Huamu Ran's eyes widened as he stood up. His voice cracked slightly. "You… you are the one… the one who injured my son…?"

Han Yu shrugged. "He bumped into . I asked for an apology. He refused."He tossed Elder Bai lightly in the air and caught him by the collar again."So the next day you sent dogs to break my limbs. I simply defended myself."

The hall erupted with enraged murmurs.

"Defended himself? Does he think we are fools?"

"He calls this self defense?"

"He must be mad—"

But none dared make a move. Because Han Yu's presence felt like a mountain leaning forward, daring anyone to take the first step toward being crushed.

Madam Shu pointed at him, trembling with fury and fear. "Seize him! Soone seize him! He killed our guards and even crippled Elder Bai!"

No one moved.

Not even one step.

Han Yu turned his head slowly toward her.

Just one look made Madam Shu stumble backward into Huamu Ran's arm.

Huamu Ran swallowed hard, trying to gather his composure.

"You… who are you?" the clan head demanded. "Tell who sent you. Tell which rival clan hired you. The Birch Leaf Clan has many enemies outside the town. I can pay you double whatever they paid you."

Han Yu's smile widened.

"Double? Oh, I accept."

Huamu Ran's shoulders relaxed slightly in relief. Madam Shu looked confused but hopeful.

"How much?" the clan head asked.

Han Yu held up a single finger.

"One hundred thousand high grade immortal stones."

The entire hall fell silent.

Several elders choked on their own spit.

Madam Shu's face turned purple with rage. "Are you mocking us?!"

Han Yu shrugged. "You asked how much. I answered."

Huamu Ran's expression twisted. "You dare extort us after murdering my people…? Do you really think you will walk out of here alive? The governnt authorities will be after you—"

Han Yu laughed. Not a normal laugh. A low, chilling one that made every hair on the back of every neck stand up.

"The governnt?" he repeated slowly.

He reached into his sleeve.

Everyone tensed. The elders grabbed their robes in fear.

Han Yu pulled out a crimson and black token. A cold aura rippled out, dark and suffocating, as if the hall itself lost all warmth.

The bleeding moon engraved on the token glead faintly.

It was unmistakable.

A Slaughtered Moon Divine Blood Sect disciple token.

Gasps erupted around the hall.

Elders staggered backward.

Stewards fell to their knees.

Madam Shu collapsed entirely, trembling uncontrollably.

Huamu Ran's legs weakened, and he sat back into his seat as if soone had pulled the ground from beneath him.

Han Yu let the token sway between his fingers.

At the sa ti, he stopped restraining his aura.

HUALA

A wave of pressure burst forth, heavy and suffocating, making the air grow thick. The elders felt their knees give out. So collapsed with gasps, unable to breathe. Even Huamu Ran had to grip the arm of his chair tightly to stay upright.

Han Yu's voice deepened.

"You said the governnt authorities would punish ," he said calmly."They will not. They will bow."

He took a step forward.

The entire hall recoiled.

"Because I am Ju Fan," he continued, "disciple of the Slaughtered Moon Divine Blood Sect."

The na itself was a blade placed at their throats.

Blood drained from every face.

Madam Shu shrieked in terror.

Huamu Ran's hands started to shake uncontrollably.

Han Yu lifted Elder Bai up by the neck slightly, presenting the broken man before the clan like an offering.

"And you," Han Yu said softly, "dared to raise a hand against ."

He smiled.

It was a cold, rciless smile.

A smile that promised the hall would soon beco a nightmare.

The mont Han Yu revealed the identity token, the Birch Leaf rchant Clan collapsed into a pit of fear.

So elders fell to their knees outright. Others clung to pillars or chairs for support, desperately trying not to faint. The stewards shook so violently that their teeth clacked. Madam Shu crouched behind her husband, trembling like a frightened animal.

The clan head Huamu Ran was the only one who forced himself to speak, though his voice cracked with every word.

"Honored disciple… why… why would you do this?" he croaked, wiping sweat from his brow. "Why go to this length? If… if you had told us who you were before… we would never have dared to even breathe in front of you."

He swallowed hard, trying to salvage dignity that no longer existed.

"If my son had bumped into you, I would have personally broken his legs and dragged him before you to apologize. You could have simply co to our clan and announced who you really were."

All around him, heads nodded vigorously.Everyone thought the sa.

Why did this disciple start with humiliation, then escalate into carnage? Why not announce his identity first?

Han Yu let the silence stretch. He let their fear stew. Then he slowly raised a brow.

"Oh?" he said in a cold, amused tone. "So you think your clan is so high and mighty that I, a disciple of the Slaughtered Moon Divine Blood Sect, must report to you when I enter a town?"

Huamu Ran's eyes darkened with dread.

Han Yu continued, voice laced with theatrical disbelief.

"Should I stand in the middle of the street and shout, Greetings mortals, behold, I am Ju Fan? Should I wear a signboard announcing my rank? Would you like to knock on every door in town to tell them who I am?"

No one dared breathe.

"And I should reveal myself," Han Yu went on, "to your son who cannot even walk straight, and your guards who move like ducks in mud? You all truly believe you are worthy of that courtesy?"

Gasps filled the hall. Madam Shu collapsed fully, muffling a wail in her sleeve. The stewards wanted to run away, but their legs did not obey their wills.
