Han Yu had no idea how long they would remain hidden within the safe house.
At first he assud it would only be a few months while the sect stabilized itself and rooted out the supposed Ashen Moon Remnants. But as days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months, it beca obvious that the higher ups of the sect were taking this matter far more seriously than anyone had expected.
The entire Slaughtered Moon Divine Blood Sect had practically locked itself away from the world. Even his master rarely received ssages, and whenever he did, his expression would grow heavier afterward.
The Second Kidney Peak Head had long since stopped treating this like a temporary inconvenience. Instead he began preparing the safe house as though they would be living there for years.
Han Yu found that particularly troubleso.
The old man personally set up a massive Ice Qi gathering array within the underground cultivation chambers beneath the mansion.
The concentration of cold energy beca dense enough that frost permanently coated the walls and floors. Even ordinary Core Condensation realm cultivators would struggle to survive within the chambers for long periods.
Yet for Han Yu it beca an excellent cultivation environnt.
His master seed rather satisfied after completing it.
"You should cultivate properly during this period," the old man said seriously one evening. "The stronger you beco, the more dangers you can survive in the future."
Han Yu rely nodded obediently.
Internally though, he was rather frustrated.
His master was not leaving the mansion at all. The Second Kidney Peak Head remained inside the protected zone almost every single day. Even ng Jueyan was forbidden from going beyond the barrier surrounding the mansion.
That ant Han Yu himself remained heavily limited.
His soul projection range still reached fifteen kiloters, but that hardly mattered here. There was practically nothing around them except endless forests and mountains.
Thankfully Chitterfang existed.
The fat rat and his countless children beca Han Yu’s greatest source of information once again. The Rat Battalion spread throughout the wilderness tirelessly. Day after day they continued expanding outward while scouting the surrounding territories.
Eventually they finally found signs of human life.
One evening Chitterfang proudly stood atop Han Yu’s table while squeaking loudly.
"Master! Great discovery!"
Han Yu glanced at the rat lazily while sipping wine.
"What did you find?"
"A village!"
Chitterfang puffed up his chest proudly.
"A very tiny village! Weak humans everywhere!"
Han Yu imdiately beca more interested.
The rat quickly explained everything his children had discovered.
The settlent was called Kyo Village.
It remained hidden deep within the forests far to the northwest of the Blood Continent. The village itself was extrely ordinary. Most residents were simple mortals while only a handful possessed cultivation.
The Village Head apparently stood at the Early Core Condensation Realm while several hunters had reached the Qi Refining Realm. Beyond that, the region remained relatively peaceful.
A few stronger spirit beasts road the deeper forests, but nothing that threatened major cultivators at Han Yu’s level. Han Yu imdiately checked the maps stored within his spatial ring.
The more he compared the terrain and details, the more surprised he beca.
"Kyo Village..." he muttered quietly.
Then realization struck him as his eyes widened slightly.
They were near the frontier.
Very near.
Only six kiloters farther northwest and one would literally reach the edge of the continent itself.
Han Yu had never expected the sect would send them this far away. The Slaughtered Moon Divine Blood Sect itself remained over three thousand kiloters away from their current location.
That distance shocked even him.
The Blood Sect truly possessed frightening hidden infrastructure if they could secretly transport people across such enormous distances using concealed teleportation arrays. Still, once Han Yu learned their location, his thoughts imdiately began moving once more.
Now he could finally start planning again.
The next issue naturally beca communication. Since ordinary jade slips could not transmit across such absurd distances, Han Yu had to rely entirely on Chitterfang’s children. The Rat Battalion began moving ssages gradually across the continent.
The process took an incredibly long ti.
Rats had limits after all.
So carried ssages physically while others relayed information between groups. Entire chains of communication had to be established secretly throughout forests, caves, abandoned tunnels and remote settlents.
Nearly six months passed before Qing Luan finally received Han Yu’s ssage.
When her reply eventually reached him, Han Yu actually felt relieved.
For the first ti in years, proper communication had finally reopened.
Qing Luan imdiately learned where he had been hidden.
More importantly, she finally learned what had truly happened within the sect over the last several years.
Han Yu explained everything carefully; the tournant massacres, the destruction of the inheritances, the death of Bai Langya, the Ashen Moon conspiracy, the sect wide panic and the hidden ancestors erging from seclusion.
Qing Luan beca utterly stunned.
Even through the written ssages Han Yu could practically imagine her expression.
She had always known Han Yu possessed terrifying thods and intelligence, but even she had never imagined he could single handedly push the Slaughtered Moon Divine Blood Sect into such chaos.
He had nearly shattered the entire sect from within.
At one point her ssage bluntly asked him sothing.
"If you had remained there longer, would you have eventually destroyed the sect entirely?"
Han Yu smiled slightly after reading that.
He quickly replied honestly.
"No."
At least not yet.
He understood his own limitations clearly.
Dao Shell realm cultivators already proved difficult to control and maintain. Dao Treading realm experts remained completely impossible for him currently. Then there was the terrifying matter of the Bleeding Moon itself and the hidden ancestors of the sect.
Han Yu still lacked enough strength to truly destroy sothing that ancient and massive.
Still...
If given enough ti...
Perhaps things might have developed differently. For now though, Han Yu focused on the opportunities appearing outside the sect. He imdiately instructed Qing Luan to begin expanding operations.
Since the Blood Sect had closed itself entirely from the outside world, many supply chains throughout the continent had broken apart. Various products, pills, resources and services previously controlled by the sect suddenly vanished.
