The high-speed train quickly arrived at the station and slowly ca to a stop. The three people disembarked, moving along with the crowd out of the station. Luo Zheng identified the direction, lowered his voice and said to Little Ma, "Let's go, find a place to observe the terrain around the monorail."
"Understood, follow ." Little Ma responded in a low voice, signaling the two to follow him. They turned several streets and arrived at the entrance of a hostel, which he pointed to with his mouth and said, "This is the tallest building nearby. You can see from the top floor, let's stay here for easier observation."
"Okay, go ahead and arrange it." Luo Zheng glanced at the building, which was more than ten stories high, and agreed. Looking around, he found that the surrounding buildings were indeed not as tall as the high-rise buildings ubiquitous back ho. However, the ecological environnt here was pretty good.
Little Ma quickly completed the check-in procedures. The three went up to the top floor and entered the room. Xia Ma closed the door and went to the window, drawing the curtains open. Luo Zheng went up to look and indeed, they could see the monorail laying across the hilly ground, seeming like a giant dragon lying in deep slumber, with a castle faintly visible in the distance.
Luo Zheng observed the surrounding terrain for a while and asked thoughtfully, "Little Ma, when is the special train expected to arrive here under normal circumstances?"
"It arrives promptly at five in the afternoon at the connection point, and it only takes a few minutes to reach the castle." Little Ma said, glancing out the window with a puzzled expression and a few hints of curiosity in his eyes, then pursued the question, "Have you found the answer? Is there another place you need to check out? There's no road or transport to the castle."
"Can we walk over?" Luo Zheng asked.
"Walking is possible, but you can't get close. There are sentinels about a kiloter from the castle." Little Ma explained.
Luo Zheng gauged the distance; it's a few kiloters from the connection point to the castle. Covering this distance on foot would take so ti, but given the high-speed train's velocity, he pondered and continued asking, "Does the high-speed train need to decelerate after passing the connection point?"
"Yes, without slowing down it's hard to make a smooth turn; it would also slow down when passing that track, roughly to a speed of eighty kiloters per hour. But even at this speed, it's impossible to target the soldiers guarding the exterior of the special train." Little Ma replied.
At speeds exceeding sixty kiloters per hour, it's difficult to aim and shoot, let alone at eighty kiloters per hour. As an outstanding sniper, Luo Zheng naturally understood this. He was surprised and asked, "Did you say soldiers guarding the exterior? What's going on? Are they really planning to station soldiers on alert outside?"
"Of course, each carriage has about ten personnel, five on each side. There is a walkway on both sides of the carriage, which is welded with iron plates, allowing only one person to pass. If it's on a battlefield, we wouldn't have to worry at all, but it's different with a high-speed special train unless it's blown up. The problem is, even if it's blown up, we can't rescue anyone." Lan Xue suddenly chid in.
"Yes, this issue has been considered for a long ti with no solution found. Once, a group hijacked the train, blew up the track and also flipped the special train. They rushed up, and tried to open the doors with an oxygen cutting machine, but couldn't open them, naturally unable to rescue anybody. Less than ten minutes later, ard police arrived by air to help, and twenty minutes later, ground forces also rushed over, encircling the group completely and shooting them all." Little Ma spoke with regret about the past incident.
Luo Zheng was instantly intrigued and pursued, "From where did the ard police co? How about the ground forces? How much ti was needed?"
"The ard police ca from the neighboring city, from the mont they received the alarm, dispatched personnel, to arriving at the scene, ten minutes sufficed. As for the ground forces, one unit is from within the castle, they have a little train that can transport a hundred people at a ti; the little train is their usual mode of transportation. Another unit cos from the neighboring city, it's the counter-terrorist mobile unit and arrived together with helicopters." Little Ma hurriedly explained.
Luo Zheng noticed a map in the hotel room, promptly took it out and spread it open. Little Ma nodded and pointed to a location on the map for him. Luo Zheng examined it closely, staring out the window thoughtfully. Beside him, Lan Xue said with a worried expression, "This is a dead end, there's simply no way out."
"If there's no way out, we won't try to solve it." Luo Zheng suddenly had a flash of insight and spoke excitedly.
"Have you thought of a solution?" Lan Xue knew Luo Zheng well and pursued with understanding, her appearance of worry transforming into excitent, her eyes filled with longing.
"I'll talk about it later." Luo Zheng did not imdiately answer Lan Xue's question and instead focused intently on observing the distant track, remaining silent. Little Ma was curious and wanted to inquire, but seeing Luo Zheng deep in thought, held back his questions, suppressing his curiosity. After a while, Luo Zheng asked, "Is there a way to bring all our people here?"
"If you want to bring both people and weapons, you can only use private cars. The high-speed train will conduct checks, but this will require so ti, at least until tomorrow night to arrive. Is that soon enough?" Little Ma quickly responded.
"It's soon enough. Arrange it imdiately, bring weapons, make sure to arrive by tomorrow night, and by the way, prepare so dinner." Luo Zheng pondered and agreed, since the escort is three days later, arriving on the second night will suffice.
Little Ma agreed and left. Lan Xue followed and, after confirming Little Ma had gone, closed the door and puzzledly looked at Luo Zheng and asked, "Did you intentionally avoid him? Could it be there's an issue with him?"
"No, it's just that this matter is too complex, I don't want him involved to avoid implicating him. Having just us is enough; we'll have him leave the day before the action.
