On a pitch-black stormy night, you couldn't see your hand in front of your face. The faint lights in the campsite seed so helpless under the rain, as if they could be extinguished at any mont. The dim yellow light was obscured by the rain and didn't illuminate much. The dark tents were packed closely together, so of them lit, where people were gambling. On this stormy night, no one ventured out, nor did anyone notice Luo Zheng and his companions lurking near the cave.

After confirming the action plan, Luo Zheng quickly made several hand gestures to Ghost Hand and then crawled toward the cave. Ghost Hand understood and followed closely. The two approached the cave entrance like stealthy pythons, their eyes cold and sharp as knife blades, unusually bright in the stormy night.

In a short while, the three of them crawled to the cave entrance, lying flat on the ground to carefully observe. There were people at the entrance speaking softly, sounding like two individuals. Luo Zheng wasn't assured and signaled Ghost Hand behind him to wait while he crawled forward a bit, letting the rain hit his body and slide down his forehead.

Struggling to open his eyes to prevent rain from obstructing his vision, Luo Zheng saw four guards at the cave entrance. Two were speaking softly, while the other two rested with closed eyes. Looking toward the campsite, aside from the patrol team carelessly wandering around, no figures could be seen. Luo Zheng, delighted, imdiately drew his military knife and looked back.

Ghost Hand nodded knowingly and also drew his knife, crawling upward. The two climbed above the cave entrance. Luo Zheng made several hand signals indicating for Ghost Hand to attack from one side while he attacked from the other. Ghost Hand understood and quickly crawled up, hunched and swiftly maneuvering toward the cave entrance.

Luo Zheng also moved up, gripping his knife tightly, his gaze cold and murderous. With the rain as cover, he quickly reached the cave entrance, seeing Ghost Hand was also in position. He kicked forcefully off the ground, lunging forward like lightning. A large hand covered one enemy's mouth while the other hand, holding a reverse-grip knife, reached for the target's throat and swiftly pulled back.

With a ripping sound, the target's neck was slit, creating a large gash, and blood gushed out prolifically. After striking, Luo Zheng twirled the knife in his palm, changing to a proper grip, and dashed toward another target's neck, drawing a bizarre arc. The opponent, caught off-guard, was instantly slashed at the throat, instinctively clutched the wound, gasping for breath. Sadly, no sound erged, only causing the blood to flow faster.

Almost simultaneously, Ghost Hand made his move, eliminating two napping enemies silently. The four enemies were quietly dispatched. Luo Zheng coldly turned his head to glance toward the campsite. The patrol team hadn't noticed the disturbance and continued heading in the opposite direction, appearing blurry under the dim light.

Luo Zheng discarded the removed enemies, throwing them over the cliff outside the cave. Ghost Hand also unceremoniously disposed of the other bodies over the cliff. Seeing Luo Zheng already walking toward the cavern, Ghost Hand quickly followed. Cautiously, they advanced five or six ters, where a flat area appeared before the cliff. Turning a corner led further to the cave interior, which was illuminated.

At this mont, three wounded soldiers shuffled out from inside, looking half-asleep. Luo Zheng quickly signaled Ghost Hand, both retreating a few steps, hiding at the cave bend to continue observing. Discovering these three arrived at the platform, heading straight to the cliff edge for convenience.

Luo Zheng coldly watched the three wounded soldiers, all bandaged, planning to wait till they returned inside the cavern. Suddenly, an idea sparked, to use a clever plan, signaling Ghost Hand for silent combat resolution. Ghost Hand understood, and the two of them charged forward like leopards, each gripping their target's mouth tightly, swiftly slashing the target's throat with lightning precision, delivering a fatal blow, then quickly dragging them backward.

Ghost Hand was puzzled by Luo Zheng's intent but followed suit nonetheless. The two dragged their targets to the cave bend. Luo Zheng quickly dismantled the bandages from one target and removed his outerwear. Ghost Hand realized the plan, excitedly tearing bandages off his target's hands, seeing Luo Zheng wrapping the bandages around his head, imitated the action.

Quickly, both wrapped the blood-stained bandages around their heads, leaving only one eye exposed, the bandages encasing their entire heads so well that it was difficult to recognize them. After switching to their targets' clothing, it beca even harder to distinguish. Once finished, they directly discarded the target over the cave's edge.

The two exchanged a glance, nodding in understanding, mutually inspecting their disguises. Confirming no issues, they boldly proceeded toward the cavern, feigning enemy appearance. Upon entering, they discovered it was much wider inside, a natural cavern approximately the size of two football fields, with a height of about ten ters. The cavern top's hanging rocks showed traces of man-made destruction, and the walls exhibited signs of human activity, though not very obvious.

The cavern was brightly lit. Many wooden bunk beds were positioned openly, filled with wounded soldiers, anguishing in pain. So doctors in white coats and masks were treating the soldiers. Aside from the wounded and doctors, there were no ard personnel spotted inside the cavern.

Upon seeing this scene, the two were pleased, exchanging a look, descending the steps. Soon, they reached the lower part of the cavern, where so wounded soldiers were gambling, perhaps due to boredom. Upon noticing a diesel generator in the corner, humming loudly, Luo Zheng imdiately understood why there was electric lighting in such a desolate place.

Nurous doctors attending to the patients, with masks on, were difficult to distinguish. Luo Zheng briefly scanned the area, and gestured to Ghost Hand, who nodded, the two spreading out. Casually roaming to appear inconspicuous, discreetly moving toward the doctors' location.

After so observation, Luo Zheng identified three Western doctors, their blue eyes revealing their identity despite the masks. Continuing his search, suddenly he noticed two Yellow Race doctors conversing quietly about a patient's condition, using the Huaxia language.

Luo Zheng was delighted, slowly drawing closer. One doctor suspiciously glanced at Luo Zheng, uttering sothing in awkward local dialect. Unfortunately, Luo Zheng couldn't understand, it seed as though he was being told not to disturb them. Considering these doctors had been here for three years, they likely had learned so of the local language, which wasn't surprising, he continued moving forward.

The other doctor also noticed Luo Zheng approaching, exchanged glances with his companion, eyes growing wary, and both regarded Luo Zheng without words. Luo Zheng checked surroundings, confirming no attention on him, suddenly lowered his voice, saying: "I'm one of us, here to rescue you."

"You?" One doctor was so startled he almost exclaid aloud, hurriedly covering his mouth, eyes filled with disbelief, staring at Luo Zheng, fearing he'd misheard.
