"One shot, two shots, three shots..." Luo Zheng counted the shots fired as he ran, constantly performing Bullet Avoidance Steps to dodge the gunfire, closing the distance between them. The two were engaged in a vigorous chase, neither slowing down. Luo Zheng didn't expect the other to have such enduring stamina and to be in good physical condition—it was clear he was facing a formidable opponent. Annoyed and clenching his teeth, he dashed after the target, with the howling wind in his ears and his eyes locked firmly on his prey, he raised his pistol.

One hundred ters, eighty ters, fifty ters—the distance was closing. Luo Zheng was invigorated and his fighting spirit surged. He calmly aid at the other's thigh, ready to take a live capture. As he ran, Luo Zheng focused and quieted his breath, gauging the other's running speed and rhythm. Just as he was about to fire, suddenly, the other stopped, turned around, and tossed the handgun aside, glaring over with cold eyes, gasping for air.

"Oh, you want a one-on-one fight?" Luo Zheng sneered in extre anger, charging forward and stopping at a five-ter distance. He holstered his pistol and coldly said, "Kid, not running anymore?" He watched the other closely, on high alert.

The man didn't speak. He just looked at Luo Zheng coldly. Seeing Luo Zheng rush at full speed without being heavily out of breath, his complexion grew grave. He got into a fighting stance without a word, his eyes nearly closed to slits that flickered with fierce malice. Suddenly, he let out a roar and charged at Luo Zheng like a hungry wolf on the prowl.

Luo Zheng remained unmoved, watching the incoming attacker with detachnt. He took a half-step forward with his left foot and sank his body down, centering his gravity. The force traveled from his feet up to his right fist and he hurled it ferociously at the opponent. With a "thud," the sound of their colliding fists echoed like thunder.

"Hiss?" Luo Zheng took a step back to steady himself, feeling the vibration and aching in his arm. He looked at his opponent with surprise and saw him taking five steps back, one hand clenching the other fist tightly, obviously in sharp pain. The advantage was clear. Luo Zheng shook his arm and said coldly, "Not bad, kid. Let's go again."

The other's face was as pale as death, staring at Luo Zheng with eyes full of ruthless malice. With a strange cry, he lunged at Luo Zheng again, this ti a short dagger in his hand. Its cold gleam traced a radiant arc through the Void, aid straight for Luo Zheng's throat, the move as quick as lightning.

"Now it's getting interesting," Luo Zheng chuckled coldly. His body didn't move but was tensed for action. When the other ca within just one ter, he leaned his upper body back and kicked fiercely at his opponent's groin. The move was extrely stealthy, with force as heavy and swift as thunder.

"Ah!" The blade of the dagger passed a half-foot in front of Luo Zheng's neck, tracing a radiant arc. Before the man could adjust his attack, he scread in agony, flying backwards and landing heavily on the ground. He curled up, clutching his groin with both hands, rolling in pain and cursing, "Bāgā!"

"Japanese pirate?" Hearing the involuntary curse from the man in extre rage, Luo Zheng's expression turned cold. He drew his pistol, aid at the man's thigh, and without hesitation, pulled the trigger.

"Bang, bang!" Two shots rang out, two bullets whizzed through the air, carrying Luo Zheng's wrath as they instantly penetrated the man's thighs, sending up geysers of blood, creating two bloody holes.

"Ah, Bāgā!" The man scread again, glaring at Luo Zheng with cold, narrow eyes radiating sinister cruelty, like a wounded hungry wolf, his face filled with unwillingness and rage, pale as a sheet, his forehead covered in cold sweat. He didn't spare a glance for his wounded legs, his teeth gritted, and his dagger suddenly flew from his grasp, tracing a radiant arc through the Void, as quick as lightning.

Facing the dying counterattack, Luo Zheng sidestepped, and the dagger flew past his chest. The thrown dagger disappeared into the bushes far away. Moving two steps forward, Luo Zheng stared coldly at the man, his face frosty, and said, "I didn't expect you to be a Japanese pirate. Don't bla for being ruthless then." As he spoke, he pulled the trigger again.

"Bang! Bang!" Two gunshots rang out, and two bullets surged towards the adversary's arms, stirring up arcs of blood. As the enemy collapsed onto the ground, his body went limp, his face ashen, he glared at Luo Zheng with a poisonous look, silent as if he wanted to devour Luo Zheng whole.

Luo Zheng remained unmoved, chuckled coldly, put away his gun, and picked up the other party's pistol to check it - no bullets. Seeing a large group of police officers pursuing from a distance, he stashed the pistol away, grabbed the man by the collar to take him back, and it wasn't long before a large number of police charged over. The leading officer looked at Luo Zheng warily, motioned for his n to stop, spread out, and forbid them from opening fire. Without clear understanding of the situation, this command was undeniably the correct one.

With a "thump," Luo Zheng threw the criminal on the ground. The man's brow furrowed tightly, enduring the pain without a shout - quite a tough man. Spotting this, Luo Zheng's face lit up with pleasure; such tough guys often had no simple identities. He gestured for the leading police officer to co over.

"Who are you?" the lead police officer took a few steps forward, eyeing Luo Zheng with caution.

Luo Zheng glanced at the surrounding cops, who were on high alert with their guns trained on him, and let out a wry smile, saying, "Friendly, don't shoot. I'll show you my ID." He pointed to his inner jacket pocket to avoid any misunderstanding with the officers.

"No one fires without my order," the cautious team leader shouted into his radio, and then turned to look at Luo Zheng, his gaze finally resting on the half-dead criminal on the ground, his expression hardening before returning to Luo Zheng.

To avoid further misunderstanding, Luo Zheng slowly reached into his inner jacket pocket and ticulously drew out an ID, tossing it to the officer. The man scrutinized it, his expression shifting slightly as he looked at Luo Zheng with a puzzled air, then pulled out his phone and dialed a secret number. After reporting his own identity, he asked for Luo Zheng's credentials to be verified. The confirmation ca quickly, and he breathed a sigh of relief, lifting the radio to announce, "Friendly, lower your weapons."

The leading officer stepped forward, returned the ID to Luo Zheng, and gave a solemn salute, apologizing, "Sorry, it was just standard procedure. I'm Shi Feng, head of the city bureau's major cri unit. What's going on here?"

"This is the man we've been after, his identity is confidential. I need your cooperation to take him away as soon as possible. Those taxi drivers helped catch him, they made a significant effort, please handle it properly, and rember, my identity must stay confidential," Luo Zheng said earnestly.

"No problem, I understand," Shi Feng readily agreed. Luo Zheng's work ID was from the Zhongnanhai bodyguards, the Imperial Army that guarded the Chairman and handled major cases, beyond his jurisdiction to ddle in. He agreed without hesitation and imdiately began issuing orders through his radio.

As everyone regrouped and headed back to the highway, Luo Zheng saw the taxi drivers gathered, and quickly approached one, asking with concern, "Are you alright?"

"I told them you were a cop, but these jerks wouldn't believe . They were going to detain , but then suddenly let us go. We're just taxi drivers, the lowest of society, with our wives and kids depending on us. What about our losses?" the taxi driver complained, looking at Luo Zheng apprehensively, worried Luo Zheng might go back on his word.
