Luo Zheng and his companions lay on the ground, able to feel bullets flying over their heads, but the threat was minimal, untroubling. They were all snipers, using sniper rifles with maximum ranges of over a kiloter, and effective ranges over eight hundred ters. Even with strong winds, bullets wouldn't drift much within five or six hundred ters, and their killing power was much stronger than that of ordinary rifles.

Benefiting from the sniper rifle's shooting advantage, Luo Zheng stared intensely through the sniper scope at the enemy, who, though prone, had not yet retreated. One person appeared to be shouting sothing, seemingly an officer. He quickly locked on, annoyed, and commanded, "On my order, 11 o'clock direction, distance four hundred seventy ters, wind speed at force six, aim half a foot to the left of the target's head, three-round burst, fire."

"Whiz whiz whiz!" Each person fired three bullets again, and Luo Zheng, without hesitation, pulled the trigger. In the sniper scope, the shouting person took a bullet to the chest, a geyser of blood erupting, and his body stiffly fell backward. The enemies in pursuit began to panic.

Seizing the rare opportunity, Luo Zheng continued to organize the firing, each ti they all shot simultaneously, line after line aiming for designated positions, their precision greatly improved. Perhaps it was the death of their commander that caused the enemy to retreat in disarray. Luo Zheng was overjoyed, rose from the snow, and coldly ordered, "Chase down, fire at will, kill."

One by one, they stood up from the snow, charging forward indifferently, sniper rifles at the ready on their shoulders, eyes glued to the sniper scopes, continuously shooting at any visible targets. They fiercely advanced; without their commander, the enemy began retreating in chaos. Everyone moved forward three hundred ters in a single breath.

"Get down." Through the sniper scope, Luo Zheng noticed that the enemy was starting to stabilize, finding places to lie down and return fire, surmising a new commander had been appointed. He quickly signaled everyone to lie down and shoot, while he searched through the sniper scope for targets. There were quite a few enemies, seemingly nearly a hundred—almost as many as expected. He let out a sigh of relief.

Then, the enemy ford a triangular attack formation, spearheaded by five machine guns roaring as they advanced. The power of machine gun bullets far exceeded that of ordinary automatic rifles, the dense rounds forcing everyone not to show themselves carelessly. The rest followed behind the machine guns, unleashing full firepower and spraying wildly.

Over a hundred people prepared to attack, with five machine guns leading the way; the montum was fierce, and there was no stopping them. Luo Zheng had no illusions about holding them off, making it a minute that counted. Through the headset, he ordered, "All snipers, aim for the machine guns and don't bother with the rest." Speaking, he targeted one of the machine gunners himself.

"Whiz whiz whiz!" Countless sniper bullets, carrying a piercing chill of death, whistled away from the world of ice and snow with the shriek of the Death God, instantly bringing three snipers to the ground. Three machine guns fell silent simultaneously, but others quickly took control, and the machine guns roared back to life.

"Hold for five minutes, fire at will," Luo Zheng ordered coldly, his voice reaching the other snipers. They tensed up, rejuvenated in spirit, and continued to aim and shoot. Five minutes wasn't a long ti to endure, but with the enemy only four or five hundred ters away, they wouldn't need that long to charge. Whether they could withstand the assault depended entirely on their rifles.

"Whiz whiz whiz." Luo Zheng fired again, three bullets hitting one man, but the enemy machine guns did not fall completely silent, and more rushed forward, fiercely attacking. Luo Zheng got angry and, through the headset, commanded, "Everyone pay attention, switch to Incendiary Bombs, burn them to death."

"Yes," they all responded, their eyes blazing with a sharp edge as they switched to incendiary rounds.

"Target, machine guns, fire!" After loading an Incendiary Bomb, Luo Zheng coldly commanded. The threat of the five machine guns was too significant, without taking them out, they could hold for at most another three minutes, and there'd be casualties. Incendiary bombs were the best choice. At the critical mont, Luo Zheng could not concern himself with rcy.

"Whizz, whizz, whizz..." Thirty incendiary rounds whistled through the air, emitting angry roars. The enemies hit by the incendiary rounds suddenly burst into flas, screaming and running chaotically as the fire quickly spread to others. Soon, a large blaze erupted around the five machine guns.

The fires caused by the incendiary rounds could only be extinguished with soil; water was powerless against them. So, in a panic, tried to smother the flas with snow to no avail. The intense fires quickly consud the lives of those hit by the bullets, and those splashed with sparks scread in agony, rolling and running, shouting in confusion as the machine guns fell silent.

When the five machine guns stopped, Luo Zheng let out a breath and said coldly, "Continue with the incendiary bombs to create chaos."

"Yes." Everyone carried out Luo Zheng's command calmly. They were killing enemies, no one felt sympathy. On the battlefield where it's either kill or be killed, sympathy can go to hell. If you wanted to survive, the only way was to take out the enemy—a simple, direct, and ruthless rule of the battlefield.

"Whizz, whizz, whizz!" Another round of incendiary bomb attacks hit, instantly setting the targets on fire with voracious flas that couldn't be extinguished even in this frozen, snowy world. Bullets that didn't hit their targets landed on the ground and also ignited, lting the surrounding snow while the sparks scattered wildly in the wind, causing more to catch fire and burn.

The two incendiary bomb attacks disrupted the rhythm of the enemy's advance, completely scattering their triangular assault formation. They pulled apart from each other, lying down on the ground, daring not to move. Luo Zheng watched the scene calmly and felt it was not appropriate to continue using incendiary bombs. He imdiately instructed everyone to switch to regular sniper bullets and engage in free fire.

From beginning to end, they hadn't encountered any skilled combatants. There were no snipers among the enemy forces ahead, a realization that made Luo Zheng aware the enemy must have split their forces to flank them, leaving behind ordinary soldiers to make a show of strength and deceive him. If not for having enough people, Luo Zheng would have wished to charge forward himself. Seeing the enemy spread out further and organizing another attack, a proper sniper kill beca impossible. Considering the ti, the others should have found cover by now.

In the midst of everything, Luo Zheng glanced back and saw nothing but an empty space behind him; his people seed to have vanished into thin air. Through his headset, he asked, "Guys, are you all ready?"

"Ready, let them co through, then retreat along the straight line towards twelve o'clock," the scholar replied.

Luo Zheng heaved a sigh of relief, seeing the scattered enemies pursue him. It was difficult to fight in such conditions. He closed his eyes slightly, reining in his murderous intent, and imdiately ordered through his headset, "Alright, brothers, prepare to retreat. Ghost Team mbers stay behind, everyone else retreat in a straight line at the fastest speed."

"Yes." The other snipers responded without hesitation, quickly rising from the ground and sprinting dozens of ters while crouched before converging into a line and dashing towards the woods along the twelve o'clock direction.

After watching the other snipers retreat about two hundred ters and glancing at the enemy about to encircle them, Luo Zheng's eyes filled with a cold murderous intent, and he ordered coldly, "Brothers, retreat first, let them co. We'll deal with them later."

"Yes." The mbers of Ghost Team responded loudly, their killing intent soaring to the skies.
