The eerie eyes of the State Preceptor instinctively alerted Luo Zheng to danger. He vigorously tossed the State Preceptor three or four ters away, landing heavily on the ground. A black venomous snake fell from the State Preceptor's body. Seeing this snake, Luo Zheng instinctively retreated two steps, raised his gun, and aid it. At that mont, Luo Zheng noticed the snake did not attack but rushed towards the State Preceptor, swiftly climbing onto him, like an abandoned child finding its family, thus not launching any attack.
Luo Zheng knew this venomous snake was fed by the State Preceptor. The snakes reared by such secret techniques wouldn't attack their masters, and even if they did, it wouldn't be problematic as there is an antidote, or else the State Preceptor would have died many tis over. Luo Zheng aid the gun at the State Preceptor and coldly said, "Drop the snake and co with ."
"That's impossible, might as well kill ," the State Preceptor replied coldly, aware of the consequences of following Luo Zheng, knowing it's a matter of life and death, preferring to die there with a good na.
"You don't have a choice." Luo Zheng coldly said, quickly removing his coat and lunging at the State Preceptor. The thick winter coat wouldn't be easily bitten by the snake and could block the venomous mist. Capturing snakes was not difficult for Luo Zheng, who ca from a hunter's background.
At this mont, the State Preceptor pursed his lips, emitting a strange sound. Suddenly, the snake raised its head and coldly observed its surroundings, quickly locking onto Luo Zheng, and darted towards him, spraying a cloud of black mist from its mouth.
Luo Zheng was prepared and threw the thick coat over, blocking not only the mist but also the snake. The snake fell with the coat to the ground, and Luo Zheng quickly dashed forward, crushing the snake under his explosion-proof military boots and pressing down firmly with another foot aiding the effort.
The State Preceptor, his face grey, looked at Luo Zheng and couldn't resist any longer. He slowly got up, sitting on the ground while Luo Zheng vigilantly watched him, crouching slowly and wrapping the snake with his coat, directly twisting it apart and tossing it aside, secretly breathing a sigh of relief.
"Quick, enemy reinforcents have arrived," Lan Xing's warning sounded through the earpiece.
According to the original plan, everyone directly attacked the target and completed the attack and withdrawal within ten seconds. However, Luo Zheng changed his mind, turning the attack into a capture, delaying over a minute, giving the enemy enough ti to react. Luo Zheng stood up and swiftly knocked the State Preceptor unconscious with a hand chop, carrying him and sprinting away.
Everyone jumped off the rooftop to retreat. Hei Shi drove up for pickup, and everyone quickly got into the car. Seeing the captured State Preceptor, they were overjoyed, all giving Luo Zheng a thumbs-up. Seeing countless pursuers rushing from the back gate of the palace, Hei Shi's face sank as he drove off furiously.
The pursuers relentlessly pursued. Hei Shi's driving skills were impressive, driving the car swiftly, familiar with the road, occasionally taking shortcuts. The road was empty, and Luo Zheng saw the pursuers closely following, his face turning cold, giving Mountain Eagle in the backseat a look. Mountain Eagle nodded in understanding, quickly setting up the sniper rifle. Ghost Hand raised his hand, smashing the rear window with a pistol, saying to Mountain Eagle, "Brother, show them a few tricks."
"No problem." Mountain Eagle answered calmly, aiming at the pursuing enemy. The car's speed made aiming difficult, but Mountain Eagle remained patient, focusing on judging the enemy's car route, quickly pulling the trigger after locking onto the foremost car.
"Whoosh!" The sniper bullet roared out of the chamber, carrying everyone's expectations and anger, shooting out fiercely, crashing into the hood of the first pursuing car, causing it to soar into the air, flipping forward and landing heavily on the ground, sliding far forward, with the cars behind braking to slow down and dodge.
"Whoosh!" Mountain Eagle fired another shot. The enemy's slower speed made aiming easier. This shot blew up a small car, causing it to flip sideways and slide far away.
"Nicely done," Ghost Hand exclaid excitedly.
"Switch clothing, stash the weapons, Snow Leopard, tie up the target and gag him," Luo Zheng saw the enemy wouldn't catch them temporarily, estimating they were near the campus. Imdiately, he reminded everyone while taking off the coat, revealing the student uniform underneath, quickly dismantling the weapons and stashing them in the bag, then putting on a silicone mask.
Hei Shi calmly drove quickly, daring not to be careless, swiftly passing through an alley. Ahead, the field of vision widened slightly, revealing a large teaching building. The campus was bustling and brightly lit at seven o'clock, filled with moving silhouettes, with many people gathered at the entrance.
Hei Shi skillfully drove to the side entrance, rushing into the underground parking lot and parking the car. Everyone stepped off the car with their weapon bags. Luo Zheng carried the tied-up State Preceptor and hurried to another car, opening the trunk, taking out a bag, placing the State Preceptor in it, tying the mouth shut, poking a hole for ventilation, then putting the weapon bag inside, restraining the State Preceptor from moving, and closing the trunk.
The car was pre-arranged to store weapons, and now it contained the State Preceptor. Fortunately, the trunk was large enough to fit snugly. The underground garage's surveillance was already controlled by Lan Xing, so there's no worry about being spotted. At this mont, Lan Xing's warning ca through the earpiece, stating the enemy had already sealed the campus.
Luo Zheng glanced at the trunk. The State Preceptor was tied up, gagged, unable to move or call for help, more so being unconscious, wouldn't wake for hours, not a concern. He gave Ghost Hand a glance, who understood and took out a grenade, and everyone quickly evacuated.
Ghost Hand threw the grenade into the previous car's fuel tank, quickly catching up. Just as everyone walked into the steps, a loud explosion sounded. The car was blown up, bursting into flas, burning all the evidence clean, including the changed clothes and fingerprints. Everyone hurriedly dashed upstairs.
Soon, they reached the ground level, opened the door, and saw the lobby. Hei Shi skillfully led everyone through the lobby towards the outside square. The square was crowded with students curiously watching the mass of troops gathered outside the school gate, whispering among themselves.
The school being surrounded was anticipated. Luo Zheng gave everyone a look, and they knowingly proceeded forward. Having bombed the palace and captured the target, escaping safely was crucial. Once they escaped, returning to retrieve the State Preceptor could be arranged later, ensuring mission success.
Everyone skittishly scanned their surroundings. Wearing school uniforms, silicone masks, student ID cards, without any battle marks, the weapons left in the car. If escape was impossible, they'd fight desperately. Gradually, they spread out, centering around Luo Zheng, moving forward.
Lan Xue quickened her pace, taking Luo Zheng's arm, resembling a couple. Such scenes were common, facilitating concealnt. Unknowingly, they neared the campus gate, observing it under strict guard, with more troops arriving. Luo Zheng's face turned solemn, cautiously watching the surroundings, pondering a secondary escape plan as a contingency.
