Deep into the night.
On the outskirts of Yong’an Island town, there was a hidden smuggling point.
Li Chengjun stood alone on the sandy beach, gazing into the dark, empty sea.
Suddenly, a black dot appeared in the distance.
Dudu dudu dudu dudu————
The piercing sound of a diesel engine cut through the night sky, skimd over the sea surface, and reached his ears first.
Monts later, a fishing boat with several individuals dressed in waterproofs breached the waves and approached.
On the deck, a man with a buzz cut stood out prominently, standing with his hands clasped behind his back, his body straight as a javelin.
Upon seeing this, Li Chengjun’s mouth curled into a slight smile:
"Luo Lie, you’ve finally arrived..."
The fishing boat slowly neared the shallow water area, about thirty ters or so from the shore.
The buzz cut man did not wait patiently for the gangplank to be lowered to disembark.
He suddenly took a step forward, stepped over the gunwale without falling into the water.
Instead, as if by magic, he was suddenly floating in mid-air.
Then his body soared through the air, directly gliding over the thirty ters of sea.
With a "bang",
he landed heavily on the beach, kicking up a large swathe of wet sand.
Li Chengjun raised his hand and made a light swiping motion.
The sand that was flying towards him was swept away by a gust of wind in an instant.
The buzz cut man had already risen to his feet by this ti, looking intently at him:
"Chengjun, long ti no see."
Li Chengjun responded with a smile, warmly greeting him:
"Big Brother, you are one day late."
The two stood on the deserted beach, catching up with each other.
Luo Lie briefly explained the reason for his delay:
"The routes to Yong’an Island were blocked, I had to find a familiar smuggling organization, evade the mariti police search, and only then did I manage to get here..."
Li Chengjun cast a glance at the dozen or so combatants coming ashore on the small plank and asked:
"Is that all the people you brought with you?"
"The rest couldn’t make it, don’t worry, I alone am more than sufficient."
Luo Lie answered casually, and then went straight to the point.
"I’m here to deal with those old fellas from the True Thought Society, can you handle the rest?"
Upon hearing this, Li Chengjun imdiately nodded:
"Personnel, boats, weapons, everything is ready. Big Brother, rest assured, I’ve been here for more than half a year, and it wasn’t spent idly touring the mountains and waters."
Despite his usual ruthlessness and malice, standing before the "sworn brother" who had co from headquarters, he behaved obediently and attentively like a faithful underling.
"Good."
Luo Lie patted Li Chengjun’s shoulder satisfactorily, encouraging him:
"After completing this mission, I will propose to the board to promote you as the head of the departnt."
Then he lowered his voice and sternly cautioned:
"Rember, my identity must not be known to those guys at the base, otherwise..."
With a fierce gleam in his eye, he made a throat-slitting gesture.
Li Chengjun hurriedly nodded in agreent.
Yet, in his heart, he sneered, aware that his "sworn brother" rely wanted to monopolize the Saint Relic.
But he would never know what my true intentions were.
"What an opportunity that cos once every two hundred years..."
As he walked alongside Luo Lie, Li Chengjun couldn’t help but look back at the pitch-black sea, murmuring to himself:
"With those things in hand, I can definitely create an entirely new Saint Relic on my own."
"When the ti cos, it will be your turn to call Big Brother!"
..................
The night and thick fog gradually receded.
Brilliant sunshine did not arrive as expected.
Today, Yong’an Island was covered in dense clouds, seemingly about to rain.
The training camp base, however, was unusually noisy early this morning.
Several buses honked their horns and stopped in front of the building to pick up and drop off tourists.
Because last night, Yong’an Island’s official notification was received, and the town had resud normal accommodations.
Thus, hundreds of tourists no longer needed to cram into this old apartnt building.
Speaking of which, many people were actually sowhat reluctant to leave.
If it weren’t for the sowhat inferior dining and lodging conditions, staying a few more days would not have been unacceptable.
At the very least, the environnt here was good, the air fresh, and every night one could sleep especially soundly.
Amidst the clamor, Fang Cheng too carried two bags and gathered in front of the building with his tour group.
Following the tour guide’s arrangents, they prepared to relocate to an affordable hotel in the town.
As for Lin Chuqiao.
After coming over last night specifically to speak about the prophecy, she took her and Pan Wendi’s luggage and returned to the town overnight.
Fang Cheng himself had hesitated, wondering whether to continue staying here.
But before he could even go out for his morning exercise, he received this eviction notice.
So he hastily packed up his drying clothes and organized his luggage.
Fortunately, he didn’t miss a hearty breakfast because of this.
Of course, not everyone had to leave the training camp base today.
Many who perford exceptionally well in ditation classes were promoted to the "Advanced Study Class" by their instructors.
They were said to possess extraordinary spirituality and talent, which qualified them to stay and study long-term like the old students, becoming official students.
What’s strange is, none of these individuals seed to decline; they all volunteered to stay.
There were two people from Fang Cheng’s tour group who had the good fortune to beco official students, undergoing significant changes in their deanor and barely recognizable from when they first arrived.
The others, without this honor, had to end their ditation journey ahead of schedule.
The tour guide personally assured that after returning to East Capital, the travel agency would provide appropriate refunds.
Fang Cheng’s gaze swept over the official students in their clean, white clothing and thought to himself:
"Things seem to be getting more and more serious..."
Shaking his head, he slung the shoulder bag over his back, lifted his travel bag, and boarded the bus.
"Anyway, this matter has nothing to do with ."
..................
Yong’an Island town.
After checking into the hotel and settling in.
Fang Cheng did not seek out Lin Chuqiao and Pan Wendi but strolled along the coastal street.
The waves gently lapped at the coastal embanknt, and the wind blew a salty dampness onto his face.
As far as the eye could see, Fang Cheng noticed several boats crisscrossing the sea and many people gathering on the beach.
Tomorrow is the Sea Festival.
Despite the weather not being very good, the local fishern were all busy preparing various celebration activities.
Many tourists ca out to tour and visit or to frolic by the seaside.
Under such circumstances, swimming in the sea inevitably seed sowhat overcrowded.
Fang Cheng withdrew his gaze and saw street vendors setting up stalls, selling various swimming gear.
After so thought, he purchased a snorkel mask that looked like a pig’s snout, complete with goggles.
Since the ferry line was suspended, he could not return to East Capital for the ti being.
Fang Cheng could only stay here, calmly continue his practice, and train himself.
The whispers of the waves occasionally reached his ears; he gazed pensively at the deep sea under the dark clouds.
Sunlight spilled through the gaps in the heavy clouds in shafts, illuminating the sea surface as if it were a magnificent painting.
The boundary between sky and sea seed to blur at this mont.
Fang Cheng suddenly felt a tranquil yet surging strength within him.
Then he put on the snorkel mask and stepped toward the seaside.
If destiny wills it.
"Then let make the final breakthrough under these conditions where the alignnt of ti, location, and harmony cos together!"
