In the dark sewer pipe, several flashlight beams flickered as shadows bent forward and quickly advanced, the water at their feet splashing loudly. The leader, Mountain Eagle, a battlefield sniper with keen observation skills, was followed by Luo Zheng and others, everyone holding loaded pistols. Mountain Eagle had also equipped his sniper rifle, carrying it in his hands.
At junctions, they would stop briefly to identify the location and check for traces left on the ground. When encountering passages that no one could pass through, they would carefully glance to ensure no one was there before proceeding. The underground pipe signal was extrely weak, and they were completely unaware of the outside situation.
After running a certain distance, Mountain Eagle suddenly made a hand gesture, and the team quickly stopped, calmly looking ahead, listening intently. They faintly heard the sound of water splashing, as if soone was walking through, stirring the water below the pipe, and were imdiately filled with joy.

After walking for another stretch, faintly, two gunshots rang out, causing them all to stop and listen closely. Hearing nothing further, they were suddenly shocked. Without waiting for instruction from Luo Zheng, they instinctively quickened their pace. Ten minutes later, they saw an exit in the passage ahead, with sunlight pouring in. Inside lay three police officers, one stripped of his uniform and weapons gone. Among them, two were unconscious, and one was dead.
Luo Zheng continued to observe, and Hong ihua remarked beside him, "It's Charlie. From the scene, it appears that Charlie infiltrated stealthily, suddenly ambushed and knocked out two officers. The other one sensed the threat and fired, only to be shot down by Charlie and robbed of his gun. After shooting the policeman dead, Charlie fled. They probably didn't even have ti to send a warning signal."
"Mountain Eagle, stay behind to send a signal to Lan Xing informing him of the situation here, gather reinforcents to encircle, then catch up," Luo Zheng said coldly, dashing forward. Charlie took out three police officers, acquired weapons and gear, broke through the encirclent; pursuit must be hastened and a new encirclent ford.
Mountain Eagle agreed with a nod, climbing up through the exit. Hong ihua and Snow Leopard followed swiftly behind Luo Zheng, advancing rapidly. After informing Lan Xing of the situation, Mountain Eagle quickly returned to the underground pipe, catching up as closely as possible.
Five or six minutes later, dense gunfire erupted, as if there was a fierce exchange. They were quickly elated, hastening their steps towards the sound, soon seeing another passage entrance ahead. Sunlight stread in, and within lay five people, all dead from gunshots, with no ammunition left on their bodies.
Witnessing this, Luo Zheng was greatly shocked, his face turning icy cold. Casting a glance at Mountain Eagle, he continued madly chasing forward. Mountain Eagle understood and climbed up once again, reporting the situation to Lan Xing and returned to the underground pipe to continue the chase.
Soon after, the sound of gunfire arose again. Luo Zheng knew it had to be police blocking Charlie's path, choosing to fight desperately. With weapons, Charlie was like a crazed tiger, impossible to underestimate. Ordinary police were no match for Charlie, and Luo Zheng sped up coldly.
Soon, Luo Zheng discovered dead police officers laying in the pipe ahead, all sacrificed, their ammunition gone. The battle had just ended recently. Luo Zheng was sure Charlie was just ahead of him. The sight of each sacrificed officer enraged Charlie completely, unleashing more speed.
Hong ihua grimly followed from behind, surprisingly keeping pace. A few minutes later, the sound of gunfire rose again. Luo Zheng and others rushed forward, seeing soone firing ahead, shooting back while moving forward. The dual guns firing boldly, those trying to block ahead had hardly any chance against the precise barrage.
The narrow underground pipe offered no room for evasion; in such a confrontation, the brave win. Those trying to block ahead were swept aside with little resistance, and Luo Zheng and others happened upon this scene, furious, firing quickly, aiming directly, their sudden bullets surprising the opponent.
Under the flashlight beam, Luo Zheng discovered that the opponent nimbly ducked down, perfectly avoiding their shots. Then, he saw the opponent spring forward like an arrow off the bowstring, the speed astonishing, Luo Zheng coldly chased, continuously firing at the target.
During the shooting, Luo Zheng found the opponent shifted left and right, the technique elusive, agile like a cat, rendering aiming impossible, causing great awe. Silently acknowledging the opponent's skill, no wonder Shadow, who was the most likely to beco the Strongest Soldier King at National Blade, couldn't apprehend him. This speed, the bullet avoidance steps, was far beyond ordinary.
"I'm left, Hong ihua in the center, Snow Leopard on the right, bullets lined up. Mountain Eagle, you cover below." Luo Zheng conceived a plan, shouted loudly while firing and calling out.
"Understood." Everyone agreed in unison, no longer aiming, estimating positions and continuously firing. This tactic could seal all paths, no matter how the opponent dodged would likely collide with the gunfire.
Just as they prepared to execute this strategy, a sudden turn ahead increased Charlie's speed, disappearing from view, forcing them to cease fire, continuing the chase, ears alert, listening to the water trampled ahead, judging the opponent's distance and location.
"Ratatat!" Suddenly, dense gunfire rose from ahead.
Upon hearing it, Luo Zheng and others knew soone was blocking the way ahead. Feeling glad, they rushed, rounding a bend, saw in the junction soone exchanging fire, sparks flashing in the dark underground passage. Soone was charging bravely forward, Luo Zheng's flashlight beam seeking Charlie, filled with joy, opting for direct firing without hesitating.
"Bang bang bang!" Three bullets whizzed in a triangular formation, blocking Charlie's viable escape angles. Upon witnessing Charlie ducking again, dodge the ambush's bullets, using his hand to fiercely smack the ground. His body naturally launched up, akin to a cannonball rushing forward. The dual guns roared fiercely, heedlessly ignoring the blocking gunfire, fully displaying a desperate fighting style.
"Follow the earlier arrangent to fire." Luo Zheng shouted, pulling the trigger. Hong ihua, Snow Leopard, and Mountain Eagle rushed over and raised their guns, grim expressions facing forward.
Then, they discovered the gunfire blocking ahead abruptly ceased. Charlie charged ahead, grabbed a fallen policeman as a shield, compelling everyone to halt. Luo Zheng watched solemnly, noticing the opponent suddenly pushed aside the deceased policeman, turning to flee madly.
