The dim cave was filled with injured soldiers groaning in pain. The roar of the diesel engine added to the din, while the air was thick with the sll of disinfectant and blood. dical conditions were extrely poor, and the wounded dared not hope for survival. So complained about their fate, so tried to find joy in the mont, and others lanted pessimistically. There was no guard, much less anyone noticing Luo Zheng and Ghost Hand.

Luo Zheng observed the increasingly agitated doctor, who seed to be trembling slightly. He gave the doctor a curious once-over and continued in a low voice, "Is there a problem?"

"No, you are...?" The doctor heard clearly this ti, recognized the accent as from ho, and excitedly replied. Tears glistened in his eyes as he was about to say more but saw Luo Zheng raise a finger for silence. The doctor nodded in understanding, but tears rolled down anyway. Perhaps he had already given up hope of going back and never expected that soone would co for a rescue three years later?

Luo Zheng looked around cautiously. None of the wounded seed to notice them, which was a relief. He whispered again, "Where is Yu Xin?"

"Yu Xin?" The doctor looked at Luo Zheng in surprise, his eyes filling with a mix of grief and anger.

"What happened to her?" Luo Zheng asked urgently, shocked and growing tense.

"She's not here anymore," the doctor painfully explained. Seeing Luo Zheng's eyes grow cold, he sighed helplessly and murmured, "A week ago, Hariri sent people to take Dr. Zhong Hai away. Yu Xin, as his assistant, went along to help with so dical issues and hasn't returned since. The details are unclear."

"Bastard!" Luo Zheng fud instantly. After finally infiltrating this place and seeing a glimr of hope for rescue, the targets were gone. Ghost Hand would certainly go mad upon learning this news. He cautiously scanned the surroundings and made a subtle hand signal to Ghost Hand, indicating for him to co over.

"Did the state send you?" The doctor eagerly continued to ask.

"Yes. Quickly tell everyone to pack up. Take any dry food if you can, if not, it's okay. Don't bring anything else. Get ready to move lightly. We start retreating in three minutes. Move casually toward the cave entrance without making any noise or panic. Understand?" Luo Zheng instructed in a low voice, his eyes warily scanning around, relieved that the wounded hadn't noticed them.

"Okay," the doctor replied joyfully. He then instructed another nearby doctor, "We need to inform everyone quickly but discreetly. Rember what he just said."

The colleague acknowledged quietly and swiftly left. The doctor, still excited and wanting to say more to Luo Zheng, was interrupted by him, "You go too. Hurry up, we don't have much ti left."

"Alright," the doctor replied softly and hurried off.

Luo Zheng surveyed the area cautiously. The soldiers were ard, which posed a big problem. If they were exposed, there would be casualties. He and Ghost Hand found a less crowded spot. Luo Zheng whispered, "On my command, sever the diesel engine circuit, seize weapons, and guard the cave exit. Understand?"

"Got it," Ghost Hand agreed in a low voice, his eyes constantly scanning around.

Luo Zheng knew that Ghost Hand was searching for Yu Xin. He couldn't bear to tell Ghost Hand the truth, at least not before they rescued the dical team, to avoid affecting morale. Everything would be explained later. Luo Zheng gestured for Ghost Hand to leave and continued observing the cave with caution, not finding the relatives Madela was looking for, probably because they weren't here. At the mont, the priority was to rescue as many as possible, as there might not be another such opportunity.

A couple of minutes later, Luo Zheng saw doctors starting to move toward the cave exit one by one, pretending to be nonchalant. They showed quite decent composure, likely having developed it over three years of captivity here with the ard forces. He was relieved that so long as the doctors stayed calm, it would be much easier to handle the situation.

More doctors headed toward the cave entrance, and so began to step outside. A few of the wounded noticed but didn't make a fuss. Perhaps they thought that with the camp outside, the chances of escape were slim. After a while, even the white doctors joined in, which didn't bother Luo Zheng. He continued to watch his surroundings vigilantly.

At that mont, a wounded man wobbled to his feet and started heading out of the cave. A male doctor went up to support him, whispered sothing, and they both walked out together. Luo Zheng watched the doctor suspiciously. The man seed to be in his thirties, well-built and strong, which piqued Luo Zheng's curiosity. Luo Zheng held his position, continuing to survey the area.

After waiting a bit, Luo Zheng saw about a dozen doctors at the cave entrance, moving out. He joined them at the entrance just in ti to see the male doctor pull a scalpel from his pocket and swiftly cut the wounded man's throat, sending a spray of blood arching out. With a strong push, the doctor sent the man over the edge of the platform into the abyss.

"Eh?" Luo Zheng regarded this male doctor in surprise. He hadn't expected such a fierce character among the dical team, and he couldn't help but smile. Despite the doctor's lack of professional skill, his knowledge of where to cut the blood vessels was spot on; the opponent wouldn't survive a severed artery. Luo Zheng hurried over, pulling off the bandage from his head while calling out softly, "Follow , quickly, stay close to ."

The surrounding doctors hadn't recognized Luo Zheng, mistaking him for one of the wounded. They remained on guard until he tore off the bandage and spoke, after which they reacted with delight and quickly followed his lead. Having reached the cave entrance, they were unconcerned about concealing their identities and moved swiftly forward.

Luo Zheng led the way, soon reaching the cave's mouth. He scanned the nearby camp cautiously and was relieved that the enemies hadn't spotted anything amiss. Speaking through the earpiece, he said, "Ghost Hand, cut the power after the last doctor leaves, then proceed as planned."

"Understood," Ghost Hand responded quietly.

Luo Zheng looked solemn, glancing at the dical team behind him. The dim light made it hard to see their faces, just vague outlines. They were cramped in the cave entrance. If they didn't leave soon, sothing would go wrong. He urged in a low voice, "It's very dark outside, and you can't see in the storm. Everyone, hold hands, follow "

"Okay," the surrounding people answered quietly one by one.

Using a flashlight risked giving away their position, so Luo Zheng used this clumsy thod to lead them out. Holding onto the hand of soone beside him, he started walking forward. Everyone linked hands and followed blindly. It was terribly dark outside, with pouring rain; visibility was extrely low, and they couldn't see the road, relying only on their sense of direction.

Luo Zheng led the way, moving slowly and carefully, concerned that those behind him might not keep up. As a highly skilled soldier, Luo Zheng had excellent night vision and knew how to navigate in such conditions, but the sa couldn't be said for the doctors, whom he had to look after.
