"How much farther?" The sudden appearance of soone startled Luo Zheng, who quickly asked.

"We must arrive within five minutes," Ghost Hand shouted confidently.

"Five minutes?" Luo Zheng entered the basent in surprise, saw Lan Xue, and urged, "The enemy will be here in five minutes, will we make it? If we won't, let's retreat imdiately, survival is paramount."

"Let's go, it's done, there's a tid bomb set for three minutes," Lan Xue explained gravely and hurried outside. With so much ammunition here, once it exploded, it would be earth-shattering. Whether they could escape the danger zone in three minutes would determine everyone's life or death.

Both of them rushed out of the building and sprinted back the way they had co when suddenly, gunfire erupted and bullets whizzed past. Luo Zheng was caught off guard and quickly called out, "Don't fight back, retreat at top speed." With that, he sprinted away. They could evade enemy fire, but not the bomb's shockwave. Staying ant certain death; they had to risk the barrage of bullets to flee for their lives.

Ghost Hand and the others, confused, saw Lan Xue and Luo Zheng running desperately without even looking back or responding to enemy fire. They wore serious expressions, realizing sothing was wrong, and without asking questions, they turned and ran in accord.

The hail of bullets nearly chased everyone down, hitting the ground around them, creating a maddening noise. The team, with tingling scalps, stooped and ran like mad, not daring to look back. Thankfully, the brush provided so cover, limiting the accuracy of the incoming fire; otherwise, they'd be dead for sure.

In the midst of their run, Luo Zheng silently counted the seconds. As they were about to reach the three-minute mark, he suddenly bellowed, "Get down, open your mouths wide." He threw himself to the ground, covered his ears, and forcefully opened his mouth. Ghost Hand and the others, unclear on the reason but absolutely trusting Luo Zheng, followed suit imdiately.

"Boom!" A massive explosion sounded, shaking the earth and trembling like an earthquake. The powerful blast sent shockwaves far and wide, with the surrounding brush swaying as if pushed by an unseen force. Everyone felt a soaring energy rush over their heads, vibrating their brains to a hum, causing intermittent deafness.

At that mont, everyone understood what had happened, their faces turning pale with shock as they looked at Luo Zheng and Lan Xue, astounded by the scale of the explosion. After waiting a while for the aftershocks of the blast to dissipate, everyone, with rattled brains, gradually regained consciousness.

"Is everyone all right?" Lan Xue asked coldly.

"We're fine," they all assured, slowly getting to their feet.

Luo Zheng also stood up, looking towards where the buildings had once been, now replaced by a huge crater with sothing burning inside and smoke filling the air. Looking at the pursuers from before, everyone lay motionless on the ground, clearly shaken to death by the powerful blast. If they hadn't run fast enough, they wouldn't have survived either.

"How much explosive was that?" Luo Zheng said, still shaken, looking at Lan Xue.

With a cool expression, Lan Xue replied, "Probably several hundred pounds of yellow gunpowder. Naturally, the explosive force was imnse. With the Wolf King's headquarters destroyed and their weapons and ammunition depleted, they have two options: either they'll hunt our team even more desperately, or they'll retreat. I lean towards the forr. What do we do now?"

"I agree, given the Wolf King's vengeful nature, he won't let the destruction of his weapons and ammo slide, but without a base, even if the Wolf King is hiding sowhere in this prairie commanding his forces, he will consider retreating. The most likely place he would go to is the desert base. What does everyone think?" Luo Zheng analyzed calmly.

"Why do I sll the fragrance of victory? Let's do it, let's head for the desert," Ghost Hand imdiately said.

"Right, let's storm into the desert and hit the Wolf King's base directly. To retaliate for the destruction here, the Wolf King will definitely order his elite troops to launch a fierce counterattack. Let the Wolf King's rage be sothing the other teams have to contend with. We'll switch our battlefield to the desert. The closer we get to success, the tighter it gets," Snow Leopard agreed.

"Even if the Wolf King isn't at the desert base, it doesn't matter. Destroying the base would be avenging ourselves. As for the competition outco, we'll leave it to fate. With the battle escalating like this, nobody could have imagined it. I've heard that in previous competitions, when hunting down terrorist leaders, there was never such show of force," Mountain Eagle said in agreent.

Everyone was in agreent, and finally, they all looked to Luo Zheng. After pondering for a mont, Luo Zheng's spirit surged as he said, "Alright, let's do that. If this place can be blown up, so can the Wolf King's other base. We have enough water and food; if we use it sparingly, it'll last us for ten days. Ten days is enough to take down the Wolf King. Let's go."

"Let's go!" everyone exclaid with excitent, their morale boosted by the prospect of destroying the enemy headquarters.

Lan Xue thought it over and, finding it to be the better choice, didn't object and followed along. As they marched toward the desert, the Wild Wolf rcenary Group had a base inside the desert that not even the competition organizing committee knew about. Lan Xue, having long focused on the Wild Wolf rcenary Group as a formidable enemy, held the most comprehensive intelligence and naturally knew of it.

"Should we report what happened here to the competition center?" Ghost Hand suddenly asked.

Luo Zheng was montarily startled, preoccupied with the pursuit of the Wolf King, he had forgotten about that. After a mont's thought, he said, "Report it. It would also allow the other teams to understand the real situation. If the Wolf King's n start a frenzied counterattack, and they have no idea what happened, consider it as our little contribution."

Lan Xue agreed with a nod, pulled out a satellite phone, installed the battery, and made the call, reporting the situation to the competition organizing committee. The committee said they would imdiately check the battle results via satellite and score for the team. Lan Xue hung up the phone indifferently, not caring about the points, but of course, destroying the Wild Wolf rcenary Group's headquarters was a significant military achievent. Even if they didn't score, it wouldn't reflect too poorly on the country.

While on the run, Lan Xue pondered in confusion. After a while, she caught up with Luo Zheng and said in a low voice, "Sothing is odd. Why was the United Nations competition committee so certain that this was the Wild Wolf rcenary Group's headquarters and not so training base? You saw the situation too. It felt more like a training base to ."

"It's not important. Aside from this place, there's only the desert base left. I reckon the desert base will be even more dangerous, with very tight defenses, unlike this place. No matter what it is, our target is the Wolf King," Luo Zheng calmly replied, looking at his teammates and said loudly, "Guys, the real battle is just beginning, everything up to now has been just an appetizer. Be careful."

"Piece of cake, a tough battle is what's truly thrilling," Snow Leopard said nonchalantly. As soldiers, they weren't afraid of fighting; they were afraid of having nothing to fight for. The series of narrow victories had filled everyone with confidence, and their spirits were high.

Having high spirits was a good thing. Luo Zheng smiled and said, "Alright then, let's make a bet among ourselves to see who can take down the Wolf King first. The winner gets to enjoy everyone else washing their clothes, even stinky socks, unconditionally for a month. How about that?"

"No problem, you're on," everyone chid in agreent, and seeing everyone's support for Luo Zheng, Lan Xue also smiled.
