One released dozens upon dozens of fiery orange rune bullets.
The other ford multiple glowing weapons made entirely from runic mana and launched them toward Si.
anwhile, Lia gritted her teeth from the pain while the hidden healing rune behind her slowly regenerated the wound.
She looked up toward Si standing before her.
Si slowly pulled her hand back while staring at Lia curiously.
"How are you still—"
Before she could finish, Selene’s attacks arrived.
The fiery runes slamd against the invisible pressure barrier and exploded harmlessly.
Most of the rune weapons shattered too—
But one glowing sword managed to slip through at the exact instant the barrier weakened slightly.
Shnk.
A small cut appeared near Si’s hand.
Lia noticed it imdiately.
Si looked down at the blood.
Then slowly turned toward Selene.
Her four eyes twitched with rage.
"You humans..."
"...still do not understand."
She waved her hand violently.
Dozens of shimring pressure slashes instantly shot toward Selene.
Selene’s eyes widened in panic.
Imdiately, multiple shield runes ford around her body.
Boom. Boom. Boom.
The invisible slashes tore through shield after shield, destroying the runes one after another.
And just as the remaining slashes were about to hit Selene—
Lia appeared.
She had already retreated from Si while Si targeted Selene.

Lia grabbed Selene and threw both of them away from the attack path.
The remaining pressure slashes continued forward and completely destroyed part of the castle wall behind them, revealing the outside sky.
Si was finally furious now.
"These inferior humans...!"
"Why do you keep interfering?!"

Lia slowly helped Selene stand.

Selene imdiately understood.

Behind broken debris, Drevin silently listened while gripping the dark-blue poison arrow tighter.
Then he nodded slightly to himself.
Selene then looked at Lia.
"To make her use more attacks..."
"You’ll need to provoke her."
A small smirk appeared on Lia’s face.
"That..."
"I can do."
Then she raised her voice toward Si.
"Hey, Abyssal!"
"Is this all you have now?"
"Your invisible-cut gimmick is already figured out!"
"We’re going to defeat you soon!"
Her eyes narrowed mockingly.
"Looks like you possessed the wrong body."
Si froze.
Then rage exploded across her face.
"You little inferior humans!!!"
Hundreds of shimring slashes erupted toward Lia all at once.
Lia imdiately started dodging and blocking desperately, but the number of attacks was overwhelming.
Cuts rapidly began appearing all over her body again.
But Si still wasn’t done.
Around her, multiple compressed air spheres rapidly ford.
Dense.
Shimring.
Violent.
"Take this."
The pressure spheres shot toward Lia at high speed.
Lia dodged the first several—
But one sphere slamd into a wall and bounced back from an unexpected angle.

It hit Lia’s left arm directly.
Unlike the slashes, the sphere didn’t cut her—
Instead, terrifying concussive force exploded into her body.
Crack.
Lia instantly felt the bones in her arm break.
Before she could recover—
Another pressure sphere hit her from the front.
Then another.
And another.
The compressed air projectiles ricocheted unpredictably throughout the battlefield, striking Lia repeatedly from every direction.
Bones cracked throughout her body.
Pain surged through her nerves endlessly.
And across from her—
Si smiled.
The suffering made her feel good inside.
Si suddenly flashed forward.
Lia was still struggling against the compressed air spheres bouncing chaotically around the battlefield when Si waved her hand and redirected several of them toward Selene instead.
Lia’s eyes widened instantly.
"Selene—!"
Si smiled viciously.
"Did you really think..."
"I couldn’t hear your little plan?"
In the distance, Selene’s eyes widened as the compressed air spheres rapidly approached her. She imdiately started using shield runes to defend herself while trying to avoid the unpredictable impacts.
At the sa ti—
Si grabbed Lia by the neck.
Boom.
She slamd Lia violently into the ground.
Cracks spread across the ruined floor.
Si leaned over her while all four eyes trembled with dark excitent.
"I will kill you..."
"But first..."
"I will enjoy all the pleasure this body feels from torturing you."
Then she started punching Lia repeatedly.
Boom.
Boom.
Boom.
Each punch carried compressed air pressure around the fist, causing cuts to appear alongside the blunt impacts.
Lia’s face rapidly beca bloody and swollen.
Si continued rcilessly.
"How about now, girl?"
"What were you saying earlier?"
"You figured my technique out?"

"You were going to defeat ?"

"I chose the wrong body?"

"This body was superior to yours the mont I entered it!"

Another punch slamd into Lia’s face hard enough to distort it.
Blood covered the floor beneath her.
"That extre wind elent..."
"It was wasted on you..."
Then suddenly—
Si’s voice distorted strangely.
"You understand, gir—Lia!!@"
Her expression twisted unnaturally.
"I am better!!!!"
anwhile, Lia’s face had beco almost disfigured from the beating despite the healing rune desperately repairing the damage little by little.
Still—
From her broken lips—
Only one word ca out.
"...Sis...ter..."
Si froze.
Sothing strange tightened painfully inside her chest.
Then—
A droplet landed on Lia’s face.
Si frowned slightly in confusion.
"...Water?"
Instinctively, she touched her own face.
And realized—
They were tears.
The upper pair of eyes on her face were crying.
Si stared blankly at the tears on her fingers.
"What...?"
Lia’s face slowly regenerated again under the healing rune while she weakly looked toward Si.
"...Sis..."
Imdiately, Si instinctively backed away from her.
Her expression beca unstable.
"What is this...?"
"Why do I feel strange looking at you...?"
"This body hates you..."
"But also..."
"...adores you?"
Before she could understand what she was feeling—
Shnk.
A dark-blue smoking arrow pierced through her back.
The arrow tore out through her chest and embedded directly near her heart.
Si’s eyes widened violently.
She slowly turned her head.
Drevin stood in the distance with his bow lowered slightly.
During the mont Si focused entirely on beating Lia—
She had stopped maintaining the dense pressure barrier around herself.
That single instant was enough.
The poison arrow had landed.
Si suddenly dropped onto one knee.
Blood spilled from her mouth.
Her body felt weak.
Heavy.
"What..."
"...is this arrow...?"
anwhile, Lia slowly stood up despite her still-healing face.
Blood dripped from her chin while she looked down at the kneeling Abyssal.
"It’s over..."
"Abyssal."
Si looked up at her.
Then—
Smirked.
"You think so?"
"Look there."
Lia’s eyes widened slightly as she turned.
In the distance—
Ron and Maera were both lying on the ground covered in injuries.
And standing above them—
Ul held Ron’s own spear in his hand.
The spear tip was aid directly toward Ron’s throat.
And Ul was about to kill him.
