an 80 attack, ultimately causing 40 damage.
Now, it’s a 40 attack against [Defense] that turns into 80 attack but ultimately causes 80 damage.
And then the base attack power is raised.
So it becos a 50 attack against [Defense] that turns into 100 attack, ultimately dealing 100 damage.
Exactly 100 points, enough to instant-kill a normal 100-health card.
If the card has 10 points of damage reduction or an additional bonus to Health Points, it might not be killed instantly.
But a 10-point damage reduction, in front of [Warm Alcohol] or [Riding Solo], is equally futile.
So, facing S-rank [Guan Yu], [Defense] is akin to seeking death.
It’s better not to [Defend], and the damage taken would be much less.
However, card gas are never about 1v1 battles. If you don’t [Defend], you’re likely to get focused and eliminated quickly by the opponent.
In this aspect, [Guan Yu] has a significant tactical value.
And it has a pretty good synergy with [Fear].
After all, [Fear] is just like telling you explicitly which card will [Defend] next turn.
And this [Fear] effect also happens to be Zhang Fei’s forte.

The changes to this card are not significant.
