"Boom!" In an instant, the building was ignited, and the temperature of the thermite was high enough to lt people. The powerful adhesiveness of the flammable agent made it impossible to shake off once it adhered to soone. The targets hiding behind the building, after coming into contact with the flammable agent, ran around in agony, screaming, longing for soone to co help. The tragic sight terrified the others.

Almost simultaneously, Lan Xue and Mountain Eagle also chose incendiary bombs and destroyed a building. More Japanese combatants were set ablaze, running around in chaos and letting out shrill screams. So even fell to the ground, rolling around until they lay still, their bodies perating with the charred stench of burning flesh.

At this critical mont between life and death, the tribespeople erupted with incredible potential, running at high speed. They scattered out of the tribe, rushing towards the mountains under Ghost Hand's guidance. Ghost Hand and Snow Leopard covered the rear, killing the Japanese combatants that surged forward. Luo Zheng looked through the sniper scope and noticed many fiercely pursuing Japanese combatants. His expression turned cold as he swiftly aid at a house nearby.

"Swoosh!" An incendiary bomb was fired again, setting the building on fire. The roaring flas startled the pursuers, who imdiately hit the ground, terrified of being splattered with the flammable agent. Even a re spark could burn a huge hole through a person, and if it landed in a lethal spot, death was certain. No one dared to ignore the danger.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, Ghost Hand and Snow Leopard fought as they retreated. Lan Xue and Mountain Eagle also turned their gun barrels around, igniting the houses near the pursuers to stop them and cover for Ghost Hand and Snow Leopard. After replacing his ammo with regular sniper bullets, Luo Zheng looked through the sniper scope, unshaken by the fiercely burning tribe or the courageously pursuing Japanese combatants, and continued to search for targets.

"Swoosh!" Luo Zheng quickly pulled the trigger, and the sniper bullet let out a terrifying whistle as it pierced the chest of a Japanese combatant who was at the forefront. The man's body was blown apart, split into two, with copious amounts of blood splattering around and landing on his comrades. His body fell heavily to the ground, a sight of sheer horror.

"Swoosh! Swoosh!" Two more sniper bullets whistled through the air, cutting another two leading Japanese combatants in half. Blood and bits of flesh flew everywhere. One of the combatant's lower halves landed on a pursuer, who let out a scream and hit the ground. Once he realized what it was, he turned tail and ran.

The others, too, were stunned by the ferocious sniping. Seeing others flee, they lost their composure, their morale plumted, and they began to retreat, no longer daring to pursue. Luo Zheng, witnessing this scene, felt no pity. He quickly replaced the ammo with an incendiary bomb; the retreating Japanese combatants made a fatal mistake by clustering together.

Huddling together in the face of a sniper's hunt was asking for death. An incendiary bomb whistled through the air, its shriek like the ghastly laugh of the Death God, carrying Luo Zheng's fury. It struck the back of a target, and the flammable agent splattered around, setting the nearby people on fire. The terrifying heat instantly lted flesh and bones, and the rciless flammable agent burrowed into the bodies, entirely burning away their life force to ashes.

Almost at the sa ti, Lan Xue and Mountain Eagle didn't miss this good opportunity. They fired their weapons, and the incendiary bombs roared forth, carrying the montum to annihilate everything. They exploded among the Japanese combatants, taking lives rcilessly. The penetration might not be as strong as that of regular bullets, but the destructive capability was incomparable and terrifying.

This group of Japanese combatants was scared off, scattering in every direction. In doing so, they inevitably bumped into their comrades, imdiately setting them ablaze with the terrifying heat. Those who ran into buildings set them on fire. The scene descended into chaos, and more people began to retreat. Luo Zheng coldly watched this unfold and let out a sigh of relief, whispering, "Quick, organize a retreat now, careful of the Japanese combatants' ard helicopters coming for support."

Everyone had seen helicopters at the Japanese combatants' research base. There were three in total, two of them ard, and the remaining one was a transport helicopter. Facing the ard helicopters, they had no power to fight back. Retreat was the only option. Hearing Luo Zheng's reminder, they all retreated cautiously.

"Ghost, go and communicate with them," Lan Xue said through the earpiece.

"Understood," Luo Zheng responded and crawled out of the shelter, holding his sniper rifle as he dashed over. He waved at the approaching tribal villagers, signaling them to co over. With language barriers, he could only rely on gestures. Seeing the villagers running over, Luo Zheng breathed a sigh of relief. When he saw Ghost Hand and Snow Leopard had also retreated unscathed, he smiled.

Out of the thirty-so tribal villagers, only about twenty managed to evacuate safely, each with an expression of sorrow and fury in their eyes, brimming with a killing intent. As Luo Zheng watched the group approach, each one of them naked except for a loin cloth covering their lower halves, he imdiately understood why Lan Xue had sent him to make contact. Having a young lady talk to a group of naked n was indeed inappropriate. Luo Zheng knew this was a tribal custom and felt no discomfort as he went to et them.

Among the group, a middle-aged man was jabbering at Luo Zheng while making hand gestures. Unfortunately, Luo Zheng could neither understand nor interpret them, which left him feeling frustrated. Communication was a hassle without a common language. He pointed ahead, motioning for everyone to follow, and then he started running forward. Seeing that they were indeed following, he relaxed.

As they ran, Luo Zheng noticed that these barefoot villagers could move incredibly fast, truly befitting of individuals who lived in the prival forest. He eased up, and a few minutes later, the roaring of a helicopter ca from the sky, causing Luo Zheng's face to change drastically. He quickly instructed everyone to halt and hide motionless in the woods.

Soon after, they saw a helicopter circling above, searching. Lan Xue jogged over to Luo Zheng with a serious expression and whispered, "I'm not sure if the helicopter is equipped with a thermal imaging instrunt. If it is, they'll spot us soon."

"What's your plan?" Luo Zheng's expression turned stern as he quickly asked. A thermal imaging instrunt could detect targets by their heat signatures. If they actually had that, there would be no escaping or hiding.

"Prepare for combat, if things go south, we'll have to fight. Check your ammunition," Lan Xue spoke worriedly, without a better solution at hand. If there were rivers or sothing similar, they could hide. But surrounded by woods, they had no place to conceal themselves and could only stand their ground and fight.

Everyone checked their ammunition. Luo Zheng saw the middle-aged man run over, speaking eagerly with an urgent look on his face, but unfortunately, he couldn't understand a word. He smiled wryly, shook his head, pointed to his ears, and waved his hands to indicate he didn't understand. However, he noticed the man gesturing frantically, beckoning with his hands, and looking very anxious.

"It seems like he's telling us to follow them," Lan Xue said in a low voice.

"Eh?" Luo Zheng was taken aback. He pointed at himself and then at the man, making a walking motion with his index and middle fingers. Seeing the man nodding desperately, he imdiately smiled and nodded in agreent.

The man was overjoyed and let out several shouts, prompting the tribal villagers to rise and rush towards one side. Lan Xue saw this and said imdiately, "Let's run with them for now. Everyone, be careful. If you notice the helicopter pursuing, take cover imdiately. Your life is the priority."

"Understood," everyone responded in unison and ran off following them.
