The night was as black as ink, the cold stars were nowhere to be seen, and dark clouds obscured the moon. The barren mountain ridges were shrouded in darkness, like prehistoric fierce beasts lurking, coldly watching their prey. In contrast, the temple valley was ablaze with flas, six to seven hundred troops holding torches, combined with the roaring flas of the burning temple building. Snow Leopard and others setting the mines didn't even need flashlights to see the ground vaguely. In such an environnt, no special skills were needed to set the mines; simply scattering the Button Bombs in the grass sufficed. In the dark, who could see them? If a fight broke out, who would mind their step?
In less than five minutes, Snow Leopard and the others had set up the Button Bombs and retreated to a hidden fortification. The fortification was set up at the entrance and exit by the enemy's garrison. Once the enemy retreated into the valley, the fortifications were abandoned, benefiting Luo Zheng and the others. The bags filled with rock and soil were solid and sturdy, stacked neatly like a wall. The only regret was that the presud light and heavy machine guns had been removed.
Luo Zheng looked at the enemy army inside the valley, still fighting the fire, with many running around, unclear what they were doing. He withdrew his gaze to the people around him and said, "Brothers, I know everyone is very tired, but we don't have much ti. If we can't complete the mission before dawn, it will be difficult to complete it later, and we might even face a massive enemy pursuit. Let's hold on a little longer."
"Don't worry. The brothers know what to do," Snow Leopard said solemnly, glancing at his subordinates with determination in his eyes, flickering with fighting spirit.

Everyone nodded in understanding, moving the bags in front, pulling away the two below to create so space, and putting the top bag back. A lookout point erged, adjustable in size as needed. People could stay behind it, observing the front through the space and shooting through the hole without having to peek out.
With so many enemies, once they charged, their dense firepower could make it hard for everyone to lift their heads. With the lookout, they wouldn't have to lift their heads to observe enemy movents without affecting counterattacks. Luo Zheng also set one up, glanced at everyone, and relaxed, asking over the earpiece, "Report your situations."
"We can get there in about ten minutes," Lan Xue quickly replied.
"We're about half an hour from the back of the enemy," Mountain Eagle's voice rang out in the earpiece.
"We're clearing mines; we should be there in about half an hour," Ghost Hand also reported.
"Half an hour?" Luo Zheng's eyes were like torches, staring intently at the enemy in the valley, who seed to be gathering. Even the troops fighting the temple fire had retreated, making him startle. He quickly raised his binoculars to observe. In the torchlight, Luo Zheng noticed more and more enemy troops gathering, and he was shocked, realizing sothing was amiss.
"The enemy seems a bit off, don't they?" Snow Leopard leaned over and said.
"Take a look," Luo Zheng said, handing the binoculars to Snow Leopard and frowning thoughtfully.
Snow Leopard quickly took the binoculars, looked through them, his expression growing heavier. After observing for about a minute, he put down the binoculars and said in a low voice, "The enemy seems to know we're here. They look like they're going to break through."
"You're thinking the sa as . I didn't expect them to rush to evacuate overnight. With just the few of us, we definitely can't stop them. This is trouble," Luo Zheng said, frowning and thinking.
"Should we have them rush back to help defend?" Snow Leopard suggested in a low voice.
"The problem is we're not sure if they really plan to break through," Luo Zheng said sowhat annoyed, taking back the binoculars to continue observing, his face turning cold. If the enemy started retreating now, the ten or so of them wouldn't be able to stop it. Once the enemy escaped the valley, chasing them would be difficult.
"Brother, we have one advantage," Snow Leopard reminded in a low voice. Seeing Luo Zheng look over, he pointed to the Night Vision Device and continued, "We have this, so traveling at night won't be an issue. The enemy doesn't have them; relying on torches makes them moving targets. We can hide around them, constantly shooting and using pack-of-wolves tactics to slowly bleed them."
"Makes sense," Luo Zheng's eyes lit up, smiling. "Good plan."
"Isn't this all your skills I've just reminded you of?" Snow Leopard laughed.
"If the enemy breaks through early, our mission is simple: delay their breakthrough as much as possible and gain ti for everyone to arrive. Second, maximize enemy casualties, and when there are many wounded, let see how they escape," Luo Zheng said fiercely.
"Yes," Snow Leopard readily agreed, looking at his n and continuing to shout, "Did everyone hear that?"
"Yes!" everyone shouted in unison, full of high morale.
Everyone readied themselves for battle, patiently waiting. In less than ten minutes, Lan Xue arrived with Hong ihua, quickly finding a place to hide and made a shooting hole like the others. Luo Zheng glanced at the excited Hong ihua and instructed Lan Xue beside him, "Xue Er, keep an eye on her."
"Understood, be careful yourself," Lan Xue looked at Hong ihua, knowingly agreed, crouched over, and moved over.
"Not good, the enemy is coming," Snow Leopard suddenly shouted.
Luo Zheng raised his binoculars and indeed saw the enemy starting to move. His face darkened, and he quickly shouted through the earpiece, "Ghost Hand, Mountain Eagle, are the enemies moving out completely?"
Shortly, Mountain Eagle's urgent voice shouted, "That's right, these bastards are trying to run. We've not co here in vain; what should we do next?"
"You're too far; quickly move towards , Ghost Hand, the situation has changed. You, too," Luo Zheng said seriously, the battlefield changing rapidly; one could only adjust tactics based on the enemy's movents. If the enemy hid in the valley, they could be ambushed from behind. Now that the enemy was trying to break through, the tactics had to change.
"Understood," Ghost Hand said bitterly. After getting closer, once they cleared the mines in front, they could circle around to attack the enemy from behind. But now the enemy was trying to escape, so they hurriedly withdrew in anger with his n.
Luo Zheng stared coldly at the approaching enemy troops. The front had about a platoon leading, followed by a company, and even more behind, making a triangular formation.
