"Whiz!" Luo Zheng fired, and the sniper bullet howled through the air, charged with Luo Zheng's full fury, like a fierce tiger pouncing on its prey. Claws unfurled in the Void, savagely striking the head of a soldier attempting to man the machine gun, instantly crushing his skull to pulp, splattering crimson and white matter explosively into the eerie silence.

"Kill!" Seeing the enemy's machine gun fall silent and hearing Luo Zheng's enraged roar, everyone's spirits were instantly boosted. Without hesitation, they burst out of cover, guns aid at the ard transport helicopter, rapidly pulling their triggers. Courage wins the day on narrow paths, and in this mont, they put everything on the line, disregarding the dangers of exposure.

"Whiz-whiz," two shots from sniper rifles rang out as Lan Xue and Mountain Eagle took advantage of this rare opportunity to open fire swiftly.

"Bang, bang, bang!" Ghost Hand and Snow Leopard also took rapid advantage of the ti Luo Zheng had bought with his life on the line.

Bullets whistled through the air, but unfortunately, the enemy was not simple either. After two were taken out by snipers, the pilot quickly tilted the nose upward and flew backward, causing all bullets to hit the helicopter's underbelly and get blocked by the thick armor. Ghost Hand and Snow Leopard knew their Type 95 assault rifles couldn't threaten the helicopter, but they could cause a disturbance. They continued firing, providing cover for their comrades.

This rare chance could an the difference between life and death, and everyone understood this all too well. Lan Xue and Mountain Eagle, taking advantage of the helicopter's move to shake off the attack, quickly swapped to armor-piercing bullets. This change took less than two seconds, but it was enough. After loading armor-piercing bullets, they rapidly moved behind a huge boulder for cover, as the repositioned helicopter was not to be trifled with, and continued exposure ant certain death.

Luo Zheng didn't change his bullets, continuing to suppress the people on the helicopter with firepower until his sniper rifle ran out of bullets. He then yelled, "Change the magazine!"

Upon hearing Luo Zheng's shout, and knowing that he was out of bullets, Lan Xue and Mountain Eagle quickly peeked out from their cover and aid. Lan Xue saw that from her position, the angle was good to hit the tail of the turning helicopter and didn't hesitate to open fire quickly.

"Whiz!" The sniper bullet, filled with Lan Xue's hopes and fury, roared through the air, forcefully striking the helicopter's tail, tearing through the surface steel plate and burrowing in. The bullet's head twisted irregularly upon impact, damaging the internal circuitry of the tail and sparking a plu of black smoke.

"Did it hit?" Lan Xue exclaid in surprise at this scene, her spirits greatly lifted. She swiftly moved the gun, finding another opponent who had just taken control of the machine gun and was preparing to fire had been hit. The bullet tore through his chest, spewing blood, splattering across the weapon.

Before Lan Xue could fire again, the ard transport helicopter suddenly turned tail and flew away backward, heading into the distance at a breakneck pace, retreating. After three consecutive deaths and a hit to the tail, the pilot realized the risk and did not dare linger. Everyone watched in astonishnt as the helicopter whizzed off, their faces filled with disbelief. It's running away?

A feeling of having narrowly escaped death surged through them, and everyone burst into surprised laughter, roaring out loud to vent the frustration and discomfort pent up in their hearts, their mood significantly improved and their emotions gradually stabilizing. Luo Zheng watched the hastily retreating ard helicopter with a surreal feeling. Is it really fleeing?

In fact, if the ard transport helicopter had stayed back and bombarded them with rockets, they would have had no chance of survival—a single pilot could have wiped them all out. It was unexpected that it would flee; it seed to have been scared off. Luo Zheng looked around at the surroundings; the boulders were riddled with holes, like honeycomb coal, all due to bullets, with many stones shattered. His face went pale as he was overco by a wave of relief and fear.

"Is everyone okay?" Lan Xue's voice ca through the headset.

Surviving such intense gunfire was nothing short of a miracle. Everyone smiled foolishly, although their bodies were hit by a number of ricocheting bullets, the pain was severe but not fatal. No one complained, just being alive was good enough, they rubbed the sore spots and all replied that they were fine.

Luo Zheng glanced at the sky. The unmanned reconnaissance drone was still there, which ant that their whereabouts were still exposed. After thinking for a mont, with a fierce look in his tiger eyes, he said coldly, "Quick, we must evacuate imdiately."

Everyone knew they were still on Arctic Bear's territory. Arctic Bear could send people over at any ti. Staying was waiting for death. Without ti to celebrate their narrow escape, everyone quickly packed up and continued the forced march, running forward while not forgetting to check their ammo and refill their empty magazines.

What puzzled everyone was that there was no pursuit even by midday. They could understand that ground troops were too far to catch up quickly, but why were there no ard helicopters? What about fighter jets? Any one of those would have been enough trouble for them all.

After marching forcefully, they were severely depleted physically and had to find a place to rest. Luo Zheng looked around; the mountains were continuous with no place to hide, and there was a mountain ahead that was the tallest around, but it was not conducive to concealnt. The reconnaissance drone was still flying above, and there was no escape from surveillance wherever they went.

Half an hour later, the group reached a mountain ridge with a wide view. Luo Zheng whispered, "Rest here, watch your cover, and don't move recklessly."

"Yes." Everyone quickly dispersed, each finding a place to hide, lying flat on the ground and covering themselves with their camouflage suits. The suits were made from digital fabric strips, full of various irregular pixel dots, suitable for both mountainous and jungle terrain, with a high camouflage effect, blending seamlessly with the surrounding environnt. Additionally, the thermals from the camouflage combat uniforms they wore underneath disrupted infrared imaging, making their concealnt very effective.

Indeed, as long as they lay still on the ground, it was extrely difficult for satellites or drones to find them. They all lay quietly without moving, eating dry rations. After about fifteen minutes, having eaten and drunk their fill, they all looked towards Luo Zheng.

Luo Zheng too had eaten so dry food and taken a few sips of water, feeling his throat moisten a bit. He spoke through his headset, "If we don't move, the enemy will have a hard ti discovering us. Any movent exposes us, and there's nothing we can do about it. There are simply too many satellites belonging to Arctic Bear Country. Just pulling over a couple of them, there's no ti delay. Does anyone have any suggestions?"

Both the Earth and satellites are in motion, and given the different positions, satellites can't monitor a single location for an extended period. They have to wait a while, with different waiting tis depending on the changing coordinates of the location being monitored on Earth. This variation in monitoring ti can range from a few minutes to several hours—this is the monitoring ti difference.

Everyone fell into deep thought. Without a ti difference to exploit, there was no way to avoid tracking except for quick evacuation. Lan Xue said coldly, "Let's evacuate first, we can plan further in the evening."

Satellite monitoring is less effective at night, and with the digital camouflage's ability to thwart infrared thermal imaging, there might be a chance to slip away. This realization brightened their prospects, and they all turned to Luo Zheng. He had also considered this but, seeing that everyone was in good condition, he didn't point it out, and the team continued marching.
