Luo Zheng looked coldly at the fallen n on either side, dressed in black suits and with crew cuts, looking like bodyguards. He fixed his gaze on the young man, a cold light in his eyes, and charged forward with the speed of an arrow. His hands struck like lightning, seizing the young man's fingers and twisting them in the opposite direction.
"Ah?" Caught off guard, the young man cried out in agony and fell to his knees, clutching his fingers and staring at Luo Zheng in shock. His face turned deathly pale, and a look of resentnt filled his eyes.
"I hate it most when people point at . Rember, don't point at others unless you can back it up. I'm sparing your life—next ti if you dare to bother my sister, I'll cripple you," Luo Zheng said coldly.
Excited, the little sister rushed forward and kicked the fallen young man, saying hatefully, "See if you dare to bother again! Hmmph." She strutted proudly, linking arms with Luo Zheng as they walked away.
"Stop, or I'll shoot," a voice commanded.
"Shoot?" Luo Zheng stopped in surprise and looked back to see one of the downed n in black holding a gun. Luo Zheng's expression turned icy; a little scuffle was just a dispute, but with a gun involved, it was a different matter. He shielded his little sister behind him and stared coldly at the young man, demanding, "Kid, who are you?"
The young man struggled to stand and, ignoring Luo Zheng, shouted at the man with the gun, "Shoot! Cripple this bastard for , fast!" He had an imperious look about him.
The man with the gun showed a flicker of hesitation on his face, but it quickly hardened into determination. He shouted, "Kid, you think you can hit our young master and just walk away? Bla your own lack of foresight, and don't bla when you're in hell, for I am only following orders." As he was about to pull the trigger, he suddenly felt a blur before his eyes and lost sight of the target's shadow.
Imdiately after, he felt his hand empty; the gun had disappeared. When he looked again, he saw that the gun was now in the hands of the person he had been aiming at, and its chilling muzzle was pointed at the young man's temple. It was indeed his own gun, which left him greatly alard. Knowing he had encountered a master, his face grew somber, and he quietly pressed the call button in his pocket.
"Still want to shoot?" Luo Zheng said coldly, staring at the young man with a face full of murderous intent. Fuming with anger at the thought of such parasites bullying his little sister while he loyally served his country abroad, risking his life and shedding blood, Luo Zheng pressed the gun firmly against the other's temple, forcing him to turn his head aside.
The young man felt Luo Zheng's terrifying killing intent and had no doubt that he would be cruel. "The Song family?" Luo Zheng hadn't expected it to be them again, but on reflection, he smirked, raised his hand, and fired a shot. The bullet tore through Song Gu's thigh, completely shattering the bone, and blood gushed out.
"Ah—," Song Gu scread in agony, never expecting Luo Zheng to actually shoot, and without any warning at that. The intense pain surged through him, and his consciousness began to dissolve as he collapsed to the ground.
The sudden gunshot startled everyone around, causing them to scatter. Previously, people had so sympathy for Luo Zheng, but once the gunshot rang out, he instantly beca synonymous with a violent criminal. Everyone watched Luo Zheng in horror, afraid he might turn his rage on them next and give them a bullet as well. Many others took out their phones to call the police.
His little sister didn't understand why Luo Zheng had chosen to shoot and injure soone, but supposing he had his reasons, she didn't bla him. The two n stopped in panic, exchanging looks, before glaring coldly back at Luo Zheng. Then they turned to the unconscious Song Gu, uncertain of what to do. One of them shouted, "Kid, you've hurt soone and you're not running, that's brave of you. But, having offended the Song family, no one can protect you."
"Does that an I'm as good as dead?" Luo Zheng said with a cold laugh. Seeing the two n nod, he continued, "In that case, I might as well finish off this bastard. I'm going to die anyway, might as well take soone with ."
"Hold on a second." One of them, seeing Luo Zheng look like he was about to make a move, was scared out of his wits and hurriedly called out. If Song Gu died there, neither of them would be able to escape responsibility. Seeing that Luo Zheng had stopped, the other one called out urgently, still shaken, "Brother, we can talk this through. You can't kill him, think not only of yourself, but also of the little sister beside you, and your family, right?"
