The Void Bomb was so powerful that it captured the attention of everything in the area, including his divine beasts. This was the first ti they had seen sothing so powerful from their summoner.
Only Xolotl was smiling, as if he had been expecting it from the beginning. He muttered, "I have told you. Whoever taught you about elents has done a terrible job. And that selfishness was the reason he demanded that Nathan not play any part in his judgnt other than choosing the target.
It was sothing Nathan could accept. Hence, Nathan chose him as his next familiar. And it looked like his consideration had paid off.
The Void Bomb was crushing the elite class alien. Without dust, both Fenrir and Nathan could see what happened to the elite class alien.
Unfortunately, it looked like the elite class alien was able to endure even the Void Bomb.
Its body had deford slightly. The Void Bomb had even flattened a few sides, but the alien still survived.
"Even that is not enough?" Nathan was surprised. The bomb earlier contained 25% of his total ena.
The original concept wasn’t the one that sucked most of the ena. It was the space elent. To compress that void, he had to use a lot of ena, so the Void Bomb wasn’t sothing he could casually use.
Of course, that was only limited to his control. Once he got a hang of it and mastered the Void Bomb, the consumption would decrease significantly.
Still, this attack was sothing he poured everything he had into, yet it was still not enough. He couldn’t help but feel a bit disappointed.
"No, that’s enough," said Fenrir as he ran on the air, approaching the elite class alien before it could disappear.
If it was the octopus that got hit by the Void Bomb, it might still be powerful enough to fight Nathan, but this elite class alien was not suitable for combat. As a result, its defense was lacking, which was the reason it got this much damage in the first place.
And this damage was enough for Fenrir.
The elite class alien knew it couldn’t disappear before Fenrir reached him, so it used everything he had to regenerate and strengthen one arm and swung it at Fenrir.
Fenrir observed the attack carefully before tilting his body at the last mont so that the alien couldn’t change the trajectory.
With that much injury, its speed had slowed down, so Fenrir had no problem in avoiding it. Then, he bit the shoulder and tore it off.
Other aliens obviously wouldn’t let Fenrir kill the elite class alien, but thanks to the Void Bomb earlier, the blast was enough to keep other aliens at a certain distance.
His bagua simply appeared like a wall, blocking them from coming closer.
The elite class alien ran away since both of its arms had beco useless. Fenrir chased him off, but when he was about to bite the head, the alien spun its body and turned its foot into a blade.
Fenrir got slashed from the body to his face, but he managed to avoid the expansion that could cut him in two.
Once he reached close enough, he bit the entire head and used the Absolute Force inside his mouth to crush the alien’s head before tearing it apart. Then, he sliced the body to separate the core, thus killing the elite class alien.
"Huu..." Fenrir let out a sigh of relief. They finally killed this elite class alien.
"..." Nathan landed next to Fenrir before saying, "I guess that’s enough..."
"Yeah. I told you it was enough. What you are lacking right now is ena. That bomb earlier took 25% of your ena if I sensed it correctly, so 250,000 ena since you only have a million or so after summoning the new familiar.
"Even if you master it, a single Void Bomb might require 50,000 to 100,000 ena per attack. If you get more ena, like a few million, that bomb won’t beco a problem anymore.
"This ti, only Mae is left to unlock the next level of her divinity, so keep all the ena for yourself for now. We will have a lot of cores, including two elite class aliens from this."
"Yeah..." Nathan nodded in agreent. "But before that, we still have to kill the rest of the aliens first."
Fenrir was covered in blood, so his body might give up sooner or later. Nathan was a bit worried, but Fenrir actually grinned.
