In these extraordinary tis, any commotion can make one nervous. Luo Zheng stared intently at the bald man in disbelief; he was a black man, over six feet tall, with a strong build, dressed in a black trench coat, looking like a successful businessman. His posture was very upright, reminding Luo Zheng of a soldier. His eyes narrowed, and he quietly reached for his pistol. Beside him, Lan Xue also sensed Luo Zheng's tension and reached for her pistol.
At this mont, the bald man reached the area between the business and first class cabins. On one side of this area was a restroom, and on the other side was a work table. A flight attendant politely stood up and murmured a question to the bald man. He pointed to the restroom, and the flight attendant stepped back a few paces in confusion, clearing the way.
The bald man pushed open the restroom door and stepped inside, making Luo Zheng suspicious but cautious. He took a quick glance at his surroundings; passengers were still whispering and laughing, so were sound asleep, everything seed calm, and no suspicious individuals were found. Luo Zheng's gaze scanned the crowd and fell back again on the restroom area.
Not long after, the bald man ca out of the restroom, nodded to the flight attendant, who nodded back with a respectful smile. Suddenly, a cold flash crossed the bald man's face, his eyes narrowed, and from inside his coat, he drew a silent pistol, shooting the attendant point-blank in the forehead. The attendant's body softened and fell to the ground dead.
The sudden change shocked Luo Zheng imnsely. Never did he expect the opponent to resort to violence so blatantly; it was more akin to a terrorist than a special agent. He quickly glanced at Lan Xue, who nodded knowingly, and both were about to rise when they suddenly sensed soone charging from behind. Luo Zheng turned around to see two resolute n rushing down the aisles on both sides, their expressions cold, eyes filled with a chilling aura.
Luo Zheng felt that they weren't coming at him directly, imdiately held back Lan Xue, who was about to rise, and gestured for silence. He watched the two n rush past them headlong towards the first class cabin. Then he looked in that direction: the bald man was wrestling with a flight attendant, and the silent pistol was dropped on the ground, puzzling him. Looking at the flight attendant, he realized she was the sa woman who had been pursuing the man earlier.
From the way she fought, she was no weaker than the bald man. Without the threat of a deadly weapon like the pistol, their grappling went on for a while without either gaining the upper hand. But this gave the other people in first class enough ti to react, and Luo Zheng believed these attendants would protect Lan Bo. Holding the agitated Lan Xue tightly, he gently said, "Don't worry, let's watch and wait."
If the bald man had eliminated the blocking flight attendant and charged directly into first class, he might have succeeded in a surprise attack. But being blocked by another attendant and without a pistol, the situation had subtly changed. Luo Zheng believed these attendants could seize the opportunity and take control.
"Bang!" Suddenly, a gunshot rang out, and the bald man wrestling with the flight attendant was shot in the back, the shot fired from inside the first class cabin. Luo Zheng was shocked but sowhat relieved. Seeing the bald man killed, Lan Xue also cald down and didn't act impulsively.
By now, the other two resolute n had charged up, drawing their pistols and firing at once. The flight attendant fighting the bald man scread ferociously, using his body as a shield and counter-charged the assailant, looking extrely fierce.
Then, a person rushed out from first class; it was the chief purser holding a pistol. He shot twice at another attacker as they exchanged fire at close range, hitting one in the chest while another shot hit the attacker's forehead, killing him instantly.
Luo Zheng watched the scene in shocking disbelief. This chief purser was playing a dangerous ga, but if not for such reckless tactics, they might not have had a chance to win. At least, the situation would have beco more unpredictable. The chief purser fell to the ground, clutching his chest; Luo Zheng keenly noticed there was no bleeding, likely due to wearing a chest protector, and then turned his attention back to the flight attendant.
The flight attendant had already pushed the bald man's body forward, quickly dodging to one side as the assailant fired two more shots in succession. The attacker steadied the falling bald body, aiming again at the flight attendant hiding under the work table, when suddenly another twist occurred. A passenger jumped up from a seat, grabbing the attacker from behind, as a flash of cold steel quickly followed. Next thing, a gush of blood spurted from the attacker's throat.
Everything happened too fast, so fast that many passengers didn't have ti to react before it was all over. They were stunned by the scene, stood up, craned their necks to see, their faces paled, frightened.
Luo Zheng was also bewildered by the dazzling chaos. The flight attendant's involvent was understandable, but who was this passenger who suddenly turned violent? Luo Zheng looked over in astonishnt and saw the person swiftly head towards first class, carrying the body nimbly, with movents indicating expert training.
anwhile, the attendant who had dodged the bullets got up, coldly stepping back to assist the fallen chief purser. Another flight attendant rushed out from first class, lifting the other corpse and heading back in that direction. Luo Zheng saw soone calming the first class passengers as the scene quickly cleared.
"Hiss?" Luo Zheng looked at the scene with a grave expression, sensing Lan Xue's agitation, and lowered his voice to say, "It's over, don't worry."
"Mm." Lan Xue had seen everything that happened and knew the flight attendants had the upper hand, aning her father would be safe. Her excitent gradually stabilized, and she quietly said, "Still, go check, I'm not completely reassured."
"Okay." Luo Zheng agreed, glancing at the surrounding passengers, who were getting noisy, many frightened, with furrowed brows, as he walked towards first class. Soon, a flight attendant ca out to et him, seeing Luo Zheng, hesitated a mont, wanting to stop him but couldn't find a reason. Luo Zheng deliberately said coldly, "Didn't you say it was over? I want you to give all passengers a reasonable explanation, just what is going on here?"
"Yes, what exactly happened?" Other passengers echoed the sa sentint. They were all terrified, and as they recalled prior events, beca even more anxious, desperate to know the truth.
"We need to know the truth, what exactly happened?" More passengers shouted, their emotions running high, and the scene beca slightly chaotic.
The flight attendant frowned slightly, hesitated for a mont, then loudly said, "Passengers, please don't panic. It's truly over now; all the suspects have been apprehended. We had already received notifications that soone might try attacking on the plane, and careful arrangents were made. Because we weren't certain if the opposing side would really act, we didn't inform everyone. Now, the assailants have been subdued by us. There's no need to panic; I assure you everything is fine."
