The blizzard swirled through the sky, the icy wind howled like the wailing of ghosts and the howling of wolves, striking fear into those who heard it. It seed as though the world was left with nothing but a sheet of pale white, with no sign of life in this extre ice and snow. Those with weak willpower would surely collapse. Luo Zheng and his team took shelter in a Snow Cave, burrowing into their sleeping bags. Though the biting cold was bearable with clenched teeth, at least it was much better than walking through the blizzard outside. Unable to sleep, they decided to chat to pass the ti.

An hour later, the blizzard showed no signs of stopping. Wind whistled at the entrance of the Snow Cave, like the malicious laugh of a demon. Fortunately, the upward passage blocked the wind from blowing in, but the sound was sharp and piercing, causing discomfort. After chatting for a while, everyone dozed off in a daze.

Ti passed, and Luo Zheng woke up, still hearing the cold wind howling outside, feeling extrely uncomfortable. He simply crawled out of his sleeping bag, moved around a bit, and picked up his Tiger Teeth military knife to practice the Invisible Blade Skill. The noise soon woke the others, and Lan Xue checked the ti. They had slept for five hours and felt hungry, so she signaled everyone to take out their rations and eat.

The team chatted leisurely in the Snow Cave, occasionally stretching their bodies to prevent freezing. About two hours later, the biting wind outside subsided. Luo Zheng climbed out to see that the wind had died down considerably, though the snow still fell gently, dancing with the wind under the heavy grey sky.

Luo Zheng retreated back into the Snow Cave and said to the group, "The blizzard is almost over. We must act quickly. Is everyone physically okay? Can you endure?"

"No problem," Ghost Hand and the others declared, patting their chests. The enemy could co at any ti, and they had to endure despite any issues, or they would face certain death.

"Ghost Hand, Snow Leopard, lay mines five ters around the Snow Cave. Last ti we laid mines inside, but this ti they'll be wise and won't co in so easily. Five ters is the distance they'll likely stop at. Use half of the mines, and move fast. The three of us will head up the mountain to dig a hiding cave, and we'll wait inside our sleeping bags for the right mont. Does anyone have an issue?" Luo Zheng's face was cold and resolute, his words filled with a murderous resolve.

"No problem," they all answered in unison, their morale boosted.

"Check your gear. We move in five minutes," Luo Zheng ordered. Everyone checked their equipnt, packed their bags, and distributed the captured weapons and ammunition. Five minutes later, they all erged from the Snow Cave, their icy faces set with determination as they looked at the still falling snowflakes.

Luo Zheng surveyed the surrounding terrain and pointed towards the slope, "Xue Er, you go up there. Mountain Eagle, to the left. I'll go to the right. We'll form a triangular crossfire position."

"Understood," Lan Xue and Mountain Eagle responded, dashing towards their respective positions. The snow was thick on the mountainside, nearly reaching their waists, making it extrely tough to walk, but they proceeded firmly and steadily, step by step.

"What about the two of us?" Ghost Hand asked.

"After you've laid the mines, head back the way we ca. Walk about two kiloters, which is within the range of our earpiece communication. Find sowhere to hide. If Snow Bear catches up, they'll definitely stop about one kiloter away and send soone to check. If a fight breaks out, wait for my command to attack from behind. The task is arduous and dangerous, so you must hide well. If you're discovered, we won't be able to assist you," Luo Zheng explained seriously.

"Got it. That's the fun part," Ghost Hand grinned, unconcerned.

After Snow Leopard also agreed, Luo Zheng quickly made his way to his predetermined location. After about fifteen minutes, he reached a slope and was about to dig a hiding cave on the leeward side when he suddenly felt it was inappropriate. The leeward side would surely be the focus of the enemy's search. Gritting his teeth, he decided to take a roundabout way to the windward side.

The location at the windy spot also provided a good view, though the wind was strong. Luo Zheng tossed his backpack and weapons on the snow, picked up the entrenching tool, and started digging rapidly. After about ten minutes, a simple hiding cave was ready. Luo Zheng quickly dragged his equipnt into the snow cave, moved around to warm up his body, and once he felt so of his body heat returning, he crawled into his sleeping bag, leaving only his head out. He then raised his binoculars and calmly observed any movent ahead through the entrance of the cave.

"Positions ready," Lan Xue and Mountain Eagle's voices successively ca through the earpiece.

"Mine laying complete, falling back," the voice of Ghost Hand also sounded in the earpiece.

"Go on, be careful, and find a discreet place to hide," Luo Zheng seriously instructed.

Ghost Hand acknowledged, and hurried back with Snow Leopard the way they ca. Luo Zheng anxiously looked up at the sky, wondering if their movents had been detected by satellite surveillance. They could only gamble on it now.

Waiting in the cold, icy world was an extrely painful thing. Ti slowly slipped by as everyone clenched their teeth and persisted, occasionally twisting their bodies to ensure that the blood could circulate properly. Half an hour passed, and there was no sign of pursuers; an hour went by, and still no trace of the enemy. Luo Zheng felt sowhat relieved that Ghost Hand and the others were also well hidden.

"Co on, you bastards," Luo Zheng said coldly, watching the area ahead, his thoughts darkening. His gaze beca as chilly as the surrounding icy mountains, and a rage began to burn within him. He had a feeling that the enemy was on their way, not far from him. He readied himself and spoke through the earpiece, "Brothers, be alert, I think the enemy should be coming up."

"Understood," everyone's voices sounded one after another through the earpiece. Nobody was asleep, nor had anyone been knocked out by the cold, which settled Luo Zheng's heart sowhat. He continued, "Pay attention, everyone, we'll decide how to fight based on the situation. We must hold firm. Do a final check on your weapons to ensure they are functioning properly."

"Yes," everyone responded and started checking their weapons. With the temperature so low, it was easy for the guns to malfunction, and such an accident absolutely could not occur.

"Target spotted," Ghost Hand's voice suddenly rang out in the earpiece.

Everyone's spirits were lifted, and Luo Zheng spoke in a low voice, "Ghost Hand, Snow Leopard, don't scope out the enemy's situation, lest we get exposed."

"Don't worry, we've got it under control," Ghost Hand replied.

Everyone tensely prepared for battle. Luo Zheng disassembled his sniper rifle, applied gun oil, reassembled it after making sure there were no problems, and set it up, ready for action. His blood ran hot inside him, his body tensed up, and his eyes, sharp as ever, watched the area ahead. Before long, several dark figures appeared in the binoculars. Luo Zheng quickly put down the binoculars and started to observe through the sniper scope.

There were quite a few approaching, their formation long and scattered. Though they appeared disorganized, they covered every angle defensively. Watching them, Luo Zheng's expression grew grave. In a low voice, he said, "They're here. Judging by their marching formation, they are combining relaxation with tension, and flexibility with rhythm. They're really impressive. Nobody fire, stay concealed."
