Chapter 1287: Loki?

“Haa… Ha… This is harsh, even for .” Nathan panted heavily. He had been using the new techniques a lot to master his new power.

It definitely took a toll on his mind. Fortunately, they managed to take down the two elite class aliens as well as the rest of the lower-level aliens.

It took them a few hours, but they managed to handle the situation themselves. The one who contributed the most in that fight was undoubtedly Xolotl.

Without his help, Orochi and Kun wouldn’t be able to handle the elite class alien by themselves. And Xolotl’s lesson was practically sothing that Nathan needed the most.

Thanks to his existence, they managed to get stronger. Nathan’s decision in summoning him was actually better than his initial expectation.

“That’s because whoever teaches you is bad. If they taught you properly, you should have reached a much further level, Summoner.” Xolotl walked toward him while crossing his arms.

Nathan smiled wryly. “Unfortunately, there was no one teaching about the elents. My current teacher was developing my physique and my connection. I did learn elents from a couple of people, but that was it. I couldn’t really call them my ntors, let alone my teacher.”

“No wonder.” Xolotl looked at the other divine beasts. “And none of you teaches him anything?”

“I was the one teaching him about elents.” Mae raised her hand. “Qilin and Kun helped as well, but the rest… well, none of them have extensive knowledge about elents, especially the ones he has.”

Xolotl squinted his eyes. “You foxy definitely has so understanding, but your foundation is just an illusion. You may have so knowledge of all elents, but you are certainly not a master. The sa applies to that deer over there. As for that whale, he must be the one teaching this foundation. Am I right?”

None of them denied it. Xolotl had figured out the entire situation. It was no wonder Nathan was weak.

“From the looks of it, he doesn’t seem to be that weak, but that’s because of his wide vision as well as his trickery.

“The stronger you are, the more useless trickery becos. But that trickery reminds of one person.”

“Hmmm? One person?” Nathan raised his eyebrows, wondering if there was a god in his mythology that was famous for their trickery.

“I’m talking about soone who claid to be from Asgard. What did he call himself again? Loki?”

“Huh?” Nathan widened his eyes in shock. Even Fenrir and Nidhogg couldn’t believe what they had just heard.

They certainly knew the place and who that person was.

But Xolotl wasn’t supposed to be from the sa mythology, so how could he actually know him?

“It looks like none of you are aware of what happened.” Xolotl looked down, falling into deep thought.

“What do you an, ehm, Xolotl? I can call you by your na, right?”

“It doesn’t matter to how you want to call .” Xolotl nodded. “Before I say it to you, I need to confirm a few things. What do you know about Earth?”

“Earth’s mythologies might be real. And we have learned that Earth has been transported from this universe. It looks like the aliens know about your existence as well.”

Xolotl closed his eyes for a mont before asking his next question. “Do you know how powerful those extraterrestrial creatures are?”

“Pretty much.” Nathan nodded. “I have read their stories to a certain extent.”

It looked like Xolotl had made a decision. “I’m just going to tell you a part of it because of two reasons. First, I’m not the one witnessing or making that decision myself. Second, it’s because you should learn a bit about the truth.”

Nathan wanted to know everything, but he might be able to find out more later. And it wasn’t like he was in a rush. “I understand.”

“Since you are aware that the mythologies are real, it is easy. They are indeed real, but that doesn’t an much. Compared to what you are fighting right now, we are not enough. You are aware that our opponent is those aliens… and the one leading them is reality itself, right?”

“If you are talking about Azathoth, then yes.” Nathan nodded. “And Azathoth has been controlled by the singularity.”

“Which is why I have to say what you are doing is crazy. If you plan to fight reality itself, killing him is the sa as destroying this reality. In other words, you will cease to exist if you want to win. There is no victory, there is only mutual destruction.”

Nathan didn’t deny the possibility. He had already expected this from the beginning. “Cthulhu said they have a plan. So, I will only decide whether to proceed with their plan or not after knowing their plan. I, too, plan to enjoy my new life, so there’s no way I choose to die.

“In fact, we might be able to prolong their battle for, like… eternity. But that’s just spewing my bullshit because I still don’t know how or what I’m talking about. Either way, that’s the idea.”

It looked like Nathan had understood the aning, so Xolotl chose to reveal the knowledge to him.

“Back then, we already knew of their existence. They were powerful, but it wasn’t like we were lacking either.”

Nathan wanted to agree, but compared to Azathoth, they were certainly lacking. “But the conflict itself was not with the alien race, right?”

“Yes. But it was already too late. Earth once had realms beyond the planet because Earth itself was special.”

“Special?”

“I couldn’t tell you about it. What I can tell you about is that the realms might not be aware of each other, but they had no choice but to band together, or more like only those who were qualified knew each other.

“Because of that fight, Earth suffered a crushing defeat. Those who still remained convened a eting to decide what to do next. 20 representative gods had to co to an agreent back then, and that was when there was this weird guy, who was supposed to be unqualified but sohow joined that eting.”

Nathan couldn’t help but furrow his eyebrows. “Weird guy?”

“Yeah. He introduced himself as Loki.”

“!!!”
