After a while, Song Yang realized he had lost his composure. He slowly regained his calm and glanced at the two still training on the dark training ground. With a gloomy face, he pondered that with Lan Xue's protection, it was probably impossible to harm Luo Zheng. Since he couldn't strike him down fatally, why not? With this thought, Song Yang seriously whispered, "Instructor, can you delay his training?"

"Delay the training?" The instructor looked at Song Yang in surprise, then quickly understood and nodded, "No problem. He's a mber of the Training Team, and I am the chief instructor here. It's easy to keep him from training. I'll assign him to be responsible for all als and the maintenance of the training equipnt again, which will occupy most of his ti. If he objects, I'll kick him out."

"Good idea," Song Yang said joyfully, his cold laugh following the words. After thinking for a mont, he seriously spoke, "Instructor, could you design a training plan specifically for ? I need to beco stronger, and fast. Just go ahead and train hard, I won't bla you if sothing happens, and neither will my family."

"Alright," the instructor agreed, puzzled, unable to truly believe the words Song Yang said. The lives of the nobility were extrely valuable, and the instructor felt he couldn't bear the potential cost, nor did he have the capability, otherwise he wouldn't need to rely on the Song family and do things against his conscience.

The two left the square and returned to their room to discuss the training plan, oblivious of Lan Xue's formidable strength. Without their knowledge, their conversation was faintly overheard by Lan Xue, who, through a few key words, guessed the gist of their plan. Her expression turned grave. Since the instructor was making moves against Luo Zheng, Lan Xue, who was ostensibly there to assist as a Sniper Instructor, really couldn't say much. Upset, she let Luo Zheng train a little longer before heading back, then she hurried to her room.

After ensuring the door was securely locked and no one was eavesdropping, Lan Xue dialed a number. Once connected, a vigorous voice answered, "Little sister, are you doing well over there? What made you call ?"

"Cousin, I've found a talented person here that I want to recomnd to you," Lan Xue controlled her angry emotions, speaking in a calm tone.

"Oh? Anyone who catches your eye must be notable. I didn't expect such a talent in my Training Team, interesting. Who is it?" the vigorous voice continued, with a touch of surprise.

"Cousin, hasn't your Special Forces produced a high-level sniper in five years?" Lan Xue countered.

"Uh, what are you getting at?" the other party asked, surprised, "We're family, so let's not talk in circles. Just say what you an."

"It's nothing major, just that I've discovered a promising recruit who I don't want to see wasted," Lan Xue said nonchalantly, distancing herself completely.

"Alright, if you say he's a good prospect, then he must be. I'll co over tomorrow to see for myself. If he really is as good as you say, I'll take him imdiately. I won't ask for more details now. We're family, and if there's any trouble, I'll have your back," the other party said earnestly.

"Thank you!" Lan Xue expressed her gratitude, then hung up the phone. She walked to the window and saw that familiar figure still devoutly training in the training field, tireless. Lan Xue had always been curious about Luo Zheng's recovery abilities; even if he fainted from overexertion, he would be up and about in just a few hours as if nothing had happened. Truly a remarkable specin.

Watching that familiar, impressive figure and recalling the tis Luo Zheng had saved her life and their close encounters, she couldn't help but beco infatuated, her face burning hotly and turning red to the tips of her ears. Suddenly, Lan Xue felt a twitch at her brow and was startled, quickly withdrawing to a vigilant stance behind the window to closely observe her surroundings. She acutely noticed two shadows swiftly taking down two sentries, quickly dispersing and moving towards the camp under the cloak of night like ravenous wild wolves.

"Not good, there's a situation." Lan Xue was shocked, quickly aid the sniper rifle, and locked onto a shadow, decisively pulling the trigger. Just as she pulled the trigger, Lan Xue keenly noticed the shadow dodge down, hiding in a corner of the wall.

"Whoosh!" The bullet missed, but tore through the night, waking the others in the camp.

"This one's skilled." Lan Xue, surprised, watched the direction of the shadow. She hadn't expected the person to evade her shot, an occurrence that hadn't happened in a long ti. Her interest piqued and her fighting spirit surged. She heard two gunshots; the training ground's lights were shot out, and the surroundings plunged into darkness. Suddenly, she thought of Luo Zheng still in the training ground and quickly looked over. Without the lights, where was Luo Zheng?

"Whoosh—ah?" After the gunshot, a scream rang out.

Lan Xue was startled, quickly left the room, knowing that as a skilled adversary, they would have definitely targeted this sniper position. She went outside to the hallway and saw the instructor also coming out ard. She imdiately said, "You take the east side, I'll take the west. Keep the team mbers in the barracks, don't let them co out—the opponent is skilled."

"Okay." The instructor agreed, confident in Lan Xue's abilities as the sniper instructor had been sent by higher-ups. He hurriedly ran toward the east.

Lan Xue deftly ran to the end of the corridor on the west side, took a running jump over the fence, then leaped onto the rooftop, swiftly moving towards the edge near the square. She aid her sniper rifle forward, calmly observing the area. Detecting no enemy movent, Lan Xue held her position. When sniper experts compete, they are vying in patience and the ability to seize opportunities.

anwhile, Luo Zheng was lying on the ground with his weapon, not moving. The training field was too open, with the nearest building more than two hundred ters away. Running would only expose him, akin to courting death. Without knowing the enemy's position, remaining still was undoubtedly the best choice. Ard and having faced several life-and-death situations before, Luo Zheng wasn't the slightest bit panicked.

After quietly waiting for a while, the pitch-dark camp remained silent. Even the Training Team mbers inside the barracks, after one of them had been killed, stayed inside without coming out, turning off the lights. This was undoubtedly the right move. The enemy wanted to stir the water in the darkness, and after stirring it, it would be hard to discern who was the fish.

"Whoosh!" A bullet struck a corner ahead in the dark, sparks flying.

Luo Zheng clearly saw a shadow quickly dodge at the corner. After the gunshot, there was no more movent from that spot. Unsure who had fired the shot, Luo Zheng, looking left and right, suddenly rembered there was a sand pit about a hundred ters ahead. The pit was over a foot deep, deep enough to hide a person, so he carefully crawled over.

Once at the sand pit, Luo Zheng concealed himself on the edge, turned on the night vision on his scope, and began searching for the enemy. However, he saw nothing, continued to hide cautiously, and waited for the right mont. He thought of the experience Lan Xue had once taught him; facing a skilled opponent, the best tactic was to respond to changes with constancy.

"Whoosh." A gunshot sounded sowhere, a flash of gunfire quickly disappearing. Imdiately after, two bullets were fired toward the source of the gunshot. The night again fell into silence, eerily quiet, with danger lurking all around.
