Just after Ron awakened his strange new perception through Iron Pulse, the battlefield around him transford completely.
He still couldn’t see normally.
He still couldn’t hear.
But through the intense sensitivity of heat and mana, the world around him appeared alive in another way.
Everything looked like burning outlines.
Living heat.
Flas in different shapes and colors.
And right now—
The presence before him was Ul.
The mont Ron sensed Ul standing near Maera, blue flas erupted around his spear as he imdiately thrust toward him.
Boom.
The flaming spear tore through the air.
But Ul casually jumped upward without even looking toward Ron properly.
The Abyssal twisted gracefully in midair and avoided the attack completely.
Ron’s spear passed dangerously close to Maera’s face instead.
Instantly, Maera felt searing heat brush against her skin.
"Ghh—!"
She winced painfully and leaned backward.
Ron couldn’t hear her reaction at all.
But through his thermal perception, he noticed the sudden increase of heat around Maera’s face and instantly pulled his spear back before turning toward Ul again.
Then he quickly spoke toward Maera.
"Maera, I’m sorry..."
"I can’t hear or see properly right now."
He tightened his grip around the spear.
"I’m seeing through sothing special..."
"But I’m still not used to it yet."
His expression remained tense.
"I don’t know exactly what happened..."
"But that guy made blind and deaf."
"And it looks like he did sothing to you too."
Ron steadied himself in front of her protectively.
"You don’t look like you can fight properly right now."
"So take your ti."
"I’ll do what I can."
Ron imdiately dashed toward Ul again.
Blue flas exploded around the tip of his black spear as he thrust forward using all his speed and strength.
Boom.
The spear tore through the air violently.
But Ul effortlessly dodged using his stolen sense of balance.
His movents were smooth.
Perfect.
Almost unnatural.
Yet Ron didn’t stop.
The mont his thrust missed, he imdiately planted the spear into the ground and used it as support to swing his leg toward Ul.
Ul calmly lowered his body and avoided the kick too—
But this ti Ron followed instantly.
He punched downward with full force.
For the first ti—
Ul’s four eyes shook slightly.
Even so, he still managed to catch Ron’s fist before impact.
Ul looked directly at him.
"What did you do, runt...?"
"You are fighting better now than when you still had your eyes."
But Ron said nothing.
He couldn’t hear a single word Ul was speaking.
Instead, Ron imdiately pulled his fist back and jumped away to create distance.
Then he attacked again.
And again.
But Ul dodged every movent effortlessly before suddenly stepping forward himself.
Boom.
His punch slamd directly into Ron’s stomach.
Blood burst out from Ron’s mouth instantly.
The impact forced all the air from his lungs and made his grip loosen.
His black spear fell onto the ground nearby.
"Ron!!"
Maera shouted desperately while trying to stand—
But the mont she moved, the world spun violently again.
She gritted her teeth hard.
Her body felt useless.
Unstable.
She had never felt this frustrated before.
anwhile, Ul looked at Ron calmly.
"You may not be able to hear ..."
"But you should already understand."
"You cannot defeat ."
His expression remained completely straight.
"Si enjoys playing with her opponents."
"But I do not."
Ul slowly looked down at Ron.
"I observed what I needed to observe."
"For a mont..."
"I thought you were special."
"Extraordinary."
Then he picked up Ron’s black spear from the ground.
"But in the end..."
"You were painfully ordinary."
Ul slowly aid the spear toward Ron’s throat.
Then suddenly—
He glanced sideways.
Toward Si.
More specifically—
Toward the dark-blue arrow piercing through her body.
"...Hmm."
"So Si was defeated."
His tone remained emotionless.
"No matter."
Then he looked back at Ron again.
And pointed the spear directly toward his throat.

Outside the shattered castle, high in the air above the battlefield, Zane silently watched everything unfolding through the walls alongside Zayne.
The ruined hall...
Ron lying injured...
Ul aiming the black spear toward Ron’s throat...
And Si kneeling after being struck by Drevin’s poison arrow.
anwhile, Priest Paul, who had regained consciousness while still trapped in Zayne’s grasp, watched everything with a faint smirk on his face despite his miserable condition.
Zayne’s expression slowly beca serious.
"...Boss."
Zane kept staring toward the castle calmly.
"I know."
His eyes narrowed slightly while observing Ul.
"It seems this Abyssal nad Ul is very strong..."
"At least for Ron and Maera."
Then after a short pause, he added,
"And unlike the one possessing Lia’s sister..."
"This one is far more level-headed."
Below them, Ul continued aiming Ron’s own spear toward his throat.
Zane quietly watched for another mont before suddenly speaking again.
"So in the end..."
"I’ll have to help."
Beside him, Zayne imdiately felt uneasy.
Very uneasy.
Sohow, hearing those words from Zane never sounded normal.
Then Zane suddenly smiled slightly.
"I have an idea."
Zayne’s eyes twitched.
...I’m having a really bad feeling about this.
He knew.
Whenever Zane Creed smiled like that—
Sothing absurd or weird was about to happen.
Then Zane looked toward the castle again.
And quietly said,
"I’ll do the sa thing as that."

Inside the ruined castle hall, Ul calmly thrust Ron’s own spear toward his throat.
Ron’s injured body could barely move anymore.

A familiar voice suddenly rang inside his head.
Let help you a bit, kid...
At the sa ti, Lia finally noticed what was happening from the other side of the battlefield.
Her eyes widened in horror.
"RON!!!"
Ul’s spear pierced downward.

The spear tip struck the ground.
Not Ron’s throat.
For the first ti since the battle began, Ul’s expression visibly shifted.
Ron was no longer where he had been.
He now stood several ters behind Ul.
Ul slowly turned around.
"What was that, runt...?"
"You suddenly beca faster."
Ron faced him silently.
His appearance was still strange—
Pure white eyes without pupils.
Ears sealed beneath smooth skin.
But now—
Sothing felt completely different about him.
He was smirking.
"Co on, Abyssal..."
"Show what you can do."
Maera, Lia, Selene, and Drevin all stared at Ron in shock.
Even through the chaos of battle—
Sothing about him felt different now.
Before, Ron’s body had been covered in violent deep-blue flas.
But now—
Only a thin layer of light-blue fla mana flowed around him calmly.
Controlled.
Condensed.
The next instant—
Boom.
Ron disappeared.
Even Ul’s eyes widened slightly.
Ron instantly appeared beside him and kicked directly toward his face.
Ul lowered his body to dodge—
But unlike before—
He barely managed it.
And Ron was still smirking.
He spun around imdiately and drove a knee into Ul’s stomach.
Boom.
The impact forced the spear from Ul’s hand.
Ul slid backward with visible effort before finally stabilizing himself.
Then he looked down.
The area around his stomach was fully burned black.
Though the wound slowly regenerated afterward—
His eyes still narrowed slightly.
anwhile, Ron casually picked up his black spear from the ground.
"I’ll take this back."
Then he looked toward Maera.
"Focus."
"Activate your Iron Pulse."
"And prepare your final move from your partial beast transformation..."
"Just like we trained."
Maera’s eyes widened imdiately.
"...Professor Zane..."
Ul stared at Ron with an emotionless face.
But this ti—
There was visible caution in his eyes.
"...You."
"Who are you?"
"You are not that runt anymore."
Ron smiled slightly.
"You could say..."
"I’m an angel ca from above."
Then he pointed upward toward the sky.
