Half an hour later, everyone arrived at a mountainside. Below the mountainside was a valley, and the mountainside was covered with dense trees. The rainfall washed over the ground, making everything in front pitch-black and imperceptible. Luo Zheng's stern gaze swept around him and then, with a flash of lightning, he spotted a large boulder that required three people to embrace and was mostly exposed, with the soil around it loosened by the rain.

Luo Zheng was overjoyed and approached the boulder, saying, "Guys, let's use this to clear the path. If we slide it down, it can break through any traps. Co, give a hand." As he spoke, he crouched down to move it. Ghost Hand and the others understood his intent and quickly ca over to help, while the middle-aged man didn't understand what Luo Zheng was doing but ca to help as well.

Once the boulder was dislodged, everyone worked together to push it down the slope. The boulder gained montum, tumbling down with a thud, followed by a loud explosion, like thunder in a rainstorm, which made everyone's faces change with shock before they exchanged looks and laughed. If it were a normal night, the sound might have drawn enemies, but who would suspect anything in a thunderstorm?

The boulder continued to roll after being hit by the blast wave from the explosion and soon set off another land mine before coming to a halt against a large tree with a resounding "thud." Luo Zheng and the others untied the ropes from around their bodies—there was no worry of getting lost here—and they ford a single file line, following the path cleared by the boulder down the mountain. Soon they reached the boulder and pushed it downhill again with a combined effort.

Rolling on, the boulder detonated three more land mines and stopped when it encountered a large tree. Once again, the team worked together to push the boulder. This cycle repeated until about twenty minutes later, the boulder rolled down the mountainside and crashed into a high-voltage fence, emitting a crackling electric sound. The sight sent a shiver through the group, who quickly rushed down the mountainside and crouched next to the boulder.

After observing the fence for a while, Luo Zheng confidently stated, "We can't touch the wire fence, it's electrified. Too high to climb over. What are your thoughts?"

"Without the right equipnt to chop down trees to leap over, or to dig a tunnel through, we are in a tough spot—we have no choice but to dig," Ghost Hand said with a touch of helplessness.

Lacking proper tools, they had to work with their hands. Fortunately, after the boulder had rolled, it knocked the fence off the ground slightly, creating a small opening. Luo Zheng looked at the open field in front, past which a dimly seen wall blocked a cluster of buildings, uncertain of what awaited them inside. But having co this far, they couldn't return empty-handed. He quickly lay down and began scraping the soil with a stick, grateful that the earth wasn't too hard.

The rest pitched in, taking turns, and the tunnel grew larger. Even the middle-aged man and his companion picked up sharp rocks to help. After about fifteen minutes, a passage large enough for a person to crawl through was ford. Mountain Eagle scrambled through first, prompting Luo Zheng to urgently remind him, "Watch your step, be careful of land mines."

"Understood," replied Mountain Eagle, and he started to crawl forward. Then, in the bright light of a flash, he carefully searched the ground. The smooth surface made it easy for the group to spot any land mines. Luo Zheng and the others followed suit, crawling through one by one. Seeing the middle-aged n starting to crawl in, Luo Zheng hurried to stop them but unfortunately, the language barrier made it a struggle with no one understanding each other, leading to a tense situation.

Ghost Hand stepped in to ease the tension, "Let's just let them co. They must avenge their own deep-seated grudges. We'll just keep an eye on them. Pair them up one-on-one; it's better that way in case anyone gets separated."

"Okay." Luo Zheng reluctantly agreed, pointed at the middle-aged man, and signaled him to follow. Not sure if the man had understood, Luo Zheng crawled forward along the route Mountain Eagle had taken. Seeing the middle-aged man mimic his actions, he let out a sigh of relief. Although these people had less exposure to civilization, their alertness to danger was extrely high, and they were familiar with the forest. It was good to have them follow.

After crawling forward a few ters, Mountain Eagle stopped and said he had found a land mine, signaling everyone to wait. Luo Zheng quickly asked, "What kind of mine is it? Can we disarm it?" Turning his head, he saw the middle-aged man still crawling forward and hurriedly stepped on his shoulder, shaking his head. Seeing the man nod in understanding and stopping, Luo Zheng finally breathed a sigh of relief. Without formal training and lacking in tacit understanding, it was good enough that they followed orders.

"Anti-infantry mine, no big deal," Mountain Eagle replied as he carefully cleared the soil around the mine, revealing it. He carefully destroyed the mine's detonation chanism and then breathed a sigh of relief, signaling everyone to continue forward, as he resud crawling.

Perhaps because of the thunderstorm that night, there was no one out on patrol. The rain poured down furiously, visibility was very low. Everyone proceeded carefully, using the lightning for illumination. Each flash of lightning lasted only a few seconds, and within these few seconds, Mountain Eagle had to rember the terrain as far ahead as possible, ensuring there were no mines. It was a very energy-draining task.

After about ten minutes, Mountain Eagle didn't dare to persist, lest he endanger everyone. Shaking his dizzy head, he signaled for soone behind him to co forward. Luo Zheng quickly crawled up to replace Mountain Eagle and continued forward. After a while, he found another land mine; its trigger chanism was visible on the surface, especially conspicuous under the lightning.

When Luo Zheng was with the Special Warfare Team in the military area, he had learned demolition and mine clearance from Captain Li, nicknad "Thunder King." He managed to dispose of the mine quickly and led everyone to continue crawling forward. In the thunderstorm night, the team stretched out long, like wild wolves nearing their prey, cold, silent, yet carrying a fierce killing intent that, once unleashed, would tear heaven and earth asunder.

Half an hour later, everyone safely arrived at the periter wall. The wall was three ters high, but it wasn't a challenge for them. Snow Leopard, with his back against the wall, interlocked his hands at waist level; Luo Zheng took a running start, stepped on Snow Leopard's hands, and was boosted up by Snow Leopard's forceful launch. Luo Zheng soared up, grabbed onto the wall, and surveyed the surroundings with a stern gaze. Below the wall was an open space with even ground, dim lights inside buildings, and vague figures that seed to be standing guard.

On such a dreadful thunderstorm night, flashlights could conduct electricity and attract lightning, and in the dark, no one dared to travel. Had it not been for the help of local natives and their familiarity with the terrain, plus the lightning illuminating their direction, Luo Zheng and the others wouldn't have been able to reach this place.

The sentry was careless, having relaxed his vigilance. That was a good thing. Luo Zheng was thrilled, flipped over the wall, and landed quietly, creeping forward with caution. His movents were nimble and swift, like a ghost in the night, he made it to a wall, where he crouched down and looked back to see the team following silently, masked by the noise of the pouring rain.

Once everyone was over, they all leaned against the wall and looked at Luo Zheng. Luo Zheng surveyed the surroundings; the rooms were scattered, so standing alone, so connected to each other, forming narrow alleys between them. The spaces beneath the houses were made of soil, stones, and sticks, resembling fences, with dim lights inside. How to attack?
