"Boom!" A massive explosion resounded, instantly flipping over the wooden hut as flas soared into the sky. Luo Zheng could only feel an enormous blast wave washing over him like a tsunami. He hurriedly ducked and opened his mouth wide, feeling his clothes getting lifted and a scorching pain on his back, suspecting he was wounded. Shocked by the ferocity of the blast, he knew this was not the result of a re grenade.
Soon, Luo Zheng found the surroundings shrouded in dust with no sign of the original lighting. Overjoyed, he quickly got up and saw a massive fire rising from the wooden huts, with the pungent sll of diesel fuel filling the air, no wonder the explosion had been so intense—it was a diesel generator. Watching the raging fire, Luo Zheng grinned, quickly scrambled to his feet, and dashed forward.
The camp lights had all gone out, and the piercing sound of alarms set everyone into a panic. They hurriedly dressed and ran out of the wooden huts, only to find gunfire erupting in many places around them. It was pitch black and impossible to see anything, which only added to the chaos. They called to their fellow hut mates and rushed out toward the source of the gunfire.
The blind actions of the ard personnel resulted in even more disorder within the camp, but Luo Zheng paid no heed to this chaos. He charged towards Kuntai's residence, not sure which one it was, and saw a group of people pounce like tigers towards the fifth checkpoint. Others were firing furiously towards the front, and grenades were being hurled toward the area where Kuntai resided. Knowing Shi Qingshan had arrived with his n, Luo Zheng instantly felt invigorated and sped up to join the fray.
The fifth checkpoint was quickly cleared out by the group. Soone turned the machine gun around, aiming it at the area where Kuntai's place was located. Just as Kuntai's Guards rushed forward, Shi Qingshan imdiately ordered everyone to clear the line of fire. The person manning the machine gun unleashed a fierce barrage on the incoming Guards, the deadly bullets sending them flying backward.
"Grenades," Shi Qingshan roared.
"Whoosh whoosh whoosh!" Countless grenades were thrown towards Kuntai's residence, bursting into clusters of red flas, dismbering the wooden huts, and sending pieces flying. Nurous people rushed out from the huts, but they were swiftly brought down by the ferocious heavy machine guns. In the face of those heavy machine guns, Kuntai's close Guard stood no chance of fighting back.
Luo Zheng glanced around, the place had descended into complete chaos. Guns were firing everywhere, houses were ablaze, and so were shouting loudly, "The enemy is over there!" Luo Zheng laughed; each mber of the Special Forces excelled in sneak attacks. Without any lights, the enemy was in utter disarray. In such circumstances, their destructive power was undoubtedly on full display.
"Quick, charge over," Luo Zheng shouted as he joined the assault, partly to announce his identity to avoid friendly fire, and partly to issue an attack command to Shi Qingshan. The fierce heavy machine guns might indeed be too much for Kuntai's n, but they risked killing Kuntai, which wouldn't be beneficial. Wouldn't it be better to capture him alive for Pangolin?
"Heavy machine guns, defend the periter, hold them off. Everyone else, follow and charge," Shi Qingshan heard Luo Zheng's roar and knew he was fine, instantly overjoyed, he led his n with howls, charging forward and accurately taking down any enemy that appeared before them. Even though they were not used to the AK47 rifles, the short-range combat didn't affect their fighting capabilities.
Luo Zheng rapidly made his way forward, kicking open one of the wooden huts. A quick glance inside revealed bunk beds—a luxury that clearly wasn't for Kuntai. He fired a burst of bullets inside, then turned to kick down another door, but suddenly spotted a group of people shielding soone as they retreated hastily. Surprised and then elated, he called out, "The bald guy is Kuntai. Charge with and take him down!"
"Kill!" Upon hearing we had found Kuntai, and that he was bald, everyone was suddenly elated. They all looked over, spotting the bald head easily visible in the moonlight, and let out roars of fury. They viciously charged forward, paying no mind to the enemy's retaliatory bullets, determined to triumph in this encounter—on a narrow path, the brave erge victorious.
"Dadada!" Luo Zheng opened fire violently at the people around Kuntai, his precise shooting instantly bringing down a swath of them. Shi Qingshan and his n charged over as well, everyone aiming at the frantically retreating enemy and opening fire, fiercely attacking and advancing as if they were sharks that had slled blood, eyes reddened, full of fighting spirit.
"Kuntai, your life ends here." Luo Zheng switched to English and bellowed, charging with his gun as if he personified the god of death, his weapon continuously spitting out angry bullets—each report claiming a vile life. He swiftly caught up with Kuntai.
By then, there were hardly any people left around Kuntai. Luo Zheng hurled his emptied AK47 at an ard mber and, seizing the mont, drew his katana. With a roar, his killing intent exploded like a keg of gunpowder; with a forceful stamp of his foot, he leaped high, swinging the katana forward.
"Pfft!" The head of an ard mber was savagely lopped off by Luo Zheng's blade, a great gush of blood spurting from his chest. Kuntai and the others were taken aback by Luo Zheng's ferocious fighting style. In that mont, Luo Zheng's blade swept through the Void, drawing a deadly arc, and the sharp edge sent another ard mber's head flying, blood shooting up high as from a burst fire hydrant.
"Ah?" Soone, terrified by Luo Zheng's brutal thod, turned and fled. That's when Shi Qingshan and his n rushed up. Close combat was not fit for guns, and inspired by Luo Zheng, they all threw their AK47s at others, drew their military daggers, and ferociously pounced like starving wolves, taking the target down to the ground.
Luo Zheng's icy gaze instantly locked onto the retreating Kuntai. Kuntai found himself without anyone by his side, but true to his reputation as a fierce persona, he wasn't too flustered. He drew his sidearm and prepared to fire at Luo Zheng, who suddenly crouched and darted forward, dodging Kuntai's shots and, with explosive force, tackled Kuntai, sending him flying.
Landing on the ground, Kuntai got up and faced Luo Zheng, raising his handgun. "Dada," suddenly two sharp gunshots rang out, knocking Kuntai's handgun away. Almost at the sa ti, Luo Zheng pushed off the ground with force, charged at Kuntai like a cannonball, leaped high, weirdly twisting mid-air, and slamd his knee down hard onto Kuntai's chest.
Kuntai's palm was struck by the bullet, the pain causing it to twitch uncontrollably. He hadn't seen Luo Zheng's fierce attack coming—it was too fast. By the ti he realized it, Luo Zheng's knee had brutally struck his chest. Despite Kuntai's strong physique and well-developed muscles, the sound of cracking bones echoed from his chest. How trendous was the force of Luo Zheng's strike fueled by hatred?
"Ahh—!" Kuntai scread as his broken ribs pierced his organs, the overwhelming pain flooding his mind. Everything spun around him, and his consciousness began to scatter. Biting down hard to endure, he stared coldly at Luo Zheng, his complexion as pale as paper.
Seeing that Kuntai had withstood his full-force hit without passing out, Luo Zheng couldn't help but acknowledge him as a tough man. His tiger-like eyes shimred fiercely, his hand transford into a blade, and he delivered a swift karate chop to knock out Kuntai. Hoisting Kuntai over his shoulder, he ordered, "Quick, retreat."
