Two hours later, Han Yu's ridian network was completely replenished.
His Dantian filled again as well.
The Qi sea churned with crimson energy.
Most of it now carried the faint purple tinged characteristic of the highly refined Moon Blood Qi.
Compared to that overwhelming energy, the other forms of Qi within his body appeared almost insignificant.
The Dark Spirit Qi from his darkness affinity.
The Wood Spirit Qi from his wood affinity.
The neutral spirit Qi.
The Fire Spirit Qi.
And even the newly ford Abyssal Frost Qi.
All of them were pushed toward the edges of his Qi sea by the sheer volu of Blood energy.
Only one energy remained firmly in the center.
The Abyssal Frost Qi.
Even though its total quantity was small, its presence remained stable at the core of the Qi sea.
Han Yu found this interesting.
The Moon Blood Qi naturally dominated the Dantian because of its quantity. But the Abyssal Frost Qi held its position near the core as if it possessed a certain authority. Han Yu did not try interfering with that balance.
Instead he continued cultivating.
The Moon Conquering Divine Art circulated repeatedly.
The incoming Blood Qi entered his body through the array, flowed through his ridians, and returned to the Dantian where it gradually refined his core.
Compared to the earlier struggle with the Freezing Abyss Glacial Art, this process felt incredibly smooth.
There was no pain.
No ntal struggle.
No dangerous illusions.
Just steady progress.
Because of that, Han Yu found it easier to concentrate.
His mind remained focused even though he did not enter the sa deep trance as before.
Ti passed quietly.
One day.
Two days.
Three days.
The process continued uninterrupted.
The Blood River beneath the sect continued feeding the array, providing an endless stream of cultivation energy.
Han Yu remained seated in ditation, allowing the Moon Conquering Divine Art to steadily refine his cultivation.
Seven days later, he finally opened his eyes.
His gaze turned inward imdiately.
He examined his Dantian once again.
The changes were obvious.
The surface of his crimson core had transford significantly. Nearly seventy percent of the energy inside it had now been converted into Moon Blood Qi. The core itself glowed with a deeper crimson hue mixed with subtle purple highlights.
Han Yu nodded in satisfaction.
This level of refinent was already far beyond what most disciples achieved even after many decades of cultivation.
Of course, another elent existed within the core as well.
The Abyssal Frost Qi.
Tiny black spots remained scattered across the core's surface.
They were extrely small compared to the dominant Moon Blood Qi.
Han Yu estimated the amount.
"Less than one percent," he murmured.
Still, he noticed sothing interesting.
When he had first ford the Abyssal Frost Qi, there had been only one point of dark energy inside the core.
Now there were several.
Multiple spots had appeared during the week of cultivation.
This ant sothing important.
The Freezing Abyss Glacial Art was continuing to function automatically.
Even while he focused on cultivating the Moon Conquering Divine Art, the abyssal energy was slowly accumulating on its own.
Han Yu leaned back slightly and thought about the interaction between the two techniques.
He did not yet know how the Moon Blood Qi and Abyssal Frost Qi would ultimately coexist within his core.
Perhaps they would stabilize at so form of balance.
Fifty percent Moon Blood Qi.
Fifty percent Abyssal Frost Qi.
Or so other ratio determined by the nature of the techniques themselves.
But that was sothing for the future.
For now, the Abyssal Frost Qi remained a tiny fraction of his total energy.
His priority was different.
He wanted to finish refining the foundation he already possessed.
The Moon Conquering Divine Art represented the advanced evolution of the sect's primary cultivation technique.
Completing the conversion of his Blood Qi into Moon Blood Qi would greatly strengthen his base.
Once that foundation was fully stabilized, he could then dedicate more attention to expanding the Abyssal Frost Qi.
Han Yu closed his eyes again.
"First strengthen the foundation."
"Then build the horizontal supports."
With that thought, he resud circulating the Moon Conquering Divine Art within the High Grade Blood Cultivation Chamber.
So ti later...
Han Yu slowly stood up from the ditation cushion inside the High Grade Blood Cultivation Chamber.
Pop pop pop
A faint crackling sound ca from his joints as he stretched his limbs. Even though he had been sitting for an entire week, there was no stiffness in his body. Instead he felt energized, his muscles filled with quiet strength.
His cultivation had clearly advanced.
Not in realm, but in quality.
The Moon Blood Qi circulating through his body felt dense and stable. Even the flow through his ridians seed smoother than before, as if the refined energy had polished the internal pathways.
Han Yu exhaled slowly.
A faint red mist escaped his mouth.
"Good progress."
He glanced around the chamber once more before leaving. The array continued humming quietly, still channeling refined Blood River energy through the room.
For the mont he did not need more cultivation.
Han Yu stepped out into the corridor of the residence and finally took out his communication jade slip.
The surface of the jade shimred faintly as he activated it.
Imdiately he noticed a ssage.
It had arrived several days ago.
Han Yu raised an eyebrow.
"Four days?"
He had been so focused on cultivation that he had completely ignored the jade slip. Even though he occasionally checked it when eating, during this last week he had been entirely imrsed in refining Moon Blood Qi.
He infused a trace of spirit sense into the jade.
The ssage opened.
The sender was exactly who he expected: The Second Kidney Peak Head.
Han Yu read the ssage carefully.
The first part surprised him slightly.
The Peak Head had not been cultivating as Han Yu originally assud. Instead the man had been extrely busy.
According to the ssage, the past several weeks had been filled with etings and discussions involving multiple elders and peak heads. The sect seed to be dealing with several complicated internal matters.
