At any ti and place, Luo Zheng would familiarize himself with the surrounding terrain first and think of retreat routes. It's a habit developed over years of combat. The campus is already surrounded and a forced breakthrough is impossible. If worst cos to worst, they may have to retrieve weapons and take hostages. Soldiers can die in battle but will never surrender.
Luo Zheng cautiously observed his surroundings for a while, then quickly walked over to Hei Shi, signaling him to stop and asked in a lowered voice, "If we can't break through, we'll have to take hostages. Do you know who's of the most value here?"
"Of course, this is the top institution in Yin Country, ho to the children of dignitaries." Hei Shi replied quietly.
Luo Zheng was relieved, glanced around, and noticed that the military was starting to clear people out with the assistance of the police. Perhaps they were worried that rushing in might injure innocent people. Upon seeing this, Luo Zheng was overjoyed—this was exactly the situation he had been waiting for. He quickly signaled to the team, and everyone nodded in agreent, moving towards the main gate.
The students did not know what had happened but sensed sothing was wrong, seeing the fierce policen and ard military forces. They cooperated and lined up for inspections as directed by the police. So personnel were checking student IDs with equipnt, confirming them quickly. A well-equipped Special Forces unit had also charged into the campus, which made the students nervous and sowhat chaotic.
Luo Zheng and the others were already near the campus gate and squeezed to the front before others could catch up. They advanced with the crowd and soon reached the inspection point. Luo Zheng showed his badge, and the police conducting the inspection beca tense upon seeing he was of Yellow Race, and carefully scanned him with the device. Another officer beside him was carrying a laptop, which popped up with the student's file. The officer checked the photo and impatiently let him pass once it matched.
Passing through the cordon, Luo Zheng followed the police's directive to the other side and waited. It wasn't long before he saw the team being checked out one by one and regrouping for evacuation. Luo Zheng told Hei Shi, "The embassy is definitely under surveillance. We can't go back. Change the plan; head to the safe house."
"Understood." Hei Shi responded, looked around, and quickly spotted a parked business van in the distance. He signaled everyone to follow, and soon they arrived at the van. Hei Shi took out the keys, opened the door, jumped into the driver's seat, and everyone settled in. Hei Shi started the vehicle and drove away.
Just then, a black sedan sped toward them with the police siren on. Luo Zheng took a cautious glance and noticed soone familiar sitting in the back. Startled, he quickly turned his face to avoid alerting the other party. After careful thought, he felt the person resembled Jackson, causing him to smirk coldly.
"What's wrong?" Lan Xue, with keen observation, noticed Luo Zheng's change and curiously asked.
"Just saw Jackson passing by." Luo Zheng casually replied.
"He might have realized the flaws in the search, but it's too late now." Lan Xue said coldly.
"Hei Shi, did you students not collect fingerprints or skull data?" Ghost Hand chid in.
"No, only the file and a photo." Hei Shi replied while driving.
"Then Jackson's presence is useless. He could, at most, demand additional data for verification, such as fingerprints or skull recognition. But without this database, he has no choice. Even if we were still in the campus, we could have gotten out. This is Yin Country, not Sam Country. Speaking of which, does anyone know about Sam Country's school managent asures? Do they collect fingerprints or anything?" Ghost Hand said with a chuckle.
"I don't know. How about you send to study, and I'll tell you then." Snow Leopard jokingly said.
Everyone laughed, successfully evacuating the campus greatly lifted their spirits. Luo Zheng felt fortunate for having escaped. If he had been just a bit slower, given Jackson's sharp eyes, he might have seen through the disguise even without fingerprints or skull recognition; sotis recognizing soone by intuition is more accurate.
"No matter what, everyone's out, and that's a good thing. The enemy might still think we are lurking sowhere on campus. Hei Shi, increase the speed. You've greatly accomplished this ti, and I'll report your contribution accurately. When we return, I'll treat you to a drink." Luo Zheng said joyfully.
"Thank you, leader. It was your thorough planning; I was just a runner, tagging along for so credit. When we return, I'll treat everyone to a drink, hoping you all can honor ." Hei Shi said happily, "From what I know about Yin Country's military, they'll inspect everyone, which will probably take about two days. With tens of thousands of students on campus, it'll be tough to check everyone one by one."
"Is the military in Yin Country that powerful?" Ghost Hand curiously asked.
"Certainly, very strong." Hei Shi replied seriously.
Everyone chatted casually, relaxing their tense emotions after the battle. Unknowingly, they arrived at a wealthy district. Hei Shi pointed to the surrounding villa cluster and said, "This place gathers almost all the top millionaires living in Yin Country's capital. They all have private bodyguards, and even the military wouldn't dare to conduct inspections here. Hiding here won't be much of an issue."
"It's a good place." Luo Zheng said, looking at the green mountains and trees. This sort of place is good for concealing and retreating. If necessary, they could even take dignitaries hostage. Having the safe house arranged here is rather ingenious. With this thought, Luo Zheng secretly felt at ease.
The business van stopped in front of a small villa. Everyone got out, and Hei Shi took out a smart key card to unlock the door. The iron gate required a password, but thankfully, Hei Shi knew it. The iron gate opened, and everyone entered the living room while Hei Shi went to park inside the garage.
Everyone sat down on the living room sofa. Since it was a safe house, the interior decoration was simple but exuded a lively atmosphere; it was clearly a residential villa. Such an arrangent wouldn't raise suspicion. It wasn't long before Hei Shi ca running back and said to everyone, "The kitchen is stocked with food and daily necessities, enough for us to live here for a week. I'll whip up so late-night snacks."
"Alright, thank you for your effort. With such major events happening, the campus won't open temporarily. Let those few students continue staying in the embassy. After dinner, make a trip to deliver clothes and docunts back to them, reminding them not to let out any information." Luo Zheng earnestly instructed.
"Don't worry, they're not foolish. Saying anything would bring them no benefits. By the way, I'm a Level 3 chef, and soon you'll taste my culinary skills." Hei Shi complied and walked toward the kitchen.
"That sounds great! We'll be in for a treat the coming days, but it'll be tiring for you." Ghost Hand said with a smile.
Hei Shi smiled in reply. Everyone looked at Luo Zheng as the task was basically completed; they were just waiting for Yin Country's military to retreat so they could reclaim the State Preceptor. Lan Xue's face gradually turned stern and said, "The State Preceptor didn't leave the campus. Yin Country will surely find and inspect. What do we do?"
Having painstakingly captured the State Preceptor, if the enemy saves him back, it would all be for nothing. Everyone looked gravely at Luo Zheng, hoping he would perform another miracle.
