The soldiers concealed in the foxholes hadn't received a command yet and continued to stay hidden. Luo Zheng listened to Captain Li's warning but did not imdiately issue a retreat order. Suddenly, a thought flashed in his mind—a plan sowhat bold, sowhat crazy, and with the mindset of a gambler. Luo Zheng couldn't help but be stirred and decided to give it a try. He imdiately shouted, "Brothers in hiding, stay put, conceal yourselves well, and standby. Everyone else, maneuver to the sides into the woods, find a place to hide, watch out for anti-aircraft fire, and act quickly."
"Yes." Everyone replied.
Captain Li didn't understand Luo Zheng's plan, but out of trust, he didn't ask much, waiting by Luo Zheng's side. He sent his troops to retreat swiftly in units, and the scholars and others also withdrew their teams. Shadow, Snow Fox, and Lan Xue stayed, and Hook had other troops scatter and hide. He glanced at the increasingly approaching ard helicopters and hurriedly looked at Luo Zheng.
Luo Zheng remained still, his tiger eyes glared at the ever-approaching helicopters, realizing that as the helicopters flew over open grounds, they headed directly to his concealed position without hesitation. The two helicopters didn't know the reminder they received had increased the lead. Once the helicopters ascended enough to avoid the previous rocket shots, they descended abruptly, nearly vertically, rapidly and with expert piloting skills. As the helicopters descended two fuselage lengths, the ten rockets aid downward arrived just in ti, one accurately hitting the cabin of an ard helicopter. The rotors exploded away, soaring through the sky, fiercely smashing into another helicopter ten ters away.
This helicopter had just evaded the rocket attack, not guarding against the incoming rotors. The cockpit was wrecked, the pilot struck down directly by the rotor, perishing instantly. Without a pilot, the ard helicopter billowed black smoke, flew chaotically, spun, and wobbled downwards, colliding with a large tree before crashing to the ground.
Perhaps the tree absorbed part of the impact; the helicopter didn't explode upon crashing. Luo Zheng watched in shock, exhaling deeply, while beside him, Hook excitedly shouted, "Success, amazing."
"Good luck indeed," Captain Li chuckled.
"Yes, good luck." Luo Zheng echoed with lingering fear. The ard helicopters were prepared, anticipating rockets. If he hadn't acted on a sudden idea, having forty people cover four directions, just hitting one enemy aircraft, it would've been troubleso. Once the helicopter recovered, a button press was enough to level the hilltop, and everyone would perish.
No matter what, they won, albeit thrillingly. Luo Zheng joyfully looked at Snow Fox and said, "Brother, could you take a few people to check the helicopter?"
"No problem," Snow Fox agreed, taking so people over.
"Enemy missiles or fighter jets are coming soon, what next?" Lan Xue reminded.
"No need to rush. Our people are dispersed; the enemy won't use missiles for just dozens of people. They'll likely send reconnaissance drones, then bombers. Upon seeing our distribution, bombers may not engage, sending ard helicopters and ground troops instead." Luo Zheng coldly analyzed.
"Makes sense. You plan to battle the enemy here?" Captain Li realized imdiately, asking.
"Any problem?" Luo Zheng countered.
"None, you're in charge," Captain Li laughed, eager, ready to fight.
"Hook, imdiately split your people in half, conceal on both sides of the open woods, camouflage well, disperse as much as possible, position at intervals, guard the heights, and crucial paths, keep numbers at each point small; you decide, you know your troops best. But, each group must be over 300 ters apart, avoiding missile detection." Luo Zheng carefully instructed.
"Understood." Hook acknowledged, glancing at the anti-aircraft forces, asking, "What about them?"
"They wait for a mont, you deliver orders first." Luo Zheng promptly said.
Hook swiftly complied and hurried off to deliver orders. Luo Zheng glanced at the anti-aircraft forces, looked towards Captain Li and others, his expression turning serious as he said, "I'm planning to settle scores with the enemy here, hope for everyone's support."
"Tell us what to do," Captain Li enthusiastically said, others chiming in, eager to engage.
"Hold on, a mont," Luo Zheng gratefully stated, while asking via earpiece, "Snow Fox, what's the situation?"
"The people are dead, the ammunition intact, there's even a Minigun, a fantastic weapon, but the helicopter is wrecked, unusable." Snow Fox quickly replied.
"Great news, everyone hear the command," Luo Zheng's eyes lit up, exclaiming excitedly, his tiger eyes brimming with confidence, unleashing endless murderous intent.
