As dawn began to break, a large group of people surged over, taking the body away. Technicians headed to the control room. Luo Zheng saw a familiar figure, Lan Xing, Lan Xue's whimsical younger sister. Unexpectedly, Lan Xing was from the Intelligence Team and was busy working in the control room. With the arrival of the Intelligence Team, everyone else seed to be out of hot water.
With nothing else pressing, Luo Zheng and the others joined Elder Lin for breakfast on the third floor. Too much had happened overnight. After Elder Lin was briefed about the situation, he was deeply moved. When Song Yun learned that the system she designed had been hacked, her face filled with disbelief, and she fell into deep thought, lost and unsure of what to think, prompting no further questions from the rest.
After breakfast, Elder Lin went to continue his work in the basent, while Lan Xue negotiated with the Intelligence Team. Luo Zheng and the others accompanied Elder Lin to the basent. Having been up all night, Luo Zheng was exhausted and fell asleep on the sofa in the rest area. He didn't know how long he had been sleeping when he felt soone calling him. Opening his eyes, he saw Song Yun, looking forlorn with red eyes, clearly having cried. Startled, he asked, "What's wrong?"
"The system was developed by . I'm the only one who knows the source code, so there's no reason it should have been infiltrated. I'm very confident about that, and I hope you can trust too," Song Yun said, squeezing out a smile, though her expression remained bitter.
"What are you trying to say? Get to the point," Luo Zheng felt sothing was amiss, quickly sat up, and asked.
"Right now, I only trust you. I hope you can give so advice. I suspect soone tampered with my computer, and it could be a mber of my family, leading to the leak of the source code. I checked and there's a record of the source code being copied. What do you think I should do?" Song Yun spoke, her expression filled with sorrow. If it really was a family mber who did it, it would be an unbearably painful matter.
Luo Zheng pondered seriously. Although the Song family had a grudge against him, Song Yun had never hard him. On the contrary, she had protected him and hoped to resolve the hatred between them. Though her actions were a bit laughable, her intentions were good. And now, revealing such crucial information to him showed trendous trust. He couldn't handle this carelessly.
After thinking for a mont, Luo Zheng asked with a grave expression, "Even though I have a grudge against your family, objectively speaking, it might not necessarily be your relatives who did this. Think carefully, could it be a colleague here? Could you check the date when the copying occurred, and think about where you were at that ti?"
"I checked the logs. It was at ho," Song Yun said with a mournful look.
"Hiss?" Luo Zheng looked at Song Yun in surprise, and with a wry smile said, "Truly self-inflicted, are all your family mbers like this? This is treason."
"Do you think mocking is funny?" Song Yun replied, dissatisfied.
"I'm not mocking, just stating a fact. That said, I'm not a petty person who would take this opportunity to seek revenge against the Song family. However, this matter is related to my mission, and it must be thoroughly investigated. I have two concerns: first, you must have encrypted the source code, right? Do any of your family mbers have better computer skills than you? People without your level of skill shouldn't be able to find your encrypted files. Second, how did they copy it?"
"Right? How hadn't I thought of that?" Song Yun's eyes lit up, and she perked up, thinking along the lines suggested by Luo Zheng. After a while, she confidently said, "No one at ho is better with computers than . It doesn't make sense for them to find my encrypted files. Also, the copying was done via a USB connection."
"If no one is more skilled than you, then it ans no one could find your encrypted files. So how did they copy the files through the connection?" Luo Zheng asked, bewildered.
"There is one possibility. What was inserted might not have been a storage drive but a signal transmitter. The other party could establish a wireless connection using the signal transmitter and access my computer to retrieve the files," Song Yun spoke with professional confidence.
"Then it was indeed your family mbers who ddled," Luo Zheng said with a cold laugh.
"Uh?" Song Yun paused, then quickly realized the implication, sighing with a wry smile, "It seems soone tampered with a signal transmitter when I wasn't around, probably when I was taking a shower. That's the only ti my computer is on. Who could it be?"
Song Yun fell into deep thought, and Luo Zheng was also filled with doubt. Given the wealth, power, and status of the Song family, it made no sense for them to do such a thing. They lacked for nothing, so why take the risk? Void of a motive, he pondered, when suddenly Song Yun's eyes sparkled, and she exclaid, "I've got it! It was Mrs. Huang, a maid in our household for over a decade, who was very close to . She suddenly resigned three months ago."
"Mrs. Huang? More like royal army. She might well be a mole. Aren't you going to investigate?" Luo Zheng said irritably, and seeing that it wasn't a direct relative of the Song family, he lost interest and lay back down to continue sleeping.
Song Yun wasn't bothered by Luo Zheng's attitude and said cheerfully, "Thank you for the reminder. Otherwise, I wouldn't have realized the truth. I'll go investigate now. Continue sleeping, I'll bring you a cup of tea later." With that, she happily ran off, nearly colliding with Lan Xue who was just entering.
Lan Xue deftly stepped aside, surprised by Song Yun's joyful departure. Turning to look at Luo Zheng lying on the sofa, she walked over curiously and asked, "Didn't you just promise her sothing? She seems so delighted. Did you accept her proposal?"
"What are you talking about?" Luo Zheng quickly sat up. This was not sothing to be sloppy about. He recounted the recent events, finishing with, "Unfortunately, it's not a direct relative of the Song family. I missed an opportunity for revenge."
Lan Xue, seeing Luo Zheng's tense face, couldn't help but laugh, feeling a sweet satisfaction inside. She rolled her eyes at him and said, "Revenge should be taken personally, there will be plenty of opportunities in the future. A true man should act openly and honestly. Also, the Intelligence Team has already adjusted the system. It's a hogrown developnt, so it's not a big issue. Additionally, my sister stayed to help us out, and the issue with the underground signal screen is also resolved, preventing any communication problems."
"That's good, having to call in every ti was too troubleso, and not being able to communicate promptly could be deadly. It's also good that Lan Xing is staying back. How are her computer skills?" Luo Zheng asked.
"Her? With all her whimsical thoughts applied to computing, her level might not be the highest internationally, but she's definitely the most troubleso and headache-inducing. With her here, I'm much more at ease. Objectively speaking, the system developed by Song Yun is also very good, but she's not a soldier and doesn't quite understand warfare. The system's defensive capabilities and automatic alarm functions are lacking, which makes it vulnerable if the source code gets leaked," Lan Xue said frankly.
"Good. Those Japanese bastards won't get away with this," Luo Zheng breathed a sigh of relief, brimming with confidence about the upcoming battle, and asked, "Has that old director's son-in-law given in yet?"
