The formidable enemy was ambushed and successfully killed by the soldiers hiding in underground foxholes, which was within Luo Zheng's expectations. It wasn't that the enemy was too weak, but rather that they were unaware they had entered the battlefield and were a bit careless. The Hummingbird could detect the Hook Tribe's Ard, but failed to notice the concealed soldiers. If the enemy knew they were on the battlefield, they would never make such a fatal mistake.

On the battlefield, even an insignificant mistake can cause irreparable harm. A sudden close-range ambush by a prepared Sniper is a surefire execution. No one can escape, even if the opponent is the formidable Pot Lid Head Special Warfare Group. However, that restrained Sniper made Luo Zheng wary. Choosing restraint while comrades are killed ans the Sniper is either indifferent or adept at emotional control. Luo Zheng believes in the latter; indifferent people can only fight solo and can't integrate into a team.

A Sniper skilled in emotional control is fearso and lethal in this jungle. Luo Zheng dared not let his brothers erge from the foxholes; it would be tantamount to suicide. He took a deep breath, forcing himself to calm down, staring intently into the dense forest ahead, hoping to find clues. But the dense trees and foliage blocked the view, making it impossible to find flaws, which made Luo Zheng worried.

The news of the enemy's ambush will swiftly be relayed by the Sniper, and aerial support will soon arrive. What to do? Next to him, Hook suddenly whispered, "Old friend, let draw them out. Your n are responsible for taking down the target. How does that sound?"

"What thod do you have?" Luo Zheng asked in surprise.

"This thod may be morally compromised; it's not suitable for you, but my n can handle it. Your n might struggle to find the enemy in a short ti. We don't have much ti, and if this drags on, we'll be in a passive position." Hook said anxiously, his eyes full of determination as he looked at Luo Zheng.

"Alright." Luo Zheng didn't understand what Hook planned, but agreed nonetheless. This was Hook's war, and he had the right to decide how to fight. Over the earpiece, he instructed, "Mountain Eagle Team, attention. Hook's n will draw out the enemy; you are responsible for taking them down. Make sure to succeed, and be cautious.

After receiving Luo Zheng's response, Hook spoke through the walkie-talkie, and an ard man at the edge of the open field amongst the woods suddenly rushed out. He looked sowhat injured, with one leg incapacitated, leaning on a stick as he moved forward, carrying an air of determination and indignation.

The ard man voluntarily exposed himself but did not provoke the enemy Sniper's fire as he continued forward. Unknowingly, he approached an enemy, picked up the foe's weapon, cocked the rifle, and glanced toward the dense forest, where the enemy Sniper was hiding. Suddenly, this ard man roared, "Ah—! Bang bang bang!" The steel gun in his hand erupted, firing endless bullets into the corpses on the ground, creating sprays of snowflakes in a surreal twist.

Luo Zheng was shocked upon witnessing this, turning to Hook. Hook smiled bitterly, "Don't look at like that. Do you have any better way to draw out the enemy? Besides, these bastards killed over a hundred of my n; survivors need to vent. I'll handle these morally compromised actions. How many innocents were slaughtered by them in my tribe? What does this matter? As long as it draws out the enemy Sniper, I'm indifferent."

On the battlefield, morality isn't absent but is context-dependent. Luo Zheng sowhat understood Hook's actions, patting Hook's shoulder in solidarity, saying nothing and continuing to watch ahead. The ard man fired into the corpse until the magazine was empty. Realizing the enemy hadn't reacted, he proceeded toward another corpse, picking up a second rifle.

"Roar—bang bang bang!" The ard man roared, sweeping the ground with gunfire, venting his dissatisfaction and anger, akin to a wounded Fierce Beast from ancient tis. At this mont, the injury seed to empower him as he unleashed a wild, frantic aura.

"Whizz!" A sniper rifle shot rang out, and the ard man was hit, sent flying backward like a bent shrimp. Blood poured from his back, while the bullet entered his chest, forming a giant blood-red trumpet flower in the Void, threatening to stain the sky red, terrifyingly.

Heavy on the ground, the ard man gazed widely at the sky, eyes filled with nostalgia and expectations—a longing for life, a desire to hunt the enemy. His face bore tranquility, unmoving, lifeless, his chest bleeding profusely and staining the earth red.

"Target acquired," Mountain Eagle's voice echoed in the earpiece.

"Eliminate him." Luo Zheng was moved by the ard man's tragic, heroic act. To attract the enemy Sniper, he risked his life, even carrying the stigma of desecrating corpses—though death didn't diminish his honor.

"Whizz whizz whizz!" Several sniper shots sounded in the earpiece, followed by Mountain Eagle's angry shout, "The bastard's running. Chase him and take him out." Others responded affirmatively, accompanied by running, panting, and more sniper shots.

After a while, Luo Zheng asked in bewildernt, "What's the situation?"

"Eliminated." Mountain Eagle's voice responded through the earpiece.

"Bring him over," Luo Zheng said coldly. Suddenly hearing the drone's roar, he looked up in shock, discovering two ard helicopters swooping in. His expression shifted; they were here, he commanded, "Prepare for anti-air."

"Understood." Hook also saw the approaching ard helicopters, like angry Death Gods roaring, his expression serious as he quickly called through the walkie-talkie.

Soon, the waiting air defense personnel hoisted RPGs, soone loaded rockets, and everyone began aiming, ready to fire. Luo Zheng coldly watched the helicopters approach; two were manageable with a hundred RPGs here—more than enough to handle them. Yet, Luo Zheng felt inexplicably uneasy, as if endless dangers awaited, alarming him.

"What's wrong?" Lan Xue asked quietly in surprise.

"Sothing feels off." Luo Zheng murmured.

Lan Xue knew Luo Zheng's intuition was exceptionally sharp, her brow furrowing as she suggested quietly, "Should we scatter the troops? What if there are fighter jets or missiles involved?"

"Hard to say. If we eliminate the two helicopters, the enemy will certainly know, likely deploying fighter jets or missile attacks." Luo Zheng's expression turned cold, speaking into the earpiece, "Brothers, disperse if possible. Hook, have other units spread out as much as possible."

"Yes," everyone responded.

"Should the n in the foxholes retreat?" Captain Li reminded.
