In the prival jungle under the blazing sun, more than twenty people dashed like cheetahs. Soon, a lateral peak appeared ahead. Luo Zheng saw the tribe's people rushing towards the peak and was montarily stunned. Upon catching up, he realized that the peak was actually a section of a stone cliff with a natural cave large enough to accommodate everyone. Seeing this, Luo Zheng smiled, thinking to himself that, as natives, they truly knew the terrain.

Everyone quickly hid inside the cave. Luo Zheng didn't move. Instead, he watched the circling helicopter in the distance, his face filled with murderous intent. Lan Xue doubled back and looked at Luo Zheng in alarm, following his gaze to the helicopter. Understanding dawned on her, and her face turned solemn as she said, "You want to take it down?"

"Yes, that thing poses a great threat to us. We can't complete the mission without taking it down," Luo Zheng said coldly, his face still full of murderous intent as he checked the sniper rifle. He loaded an Incendiary Bomb into the chamber and continued, "I'll go alone. A smaller target, moving fast, is not easily detected. I'll find an opportunity to strike."

"No way, I'm coming with you. If we die, we die together." Lan Xue knew Luo Zheng was right. Without taking down the helicopter, they couldn't complete their mission. Just like the rescue just now, they had routed the enemy and could have pursued and hunted them down, but they dared not because of the presence of the helicopter. So Lan Xue didn't object to Luo Zheng's decision but insisted on going together. The task was too difficult and too dangerous. Lan Xue didn't feel reassured.

"Don't worry. I promise to co back alive. I won't make a move if there's no opportunity, okay?" Luo Zheng looked at Lan Xue affectionately, his heart ward by her concern. He spoke earnestly—a single person could move more nimbly, whereas two would be an easier target. Moreover, it was much too dangerous, and Luo Zheng didn't want Lan Xue to risk her life.

However, Lan Xue didn't want Luo Zheng to face the danger alone either. She was about to object when Luo Zheng preempted her, "The brothers need you in command, and the mission can't proceed without you. The overall situation cos first." His gaze was earnest, and his expression resolved.

Lan Xue was taken aback, then stared deeply at Luo Zheng and said earnestly, "Be careful. Make sure you co back in one piece."

"You too, stay in one piece," Luo Zheng said affectionately, then turned and sprinted towards the helicopter.

A few minutes later, Luo Zheng reached the vicinity of the helicopter and suddenly discovered that it was bearing down on him. It had obviously detected him. He imdiately stopped running, looked around, spotted a sturdy-looking tree, and rushed to it, pressing his back against it, hugging his rifle, his entire body tensed.

"Da-da-da!" The sky erupted with the intense sound of gunfire. Bullets showered down like rain, turning the ground into a ss—as if sweeping the floor of the courtyard—revealing the terrifying power of the ard helicopter's attack. Luo Zheng's face paled; without facing the hail of bullets directly, one could never comprehend the true danger and fear.

The buzzing of bullet impacts was enough to burst one's eardrums, and the onslaught was ntally shattering, especially the cacophony caused by the bullets hitting the tree. The tree trembled as though ready to splinter. Luo Zheng opened his mouth wide, roaring to reduce the disorienting effects of the sound, venting the tension within.

"This is terrifying!" Luo Zheng experienced an ard helicopter attack for the first ti and was taken aback by how fearso it was. His back pressed tightly against the tree, he dared not make a move until the helicopter roared past overhead. His expression was as grim as iron, his brows furrowed deeply. He quickly surveyed his surroundings and spotted another big tree, rushing towards it.

The thick tree that took two people to embrace was riddled with holes from the universal machine gun on the ard helicopter; it was swaying and on the verge of collapse. To continue hiding here was to court death. Luo Zheng had just changed his hiding spot when he saw the ard helicopter circling back. A barrage of bullets whistled in once more; the space around him seed as if it was about to collapse and crumble—terrifyingly so.

"Thud thud thud!" The formidable bullets struck the tree as if they were furious tigers, tearing the wood chips apart and setting one's heart trembling. Luo Zheng didn't dare to move recklessly. Having experienced the first attack, he was psychologically prepared. This ti, Luo Zheng was ready to strike back. He took deep breaths to calm his racing heart, waiting for the right mont with a sharp gaze.

"Whoosh whoosh!" The ard helicopter roared overhead, unapologetically blazing through the sky. The helicopter's underside was reinforced with sturdy steel plates that could block bullet attacks, utterly unconcerned for its safety.

Luo Zheng watched the arrogant ard helicopter, his gaze bursting with a startling murderous intent. He quickly aid his rifle; the helicopter was flying at a low altitude, arrogantly close to the ground, rely about three hundred ters up—a height that posed no issue for Luo Zheng.

In his aim, Luo Zheng's mind was exceptionally clear, calculating the helicopter's speed and altitude. He aid for the cockpit; a piercing chill of murderous intent suddenly exploded in his eyes. His arm muscles twitched as his index finger rapidly squeezed the trigger and the shell of the bullet ejected, making a pleasant sound.

"Shoo!" The bullet roared forth, tearing through the air, carrying with it boundless murderous intent akin to primordial fierce beasts, and viciously struck the rear of the ard helicopter. Due to the helicopter's flying speed, although aid at the cockpit, it hit the tail instead, which was within Luo Zheng's calculations.

"Bang!" The bullet exploded, and a multitude of flammable agents instantly enveloped the helicopter. The terrifying temperature stuck to the fuselage and quickly ignited it, lting and igniting the steel plates as the fire swiftly spread and billowed up into a plu of black smoke.

"Boom!" The helicopter's fuel tank couldn't withstand the high temperature, the oil boiling over until, reaching a certain degree, it exploded in an instant, releasing a massive fireball. The ard helicopter disintegrated, its debris scattering in all directions, with the rotor spinning as it crashed down, smashing the crown of a large tree and shattering its trunk, then the rotor heavily landed on the ground, embedding itself into the soil and coming to a halt.

"Phew!" Luo Zheng breathed a sigh of relief, watching the explosion bring down the ard helicopter amid a scene of wreckage. He was about to evacuate when suddenly another sound of rotor blades struck his ear, causing a shock. He looked in the direction of the noise to see another helicopter speeding his way, emitting a terrifying roar.

Luo Zheng swiftly changed his hiding spot and loaded an incendiary bomb into his weapon, preparing for battle, his expression iron-calm. There was no avoiding it: to live on the battlefield, he had to eliminate the opponent. There was no second choice. Luo Zheng watched the approaching ard helicopter with an icy killing intent.

"Eh?" Just then, Luo Zheng noticed that after the ard helicopter got closer, it suddenly gained altitude, turned around, and fled. What was this? The infantry's nesis, the king of jungle warfare, the ard helicopter was running away?

Avoiding combat was preferable. Luo Zheng let out a breath of relief; his expression eased and he felt pain in his arm. Shocked, he turned to look and found that he was injured, but fortunately, it was only a graze from a bullet, nothing serious. Luo Zheng quickly ran back and, from a distance, saw Lan Xue hurriedly rushing over, warming his heart. He smiled—the feeling of being cared for was truly good.
