The pursuers did not know that Lan Xue had split her forces, and the tour group had gone in the opposite direction. Having finally caught a big fish, they naturally would not let it go. They excitedly chased after them, howling wildly. None paid attention to the traces on the ground, which would have undoubtedly revealed the anomaly. During the chase, this group kept firing their guns like hungry wolves.

When Lan Xue and Ghost Hand saw a large number of enemies pursuing them, they actually breathed a sigh of relief and increased their running speed. As long as they could draw these people away, the tour group would be safe. In the canyon, the speed of their running ant that they were not afraid of the pursuers behind them. Freed from the burden of the tour group, the two of them ran even faster, making it impossible for their pursuers to catch up.

Then, what Lan Xue and Ghost Hand did not expect was that there was a team hanging behind the pursuers. When they reached the previous battlefield and saw no sign of pursuit, they ran in the opposite direction and soon discovered the traces left on the ground. This team, about thirty-strong, was not slow in their pursuit.

Before long, this team caught sight of the tour group evacuating ahead, descending a hillside, and their spirits soared. Howling, they rushed over. Snow Leopard and Mountain Eagle, responsible for the escort, paled and signaled everyone not to panic but to hasten the evacuation. The two exchanged a look, faces resolute, and charged forward to counter-attack, hoping their lives would buy ti for everyone else's withdrawal.

As for after death, the two had no other options but to do their best and leave the rest to fate. As qualified soldiers, they would not abandon the tour group to escape alone but chose to nobly sacrifice themselves. Though they would die, they did so without regrets. Soon, they saw the enemy catching up and quickly took cover to return fire.

"Bang, bang, bang!" Their gunfire rang out, picking off the enemies erging from the woods one by one, but their pursuers were not to be underestimated. They quickly spread out, fiercely suppressing them with gunfire, making it impossible for them to show their heads. The footsteps of their pursuers grew louder and closer.

With no escape, the two almost simultaneously drew their Tiger Teeth combat knives, exchanged a look, each seeing the determination in the other's eyes, and nodded silently. When the enemy charged at them, they roared like tigers and charged towards the enemy, opening the grueso close-combat fighting that followed.

Snow Leopard, after slicing open a soldier's jugular with his combat knife, kicked another sneaky attacker far away. Catching a glimpse from the corner of his eye of another enemy aiming at him, he rolled on the ground to dodge a potentially fatal bullet and used the montum to roll under an enemy's feet, slashing rcilessly with his Tiger Teeth knife and yanking it fiercely.

"Ah!" the soldier scread agonizingly.

Snow Leopard didn't pause; with several rolls, he dodged the subsequent spray of bullets. Springing up, he rushed towards another enemy, his Tiger Teeth knife stabbing swiftly into the man's neck. With a twist and a pull, he grabbed the enemy's collar to shield himself, just in ti to block the incoming bullets.

"Kill!" In that mont, Snow Leopard, like an enraged leopard, continuously swung his Tiger Teeth knife, swiftly cutting down one enemy after another. His eyes were cold like ice, his movents as fast as lightning. When it ca to close-quarters combat, these n were no match for the well-trained Snow Leopard; several were downed in the blink of an eye.

Mountain Eagle's killing thod was distinctly different from Snow Leopard's brutality. It had a certain elegance, like a great eagle—swift, fast, agile, as if reluctant to waste a bit of energy. With the Tiger Teeth knife in his hand, it seed to co alive, specifically targeting the vulnerable spots of enemies, striking and then quickly retreating, leaving the enemies clueless.

More enemies rushed up, and upon seeing this scene, upon the leader's shout, they stopped charging, aid their guns, and distanced themselves from Mountain Eagle. Mountain Eagle, with his keen senses, registered this painful reality. Had these people charged for close combat, Mountain Eagle would have been sowhat confident in delaying them. Now, it seed that as soon as they killed the few enemies in front of them, the pursuers on the other side would start shooting.

Snow Leopard also spotted this, but he was helpless. His face ashen, he roared as he charged towards an enemy, snatched the enemy's weapon, and plunged his Tiger Teeth dagger into the opponent's temple, burying it to the hilt. Snow Leopard, pulling out the Tiger Teeth, roared, "Quick, grab the guns, take cover."

"Got it, watch your back." Mountain Eagle saw soone trying to ambush Snow Leopard. With his face ashen and roaring furiously, he snatched a weapon from an enemy, using the enemy's body as a shield. He coldly watched the pursuers in the distance, his eyes blood red, his whole body ablaze with a fighting spirit, as if War God had descended.

"Roar!" Snow Leopard turned and saw the enemy trying to ambush him, roared loudly, and as he drew the Tiger Teeth dagger, he hurled it in a flash, hitting the enemy right between the eyebrows.

"Da-da-da!" Impatient in the distance, under the leader's strict order, disregarding the lives of the three surviving comrades, they angrily started firing, sweeping bullets. Having seen about a dozen of their n killed by the two, these pursuers were truly furious, each with a face tense and cold eyes filled with humiliation and rage.

Facing the firepower of about a dozen n, Mountain Eagle and Snow Leopard did not panic; instead, one dived forward, rolling on the ground, and quickly sought cover. However, the enemy's firepower was too fierce, and the surrounding terrain relatively open with few trees for cover, bullets chasing them in dense fire. They had no choice but to quickly maneuver and roll, dodging the sweeping bullets, constantly in grave danger, teetering on the brink of life and death.

At the critical mont, suddenly, gunfire also erupted from other parts of the forest. The incident was unexpected, and the shooting was extrely precise. In the blink of an eye, about a dozen pursuers were killed, all with headshots. Mountain Eagle and Snow Leopard crouched on the ground, surprised by this turn, looking at each other in shock. The recent gunfire was not insignificant, clearly indicating the presence of not just a few people, and definitely not Lan Xue and Ghost Hand coming to help.

Uncertain if they were friends or foes, the two stood up, only then noticing they had been shot in the legs. If it hadn't been for their Bullet-Resistant Vests protecting their vital upper body, they would have died. Both n sat down with a thud, exchanged a bitter look, gasping heavily and pulled out the first aid kit from their backpacks to bandage themselves.

Just then, several fully ard individuals appeared within everyone's sight, wearing familiar camouflage and gear but unfamiliar faces. However, their presence was comforting. Mountain Eagle chuckled bitterly and shouted, "I can't run anymore, if you're friendly, give us a sign; if you're foes, give us a quick end," his hand quietly gripping his gun tighter.

"Hahaha, you giving up, brother? What's there to fear, just pulling another along for the ride." Snow Leopard knew Mountain Eagle was deliberately confusing the newcors, as friend and foe were unclear, and should not be taken lightly. He laughed heartily too and watched the approaching individuals coldly, his hand slowly gripping his gun.

"Operation code gr131." A robust man signaled everyone to stop, stepped forward, and called out loudly, his eyes square, firmly locking onto Mountain Eagle and Snow Leopard, with no trace of complacency, his expression stern as frost, and continued to ask, "Identity?"
