Luo Zheng let Hook command the team to disperse along the trenches to establish a defensive line, which Hook promptly did. With the trench as a defense line, Luo Zheng could finally relax, sitting inside the trench and gasping for breath as the reckless charge almost depleted all of Luo Zheng's stamina, emptying his last reserves during the retreat.
"Scholar, you command," Luo Zheng barely managed to catch his breath and shouted loudly.
Without ceremony, Scholar agreed and took command, allocating his n according to the enemy's attack deploynt. Mountain Eagle approached, crouched before Luo Zheng, and checked that Luo Zheng wasn't seriously injured, then exhaled in relief. As for injuries, who isn't hurt on the battlefield?
"Take your n to support the other side imdiately; here has trenches, and the enemy can't attack," Luo Zheng instructed, panting heavily, with his chest painfully lying, knowing his internal injuries worsened but grimly endured, not daring to let them show to affect morale.
Mountain Eagle agreed, leading his n swiftly along the trenches, each crouching like Death Gods stealthily moving in the night, quickly disappearing. Luo Zheng breathed deeply, calming his racing heartbeat, then shouted through the earpiece, "Xue Er, what's your situation?"
"The enemy isn't very nurous; we can hold them off. Are you alright?" Lan Xue asked worriedly.

Then, Scholar's voice rang through the earpiece, "Brothers, snipers with incendiary bombs, assaulters handle the heavy machine guns; the rest, hit those damned bastards hard, kill."
"Kill!" Everyone inside the trench roared, having not participated in the earlier battle since they were busy building the trenches. Each felt pent-up, especially since Luo Zheng had risked a reckless charge to buy ti for them nearly costing his life. This filled the troops with rage, and they shouted fiercely, their killing intent soaring.
