The unfavorable start made Luo Zheng harbor a belly full of fire, glaring coldly at the pursuing enemies, who were all cloaked in snow-white capes and blended perfectly with the land. If they weren't moving, they would be impossible to detect. He glanced at Lan Xue, who nodded back. Luo Zheng's face tensed, and he said coldly, "Fine, let's play with them. Even if we die, we're going to take down a few with us. Each person gets a hundred. If anyone falls short, they're not allowed to die. Let's go."

"Yes." Everyone stood up and marched with murderous intent toward Death Valley, carrying a trace of decisiveness.

Encountering an enemy encirclent as soon as they arrived had everyone frustrated and furious. Since they couldn't avoid it, then battle it is; death is all the sa. Even if we die, we'll take enough with us. With a fighting spirit, everyone arrived at the valley and quickly surveyed the surrounding terrain. Luo Zheng said with a cold face, "Dig out the supplies and distribute the ammunition."

"Yes," Ghost Hand and the others agreed.

Luo Zheng threw his backpack to the ground, took out all the Button Bombs, and, along with Lan Xue, went 200 ters ahead of the valley to plant them, setting them all for remote detonation; nearly a hundred Button Bombs were thrown to the ground, covered quickly with snow by kicking up so snow.

After the two finished setting the bombs, Ghost Hand and the others also dug out the wooden boxes. Luo Zheng and Lan Xue rushed over, took another hundred Button Bombs, and said to Ghost Hand and the other three, "Find a way to make so foxholes." Without waiting for everyone to understand, he and Lan Xue hurriedly ran to set up Button Bombs around the valley entrance.

Ghost Hand and the others understood Luo Zheng's intent, and the three took out engineer shovels, chose three places to dig out snow, and used Button Bombs to blast open the frozen snow layer, placing hard snow blocks as cover. These snow blocks were very solid; the shovel would leave only a shallow mark. With enough of them, bullet resistance isn't an issue.

Ten minutes later, Luo Zheng and Lan Xue had set up two hundred Button Bombs at the valley entrance, while Ghost Hand and the others had dug three foxholes, placing large ice blocks as cover. At this mont, Luo Zheng noticed that the enemies were less than a kiloter away and quickly said, "Ghost Hand, Snow Leopard."

"Here," they shouted, fierce fighting spirit emanating, a murderous aura rising.

"You rely on your foxholes to hold the valley entrance. Take whatever weapons and equipnt you need," Luo Zheng commanded coldly.

"Yes," they replied without hesitation and ran to the wooden boxes to get ammunition.

"Mountain Eagle, you're responsible for the high ground on the left, Xue Er for the right, I'll stay at the front. Form a triangular sniper formation; kill freely. Carry the Type 95 assault rifles and enough bullets; we might need to fight in close quarters," Luo Zheng said firmly, his gaze intense, focus locked on the advancing pursuers, murderously intent.

Lan Xue and Mountain Eagle affird and ran to the wooden boxes to take weapons and ammunition, then dashed toward the high ground on both sides of the valley. Luo Zheng carefully pocketed the Button Bomb remote, glanced at the hidden Ghost Hand and Snow Leopard, and entered another dug-out foxhole, jumping in without hesitation, set up the sniper rifle, and aid at the rushing pursuers, loudly shouting, "Let the enemies reach 400 ters before opening fire."

"Yes," everyone shouted in unison, thick murderous intent flowing in the valley.

The valley was surrounded by towering snow-capped mountains on all three sides. It was a place of death and desperation, usually avoided by military strategists. But Luo Zheng's situation was different; he had to seek life amid death here. Whether they could find a way out was uncertain, but one thing was clear—they would take a few down even if they died.

The pursuers didn't rush forward but halted at 500 ters, seeming to discuss sothing. This phenonon concerned Luo Zheng. If the enemy encircled but didn't attack, they'd have big trouble. He glanced at the terrain, with the peaks blocking the view and any chance of a sneak attack. The only direction for an attack was the valley entrance.

Earpiece communication was inconvenient, hindering exchanges and making command difficult. Fortunately, the team's cooperation was tacit, and everyone patiently waited, making final preparations for combat as ti ticked by. Still, the enemy showed no intention of attacking. Luo Zheng got angry, raised his arm and shouted, drawing Lan Xue and Mountain Eagle's attention before making a kill gesture.

Lan Xue and Mountain Eagle nodded in understanding, their faces cold and full of murderous intent, quickly aiming ahead at the enemy, decisively firing upon identifying valuable targets. Luo Zheng's position wasn't sufficient to see enemies crawling on the ground, but at the sound of gunfire, he promptly prepared for battle.

Still, the enemy didn't imdiately advance—there was more gunfire. Maybe the successive sniping of several officers incited the enemy's fury, and imdiately a platoon launched an attack. This probing offensive frustrated Luo Zheng, who shouted loudly, "Ghost Hand, Snow Leopard, keep the enemy beyond the 200-ter line—kill."

"Understood," they both shouted in unison, opening fire.

"Boom, boom!" Rapid bursts carried boundless killing intent, toppling targets to the ground, instantly taking down several at the front and scaring the rest to hit the ground, firing back.

The area ahead was flat and exposed. Those who dropped might reduce the chance of being shot head-on but couldn't escape Mountain Eagle and Lan Xue's sniping from the valley's high ground. Few sniper shots rang out, causing enemy soldiers to drop without any possibility of survival.

The enemy's bloodthirst and rage were also ignited, and under officers' strict orders, they held their guns and charged recklessly, ignoring the peril of exposure. Such easy targets posed no pressure to Ghost Hand and Snow Leopard. Luo Zheng quickly zeroed in on a light machine gunner and pulled the trigger without hesitation.

"Whoosh!" The sniper bullet whizzed away with all of Luo Zheng's fury, carving out a terrifying shockwave like lightning that slamd into the target's heart. The fierce bullet drilled into the body, rotated violently upon eting resistance, shredding all in its path—bones, muscles, organs.

The target was blown away by the bullet, body splitting in the air, blood spraying, organs spilling, looking extrely terrifying. Such ferocious killing intimidated others to remain grounded and seek cover but couldn't evade Mountain Eagle and Lan Xue's sniping from above.

Before long, over half a platoon was lost, the remaining soldiers not daring to move rashly, chaotically firing back, trying to suppress the opponents with firepower. At this ti, Luo Zheng noticed more enemies attacking from the left, center, and right, each direction with about thirty people, nearly a hundred overall, chilling his expression. He switched to the Type 95 assault rifle, quickly chambering bullets, aiming ahead, his gaze icy with murderous intent.
