The white-haired blind girl paused montarily, clearly not expecting such a response from him.
But she quickly locked onto Jiang Si.
Not with her eyes—this girl was a blind person with her eyes closed, but rather, she locked onto him with her perception.

Jiang Si instantly bent low, half of his foot pressed into the ground, like a leopard on the verge of pouncing, emanating visible explosive power.
At the mont the leaf touched the ground!
"What are you two doing outside the Sect?"
Bingtang showed up from who knows where and casually took the handgun from the white-haired girl, "How many tis have I told you, don’t play with water guns, don’t buy water guns. And you bought one again, Bai i! How much did you spend?"
A bit angry, he pulled the trigger on Bai i, spraying water all over the white-haired girl’s face.

And at that ti, if Bai i hadn’t encountered them, she probably wouldn’t have survived a few more days.
Back then, Cyan Cloud Sect didn’t have other magical girls, and occurrences of Disaster Beasts were rare, so they let Bai i stay in the Sect temporarily.
Though she looked pitiful, Cyan Cloud Sect wasn’t a welfare agency, nor did the two have the ability to care for a severely sick child.
After Bingtang had the private doctor treat her, they intended for her to stay a bit, and once she was better, send her to a welfare ho.
But on the day they’d arranged a suitable welfare ho and planned to send her away, Bai i secretly ran off.
With a wooden stick, she went to challenge a Disaster Beast.
Back when Cyan Cloud Sect was just founded, Jiang Si was very keen on telling stories of imaginary seniors and Immortals to explain the origin and rationality of Cyan Cloud Sect to Bingtang.
