"Da da da!" Luo Zheng fiercely opened fire on the enemies rushing to the four-hundred-ter line, bullets being shot one after another, connecting front and back like a machine gun in automatic fire mode. The firepower was fierce, yet each shot accurately found its target, ruthlessly tearing them down to the ground, raising fountains of blood and flesh.
Ghost Hand and Snow Leopard were also desperately fighting back, bodies hidden in the foxholes with solid ice blocks in front, not too worried about being shot unless there was a sniper. As soon as the battle started, it entered a white-hot state, where it's either kill or be killed; there was no ti to think about much else.
On the high ground on both sides of the valley, Mountain Eagle and Lan Xue restrained themselves from the impulse to sweep with assault rifles. Although sniper rifles have slower firing rates, they can accurately incite panic through precise shooting. The two tactically targeted enemy officers, machine gunners, and snipers, leaving ordinary soldiers to be handled by Luo Zheng and the three at the valley entrance.
On one side, there were many forces, strong in combat power, and on the other side, relying on terrain to fight desperately, precisely killing; both parties were fighting intensely. However, Luo Zheng's side ultimately had fewer people and insufficient firepower suppression; the enemy advanced to the three-hundred-ter line and stopped. This distance allowed the enemy to showcase their combat power, and their dense firepower made it difficult for everyone to lift their heads for counterattacks.
Seeing that the opponent wasn't continuing the attack, Luo Zheng calmly placed the emptied magazines of his 95-style assault rifle aside and set up a sniper rifle, chambered an incendiary bomb, quickly aid at a spot densely packed with enemies, and pulled the trigger. The incendiary bomb, carrying Luo Zheng's fury, soared into the sky with a terrifying whistling sound, drowned out by surrounding dense gunfire.
"Boom!" The sniper incendiary bomb exploded upon hitting the target, scattering countless flammable agents, igniting several people nearby. The scorching high temperature instantly burned through clothing, charring muscles and igniting sparks. The ignited individuals imdiately rolled on the ground in agony, pressing snow onto their wounds, attempting to extinguish the flas.
Yet, the high temperature of the flammable agent wasn't easily extinguished. The intense heat continued searing through flesh, creating a charred stench; many people couldn't endure the pain, collapsing unconscious on the ground. More individuals rolled around in agony, shouting in pain, as a terrifying aura pervaded the air.
Luo Zheng didn't stop, continuing to fire incendiary bombs. The Lan Se Mountain Eagles on both sides of the valley also switched to incendiary bombs. When enemies were densely packed, sniper incendiary bombs were undoubtedly the best attack weapon, capable of killing enemies and inciting fear. But when there are fewer people, it's sowhat wasteful.
Ghost Hand and Snow Leopard seized the opportunity for a fierce counterattack, taking down a dozen enemies trying to rush forward, firmly blocking the enemy's assault at the three-hundred-ter line. "Da da da!" Luo Zheng opened fire, knocking down the few enemies rushing in front, thwarting their assault. The enemy was fighting very tenaciously this ti, not retreating or lying down, but shouting fiercely as they charged forward, splitting a portion of their forces to suppress Luo Zheng's firepower.
Luo Zheng managed only a few shots before being suppressed by enemy fire so much that he couldn't fight back. Although Lan Xue and Mountain Eagle provided sniper support, their firepower was limited. The enemy was simply too nurous, and soon they breached the two-hundred-ter line. Luo Zheng's face chilled, abandoning counterattacks, he pulled out a remote control, his icy gaze piercing through the ice block cover, landing on the enemy charging up; nearly a hundred had entered within the two-hundred-ter line.
"Da da da!" The nearby enemies grew more arrogant, recklessly sweeping fire. The dense bullets made it impossible for Ghost Hand and Snow Leopard to counterattack; they had no choice but to crouch in foxholes, quickly reloading empty magazines. Luo Zheng also crouched down and hid, silently calculating the speed and distance of the enemy's charge while holding the remote control.
"Three, two, one!" Luo Zheng counted down three numbers and unhesitatingly pressed the remote control.
"Boom boom boom!" Nearly a hundred button bombs within the two-hundred-ter line detonated almost simultaneously. The entire ground seed to tremble, the breath-stealing explosion sounds compounded together, forming a fierce sonic blast wave, piercing ear drums and causing intermittent deafness. The impact waves from the explosion compounded together, creating a terrifying force, shaking the enemies around the explosion to death, with shattered organs and bleeding seven orifices.
The enemies charging behind were also tossed into the air by the powerful shockwave, like powerless kites flipped by a raging wind. In the air, they spat fresh blood, grotesque and extraordinary, crashing heavily to the ground, motionless. Chasers farther away fortunately escaped disaster, turning back and fleeing, losing the courage to continue fighting.
Luo Zheng, Ghost Hand, and Snow Leopard huddled in foxholes, clutching their ears tightly, loudly shouting with mouths agape to lessen the sonic blast waves' impact on their bodies. After a while, as the explosion sounds quieted down, everyone cautiously peeked out, gasping in disbelief; the valley entrance seed dyed red with blood, scattered everywhere were corpses, lying in disarray without a single survivor.
Everyone watched this scene in shock, then erupted in wild joy, shouting excitedly to relieve internal tension. Though there were still three to four hundred enemies farther away, the recent blast took out over a hundred, a feat enough to bring satisfaction; even if they die, it felt worthwhile. One after another, they began cheering.
"Quickly load your bullets, prepare for battle," Luo Zheng called out loudly.
"Yes," Ghost Hand and Snow Leopard responded excitedly, emanating a strong murderous aura that soared skyward like a sharp sword.
Luo Zheng coolly gazed forward without a hint of exhilaration, growing more anxious instead. Though this blast eliminated nearly a hundred enemies, there were still three to four hundred left, an immovable force they couldn't handle. The next attack would certainly be guarded against; what to do?
Enemies didn't imdiately launch an attack, nor did they retreat, clearly discussing tactics. Luo Zheng, with a cold expression, pressed bullets into empty magazines, readying for the coming battle. With no retreat available, they had no choice but to fight to death. With a hundred bodies lying in wait, it seed worthwhile; his gaze towards the enemy sharpened, like a sword.
