Upon hearing this,

Whether it was the casino staff or the old gamblers who’d been around for years, they all secretly chuckled in their hearts.

Before any gamble begins, everyone imagines the goddess of victory standing at their side.

After all, when they had first stepped into the world of gambling, they were just as confident as Orin, even winning several rounds in a row at the start.

After experiencing how easy, thrilling, and profitable it seed, the idea of working a regular job to earn money felt utterly dull.

Even knowing that nine out of ten gamblers lose, they still chose to believe they were the lucky one in ten.

To them, Orin was just another greenhorn.

Even if he looked wealthy, they were confident he’d lose everything before long.

As his opponent sat down at the table, the first ga began.

Each side was dealt five cards. Without thinking, Orin casually flipped over one of his.

Six.

As expected, to bait the new fat sheep, the opponent decisively revealed a four.

100,000 Belly → 200,000 Belly.

"Congratulations, sir. Looks like your luck is really sothing today."

A voluptuous, seductive waitress praised him from the side. Her enticing body swayed as she leaned in with a forkful of fruit and fed it to Orin.

Clearly, this was ant to help him get even more hooked.

Orin grinned widely.

"Yeah, I’ve always been lucky."

With a wave of his hand, a bundle of Belly appeared, seemingly worth tens of millions. Laughing heartily, he stuffed it straight into the waitress’s cleavage.

Seeing how generously he tipped, the waitress was delighted and doubled down on her flattery.

Perhaps shocked by Orin’s extravagance, the casino manager crossed his hands behind his back, a sly smile curling on his lips as he whispered to his subordinate:

"Set him up at one of the high-roller tables. Give him a few sweet wins and reel him in for good!"

As the subordinate nodded and left, the manager wore a sinister grin.

Once he’s deep in debt, who cares if he’s a tycoon or a noble!

Soon, Orin’s cheerful voice rang out again:

"Hurry it up! I had soone read my fortune—today my luck’s off the charts!"

"The kind of luck where I can’t possibly lose!"

"Right away, sir. We’ll get your next ga started imdiately."

Go ahead and laugh. In a bit, you’ll be crying your eyes out!

The next few gas played out much the sa way as the first. Sotis it was 8 to 1, other tis 5 to 4.

No matter the margin, Orin kept winning.

Starting from just 100,000 Belly, in no ti it ballooned into 496 million Belly!

An astronomical sum!

Seeing Orin’s apparent wealth, the casino manager had taken the risk to set up this elaborate trap—piling on the tension with multiple rounds of build-up.

The next ga, with its double-leverage stakes, would be the killing blow.

If Orin lost, not only would he have to return all his previous winnings—

He’d also owe over 400 million Belly out of pocket.

With the prearranged cards already in place, both players were dealt five cards.

The man across from Orin, who looked like a seasoned boss, confidently flipped over the second card from his right:

J!!!

11 points!!!

The onlookers watching the ga all held their breath.

They loved watching people lose, but what they loved even more was a coback from the brink of defeat.

As the saying goes—

If there’s only one bullet in a ga of Russian roulette, everyone wants to see you die.

But if there are five bullets, everyone wants to see you live.

Orin, seeing the scene before him, didn’t share the crowd’s nervous energy. Calm and unhurried, a crimson light flickered across the lenses of his sunglasses.

"Your future holds no chance of winning."

Then,

Orin extended his hand and slowly lifted the card in the center.

K!!!

13 points!!!

The highest card just below the jokers!!!

"No way!?!?"

"We only put in one big card in case the audience asked to inspect the deck—and we hid it in the least likely spot psychologically. And he still picked it!?"

A bead of cold sweat slid down the manager’s forehead as his eye twitched uncontrollably.

496 million Belly—quadrupled!

Over 1.6 billion!?!?

If they had to pay that out, even selling his whole family wouldn’t cover it!!!

Just as he gritted his teeth, ready to order his n to seal off the room and force Orin to keep gambling, the sound of leather heels suddenly echoed from the upper floor.

What the hell?!

The manager trembled and tried to speak: "Boss, please give a chance—"

"Shut up."

A gentle wind of sand drifted down from above, coalescing into a swirling vortex in front of the manager.

It was a woman—full of dominance and authority!

A cigar clenched in her mouth, radiating the aura of a natural-born boss. A scar ran across her face, not diminishing her beauty but amplifying her presence.

Her smooth black hair flowed down her back. Over a black skirt, she wore a sweeping black coat.

She opened her mouth with frustration and fury:

"You can’t even tell when soone’s playing you? How much more are you planning to lose?"

"I..."

The manager tried to explain, but the mont he t Crocodile’s gaze, he instantly fell silent.

Without sparing her useless subordinate another glance, Crocodile’s sultry figure stepped forward, standing before Orin.

Her face was stern, a dark shadow cast over it.

"How about doing a favor? Just take your winnings and leave. I, Crocodile, swear—there will be no grudges, and you won’t be troubled again."

Everyone around had assud that the boss of this pirate casino—this legendary woman—had co over to use force.

But to their utter shock...

She caved?

"Huh? Are you actually kicking out a custor? Or is it that you can’t afford to pay?"

Orin hadn’t co just to win a asly 1.6 billion Belly in pocket change. Hearing Crocodile’s words, of course he wouldn’t just walk away.

I’m not here for money.

There’s only one thing I ca for...

Hearing this, Crocodile’s face darkened slightly,

She was furious, but she was no longer the brash, naïve youth she once was.

After clashing with Whitebeard, she finally understood just how insane the top monsters of this world truly were.

And with her intellect, she had already deduced this man’s true identity.

Sure, she could fight him—

But she definitely couldn’t win.

Now, all she wanted was to switch back to her male form, find the legendary Ancient Weapon, and build a nation of her own—safe, secure, and beyond the reach of any force.

So she chose restraint.

But that didn’t an she had no way to retaliate.

"Fine, since you want to play—then I’ll play with you. The infamous pirate, the King of a Generation—Black Gun Orin..."
