After office hours, in a corner of the outdoor café in the departure hall of the dostic airport, Luo Zheng and Shi Feng, who had changed into civilian clothes, sat in an inconspicuous corner. Both had done so simple disguising, wearing baseball caps and large sunglasses, making them hard to recognize. They casually chatted, quietly observing their surroundings. With earphones on, the earphone wires plugged into their phones, they appeared to be fashionable youngsters listening to music, but in reality, the earphones continuously reported updates from others.
The airport was ticulously monitored by Shi Feng, with several dozen people covering almost every corner, all disguised as ordinary citizens picking up soone, including both n and won, making them unobtrusive in the airport hall. Even the cleaning staff and security personnel were replaced by detectives from the serious cri unit, ensuring no one could tamper with the high vantage points.
Shi Feng, with over ten years of experience as a seasoned criminal detective and a military background in the Special Forces, had organized the surveillance ticulously, described as impregnable. With about half an hour before the plane landed, Luo Zheng and Shi Feng chatted, discussing the surveillance thods used by the police. Shi Feng shared his knowledge without reservation, speaking softly. As Luo Zheng listened, he carefully observed the surrounding crowd. The citizens who ca to pick soone up shared a common trait: they either stared at the electronic screen for incoming flight information or fixed their gaze on the exits. Their focus was very clear, and such people could be overlooked. Luo Zheng specifically searched for those observing the surroundings, finding them suspicious.
After a dozen minutes, no suspicious points were found, even the professional detectives from the serious cri unit didn't spot anything. There were only two possibilities: either the other side was deeply hidden or hadn't arrived yet. Luo Zheng believed the forr, and his spirits were heightened. It would take a master to evade the detectives' eyes.
"Where could the opponent be hiding?" Luo Zheng wondered as he observed, finding nothing unusual. Unknowingly, the ti for the plane's arrival approached, and Shi Feng glanced at Luo Zheng and whispered, "No discoveries yet, do you have any ideas?"

"Don't rush, have them leave by car imdiately without lingering," Luo Zheng quickly said, sensing sothing off, quietly preparing and searching the surrounding crowd with tiger-like eyes.
At this mont, a cleaning staff pushed a garbage cart by, seemingly to collect trash. Luo Zheng had noticed this person thirty minutes ago, and now they appeared again, which was odd. Trash collection should follow a schedule, such as every thirty minutes or hourly, but this every twenty minutes seed unusual and raised suspicions. He quickly whispered, "The cleaning cart is suspicious, be alert."
Shi Feng also saw the cleaning cart but hadn't noticed any irregularities, giving Luo Zheng a puzzled glance before fixing his attention on the cleaning staff. It's a woman, not appearing unusual, but he beca cautious, ordering everyone to beware. Suddenly, the cleaner drew a handgun from the bag and fired at the fishern.
"Thud!" The sound was faint and imperceptible, equipped with a suppressor, avoiding chaos. However, the escort police had been alerted and ntally prepared. Upon observing the opponent drawing a gun, one officer swiftly tackled the fishern to the ground, as another rapidly drew his gun and fired at the cleaning staff.
"Bang!" The gunshot from the officer was loud, frightening the surrounding crowd, causing panic and scattering.
Shi Feng witnessed the scene, his face turning grim for an assassination attempt happening under his nose. Simultaneously, he felt relieved that Luo Zheng had issued warning beforehand; otherwise, the escort police being prepared prevented a major incident. Observing the cleaning staff getting shot in the chest and falling stiffly backward, he secretly exhaled a sigh of relief and gratefully glanced at Luo Zheng, saying, "Let's go over and have a look."
"Don't rush, everyone stay put, maintain positions, and keenly observe for hidden threats within the crowd. If suspicious targets are detected, don't await instructions, fire directly, aiming to injure," Luo Zheng quickly instructed, holding back Shi Feng who was about to rise. Luo Zheng might not match Shi Feng in organizing such operations, but he excelled in combat with Special Agents.
Shi Feng acknowledged Luo Zheng's capabilities, choosing trust without reservation and reiterated his directives. At this point, one of the officers who fired hurriedly approached to check on the cleaning staff's condition, while the escort officer helped the fishern quickly rise and seek shelter behind a nearby pillar, vigilantly watching the front.
"Don't concern yourself with the cleaning staff, imdiately cover the target's retreat," Shi Feng commanded in a lowered voice.
The two escort officers exchanged a knowing glance and quickly shielded the fishern, advancing swiftly while vigilant and ard. Around them, travelers scattered in fear, yelling and screaming, creating chaos.
Soon, the escort officers escorted the fishern out of the hall to an awaiting police car. Recognizing it as their own, they rapidly boarded. Suddenly, a nearby black car accelerated towards them, prompting one officer to swiftly shield the fishern.
"Thud!" A bullet struck the shoulder, splattering blood. The struck officer, resiliently raised his aim, but found the opponent already speeding away. The other officer quickly reacted, shoving the fishern into the car and urgently supporting his wounded comrade, asking, "Is it serious?"
"I'll survive," the officer replied firmly. "Quickly report to Director Shi."
"Damn, are you okay? The suspect's car won't get far; there's soone tailing them. Head to the hospital right away, you'll be protected en route. Hurry," Shi Feng's voice echoed through the earphone.
"Yes," the officers responded promptly, shutting the police vehicle's doors with blaring sirens as they raced off.
In the airport hall, Luo Zheng pondered seriously, aware of the situation through the earphone. Beside him, Shi Feng worriedly said, "Two assailants: one's dead, the other won't escape. I'm concerned if there are others here. Should we profile everyone here?"
"No need, that would cause chaos. These bastards surely want to silence witnesses, which is advantageous for us. At least real thieves will act knowing this," Luo Zheng said in a deep voice.
