The search team quickly returned without any discoveries. This result secretly relieved the Major. No matter what, as long as nothing happened, it was fine. "How can they do that without going down?" a Lieutenant next to him disdainfully whispered, fawningly glancing at the Major, continuing, "Chief, we all know what's below; it's indeed very important. We're not letting our guard down, but to say that without going down they could tamper with it, unless they were magicians."
"What if they threw a bomb?" The previous Lieutenant discontentedly argued.
"Haha, that's the funniest joke I've ever heard. If a grenade were thrown down, wouldn't it explode? It's been so long; did anyone hear any explosion sounds? Did you hear anything?" This Lieutenant sneered sarcastically, "Don't insult our chief's intelligence, okay? Are you trying to say it was a tid bomb? Aside from weapons, they only had Japanese swords; could we not see a bomb if they had one? Fine, even if they had a tid bomb, it would make noise when it hit the ground. Don't forget we have people guarding down there. On such a quiet night, wouldn't we hear it?"
The Major thought it made sense; if it were a grenade, it would have exploded by now. If it were a tid bomb, it would make a collision sound when thrown down, no reason not to hear it. Yet, still suspecting, he looked at Luo Zheng and the others who had already walked far away and shouted: "Stop arguing, follow , let's catch up and take a look."
The team sward and quickly caught up with Luo Zheng and the others. The Major ran up to Luo Zheng, smiled, and asked, "Mr. Shijing, where are you planning to go? I can bring people to support you, is that okay?"

"Everyone, speed up the retreat." Luo Zheng sharply sensed sothing was off, lowered his voice, and said, while discreetly gesturing to Mountain Eagle and others ambushed nearby.
Everyone quickened their pace, not far out before hearing the Major call from behind ordering everyone to stop, Luo Zheng knew they were suspected, whispered loudly, "Quick, rush down."
Everyone realized they were exposed, without hesitation, they dashed madly down the mountain. At this mont, Mountain Eagle and others hidden around opened fire. The Major saw Luo Zheng and the others suddenly speed up and run, then realized what was happening, and was furious. Just as he was about to give an attack order, a sniper bullet whistled over, exploding his head directly.
The sudden gunfire startled the enemy trendously. They all lay down, searching, and saw Luo Zheng and others already rushing down the mountain. So wanted to rise to pursue but were quickly put down by sniper fire. The enemy panicked. With the Major shot dead, no one commanded, and during this ti, Luo Zheng and others had disappeared into the forest down the mountain.
From the enemy command post rushed out a team led by a Lieutenant Colonel. Seeing more than a dozen subordinates sniped dead on the ground and the even deader Major, his face turned icy, roaring, signaling the team to pursue. The searchlights all turned on, lighting up the surroundings as if dayti.
The Lieutenant Colonel led the team no more than a hundred ters out when a series of explosions bood from the back mountain, scaring everyone to the ground, hiding. The Lieutenant Colonel hesitated, then his face changed drastically, quickly got up, roaring, signaling the team to follow, running towards the back mountain.
The back mountain's sinkhole location was not far. Everyone quickly rushed up, seeing sparks inside the sinkhole, many cables burning. Through the light, they saw many places below bombed out, devastated, so signal dishes blasted beyond use.
Seeing this scene, the Lieutenant Colonel's face turned ashen, furiously leading his n back, wildly chasing in the direction Luo Zheng and others retreated. The team packed up, quickly sprinting westward. The west was Yue Country's heartland; no one would expect Luo Zheng and others to head for Yue Country's doorstep instead of returning ho. In the dark night, everyone wore Night Vision Devices, running quickly, each moving like a cheetah, swiftly weaving through the forest, disappearing into the night.
At the base, near the cave entrance, Jackson stood on the open square, coldly watching the woods in the night. After receiving reports from all sides, soone reported to Jackson. A series of dazzling sneak attacks had caused great losses for Yue Country, more important was the radar array inside the sinkhole being destroyed.
