Around five o'clock in the afternoon the next day at the cruise ship port.

The remaining glow of the sunset gradually dispersed, turning the sky a dull gray. The port was unusually bustling with outgoing vacationers and those seeing them off—all sorts of people were present. The parking lot was packed with various vehicles; a black car pulled up, and out stepped a young man and woman. The man's masculine face was edged with danger, his short hair making him look spirited, while the woman's long hair flowed elegantly, her serene face carrying a hint of coldness, contrasting with the man's deanor. Both were dressed in matching casual couple attire.

The couple was none other than Luo Zheng and Lan Xue. In front of others, Lan Xue still maintained her icy beauty persona, sporting an unapproachable expression with tender smiles reserved solely for Luo Zheng. Lan Xue's arm was looped through Luo Zheng's, the two snuggling close to each other. Although they were sneaking away for a secret honeymoon with no formal commitnt, Lan Xue still treated this vacation as a honeymoon. As a military officer, she did not know when she might die, treasuring every day, every mont spent with Luo Zheng.

Luo Zheng was no different, using the honeymoon as a way to divert the Reincarnation Killers and ensure his family's safety. At the sa ti, he could enjoy a private world with just the two of them. As for life and death, being a true warrior, Luo Zheng did not give it much thought. Killing Reincarnation Killers or being killed by Reincarnation Killers, it was better to let nature take its course without forcing the issue.

After boarding the cruise ship with their tickets, Luo Zheng observed the surrounding tourists for a while. The n were dressed to the nines, exuding the aura of successful individuals, while the won were decked out in splendor, vying for attention, showcasing their most beautiful selves. So security personnel were also mixed in, vigilantly scanning the area.

Luo Zheng and Lan Xue strolled around for a while and spotted Ghost Hand, Mountain Eagle, and Snow Leopard blending in with the crowd, perfectly imitating other tourists. Ghost Hand, in particular, worthy of his reputation as the forr dandy of Beijing, was engaged in a heated conversation with a beautiful woman. Such matters of concealing one's identity were not Lan Xue's concern, but she saw no suspicious individuals.

The cruise vacation was seven days long, and it was unlikely that the assassins would reveal themselves imdiately. They were probably hiding sowhere inconspicuous, observing. Luo Zheng and Lan Xue continued to familiarize themselves with the layout. The yacht had five levels: the top level featured a golf putting green, swimming pool, running track, and open-air bar. The fourth level had the restaurant, the third and second levels were guest rooms, the first level was a casino, and the bottom deck was for crew accommodations and storage.

The second level was for first-class cabins, complete with beds, bathrooms, TVs, computers, and other anities—clean and well-equipped like a star-rated hotel. After checking out the room, Luo Zheng thought the yacht was quite acceptable. Seeing there was still ti before dinner, he and Lan Xue enjoyed the sea breeze on the deck, deliberately exposing themselves in public, whispering intimate conversations, yet his heart was tightly wound, remaining vigilantly aware of their surroundings.

After around fifteen minutes without detecting anything unusual, they checked the ti: seven in the evening, dinner ti in the restaurant. The couple made their way there, seeing many other couples along the way, playfully teasing each other, looking very happy. Lan Xue, feeling sowhat gloomy, clung tighter to Luo Zheng's hand. Other people had carefree, loving honeymoons, while her honeymoon, even if it was mostly pretend, still required her to be on guard against assassins. Sigh.

Luo Zheng seed to sense Lan Xue's low spirits and gently patted the arm she was holding, saying affectionately, "Let's treat this honeymoon as a dress rehearsal. We'll have a proper one when things calm down."

"Mm," Lan Xue replied, her gloominess swept away upon hearing this.

The cruise ship, considering the diverse dietary preferences of its guests, offered a buffet that included both Western and Chinese cuisines, as well as an array of wines and beverages; all self-serve. The two of them took so food, sat down, and began to eat slowly while keeping an eye on every person who ca in. To Luo Zheng's surprise, after waiting about an hour, they still had not seen any suspicious individuals, which piqued their curiosity.

"I had the travel agency book openly under my real na, and with the intelligence capabilities of the Reincarnation Killer Organization, they should definitely be able to grasp this situation in ti. The Reincarnation Killer Organization, ranked within the top eight in the world, has very formidable intelligence capabilities. Ghost Hand said they have several computer hacker experts. With hackers around, our vacation can't be kept a secret," Lan Xue whispered, her brows slightly furrowed as she pondered privately.

"Hmm, the killer probably won't strike easily without being familiar with the layout of the cruise," Luo Zheng said softly, pretending to look around casually, yet his heart was tightly wound, ready to act at any mont. This ti, having boarded the cruise as a regular person, he didn't carry any mission-specific weapons. But for Luo Zheng, it wasn't a stretch to say nearly anything could be a lethal weapon, especially in a restaurant, where finding sothing to use as a weapon was quite easy.

After eating and drinking their fill, the two of them got up to leave. Without drawing any attention, Luo Zheng slipped a dinner knife into his sleeve and, hand in hand with Lan Xue, they left. It was still early, and neither felt like sleeping, so they strolled around the ship, familiarizing themselves with the surroundings once more. With matters weighing on their minds, they lacked the mood to enjoy leisurely activities, and returned to their room to rest.

A few hours later, with no suspicious individuals in sight, drowsiness swept over them. Lan Xue got up and went to the next room. They were not married yet, and both maintained restraint, neither broaching any notion of impropriety, respecting each other.

After bathing, Luo Zheng lay on the bed in a daze, weighed down with thoughts, when suddenly his eyebrows twitched. A feeling of being watched by a venomous snake surged in his mind, and a profound sense of unease jolted Luo Zheng's eyes open, fully awakening him. All around was darkness, filled with the sound of water and the hum of the engines.

Luo Zheng remained calm and focused, attuning himself more acutely to his surroundings. Suddenly, he felt as if there was a venomous snake lurking in the dark, coldly observing him, ready to bare its fangs at any mont. Quickly, he got up from the bed, placed a pillow under the covers to mimic his sleeping figure, and deftly positioned himself in a corner near the window, dinner knife in hand.

He couldn't turn on the light, but thankfully, the hallway light filtered through the door cracks, providing just enough visibility to discern the objects in the room. Luo Zheng held his breath, on high alert, tensed and poised like a fierce beast, ready to pounce. Suddenly, a nearly imperceptible sound ca from outside the window.

Rustle, rustle—as if sothing was crawling. Luo Zheng tightened his grip on the dinner knife, prepared to strike.

Soon, Luo Zheng saw a golden venomous snake slowly slithering in, its body as thick as an egg, shimring with a golden light under the moon that made it seem extraordinarily eerie. The snake poked its head through the open window, its bloody forked tongue flicking in and out as it twisted its triangular head as if observing sothing with almost human-like behavior.

The appearance of a venomous snake on the cruise ship, actively attacking, left Luo Zheng with no doubt that an assassin was making a move. What baffled him was how the assassin had managed to bring a venomous snake aboard. He didn't have ti to ponder, as his cold gaze locked on the snake, ready to take action when he suddenly heard a faint sliding sound, as if there were soone else outside, which startled him greatly.
