Luo Zheng noticed that many people were coming out of certain rooms, guessing they were barracks, aid, and quickly pulled the trigger.
The enemies reacted promptly, swiftly taking cover upon realizing they were being ambushed. The patrol fired back, but fell under Ghost Hand and Snow Leopard's precise shots, taking down several, then hid. anwhile, the building hit by the armor-piercing incendiary bomb began to burn, emitting black smoke.
The ambushed base plunged into chaos, the gunfire echoed throughout the valley, spreading far in the night. Soon after, Luo Zheng noticed a soldier preparing to fire an RPG, recalling Da Pingzi's explosive demise, his face tightened, quickly adjusted his aim, and pulled the trigger without hesitation.
"Whiz!" The armor-piercing incendiary bomb ferociously shot out, accompanied by Luo Zheng's violent murderous aura, with a devastating laugh akin to Death God's roar. In an instant, it buried into the target's chest, blasting the body open, blood spraying wildly, covering the ground. The flammable agent exploded, splattering everywhere, and quickly igniting those nearby.
Before dying, the target nervously pulled the trigger, the RPG dropped to the ground, but the rocket fired, striking a building, causing a colossal explosion that instantly collapsed the structure, burying everyone hidden nearby alive. Witnessing this, Luo Zheng shouted with satisfaction and continued aiming at targets for the kill.
A string of explosions followed, all the snowmobiles were destroyed, and the last remaining truck was hit on the cab by an armor-piercing incendiary bomb, catching fire, no longer operable. Luo Zheng felt elated, rapidly assessed the battlefield situation, as the enemies, taking cover in rooms, returned fire, while the patrol outside retreated under cover with no safe positions to hold.
Without transportation, the enemy forces were no longer a concern, this ambush would definitely attract their attention, it wouldn't be long before reinforcents arrive and encircle. It's imperative to retreat before dawn approaches, Luo Zheng urgently instructed, "Withdraw!"
"Yes." Everyone responded to the command and turned around to run.
While running, Luo Zheng shouted through his earpiece, "Lan Xing, what's the status of the action team? Plan a safe route imdiately, target, State Preceptor's hideout, hurry."
"The action team is still concealed, head ten kiloters east first and evaluate enemy response after that," Lan Xing quickly reported.

Luckily, the whole day's rest had considerably restored everyone's stamina, enduring this high-intensity forced march withdrawal.
After five kiloters, they continued east, under Lan Xing's guidance, avoiding the encroaching blockade, advancing with rapid route adjustnts. The further they went, the milder the climate beca, with less snow, unbeknownst to them, the night passed.

Soon, Snow Leopard erged saying, "No one else inside the house."
Mountain Eagle carried the youth into the room, tossing him onto an inner room bed, Ghost Hand swiftly drew a military knife to slit the wolfdog's throat, dragging it to the nearby well to gut. Everyone exhausted and famished, urgently needing food replenishnt, harboring no courtesy.
Luo Zheng and Lan Xue entered the house, surveyed around, finding it a simple household without any valuables, though cured at hung from the beams. Luo Zheng hurried into the kitchen, found hot water, imdiately poured a large cup, bringing it out to Lan Xue. Lan Xue gratefully smiled lightly, accepted it and drank, the hot water soothing her instantly.
"Prepare food quickly," Luo Zheng requested Snow Leopard and Mountain Eagle.
"Got it." The two nodded understandingly, rummaging around, soon locating rice and vegetables, while Luo Zheng checked outside from the window. This household lived separately, a distance from others, as early morning everyone was busy with breakfast, no visitation occurring. So long as nobody stepped out, exposure was unlikely, everything could wait until they had eaten and resettled. Having survived on dry rations these past days, everyone felt physically strained.
Half an hour later, a large pot of stead rice and boiled dog at was cooked, everyone feasted and devoured, exhausted from hunger. After eating seventy percent full, they paused, knowing overeating after prolonged hunger was harmful, sipping so hot water, resting. Mountain Eagle even returned inside to deliver another strike to the unconscious hoowner to ensure he remained down.
With food in the stomach and hot water drunk, everyone felt much better, turning to Luo Zheng, Lan Xue inquiring, "Ahead are inhabited areas, what's the next move?"
