Bella was already grinning from ear to ear, looking at Vivian, who had just co out of the bedroom.
Vivian couldn’t show her face, as she was too embarrassed to say it. "What?"
Bella pointed at herself. "Don’t you think you need to say sothing to ? I’m going to let you off with only two words."
Vivian froze for a few seconds.
Evelyn nodded in understanding. "Well, I don’t really care about thanks. This way, there’s no need to worry about seniority anymore."
"Are you still worried about that?" Bella chuckled. "Well, if we are going to marry Nathan, it leaves a bad taste in our mouths if we have to call our junior ’Mistress,’ I guess."
lissa laughed out loud while pointing at Vivian. "You criticized for sleeping with my student, but what the hell are you doing right now?"
"There is no more master and disciple." Vivian snorted.
"Why the hell are you talking back to ? You didn’t even say anything to them." lissa complained.
"Vivian is still Vivian. You just can’t let lissa take a jab at you." Bella clutched her stomach, having a hard ti holding back her laughter.
"Well, if I have to say those two words, I should say it to the person that helps the most." Vivian shook her head helplessly. She first walked toward Bella.
Bella had already puffed out her chest as if she was proud of her achievent, but Vivian simply passed Bella.
"Huh?" Bella turned around and saw Vivian already standing in front of Luna.
"Thank you."
"What?" Bella was stunned. Why would she thank Luna? What had Luna done to be thanked like that?
There were a lot of questions in her mind, but Vivian wasn’t the type of person who bluffed like this.
Luna nodded her head calmly. "You are now my sister. There is no need for thanks between family mbers."
Bella dropped her jaw. She never thought Luna really had any part in this matter.
Although she couldn’t figure out what she had done, it was clear Luna had been manipulating everything in the background.
"Have I been oblivious to this from the beginning?" Bella was bewildered.
Vivian thanked her for her words. Luna was the one that pushed her to go one step forward, while Bella and the others only planted doubt or teased her.
It was Luna who confronted her feelings for the first ti. Gaia simply added fuel to the fire.
So, if there was soone she should thank, it would be Luna.
"Well, let’s get along with each other."
"Yes." Vivian nodded.
"By the way, where is Husband?"
"He went out a few hours ago. It looks like he is doing sothing. I don’t know what that is, though," replied Evelyn.
"I guess this will be the last stretch before our confrontation with the Death Society. Shall we make our preparations as well?" Luna asked.
"Actually, he has told about a few arrangents. We can split up the work and take care of the rest so that he can focus on whatever he is planning. I’m sure that this will be important for the upcoming battle."
With Evelyn’s suggestion, the group couldn’t help but reach an agreent.
While they were preparing for the confrontation, Nathan focused on Xolotl’s crystal form, and, to his surprise, there was soone else that suggested such a thing.
"Allow to greet you again." Garuda politely lowered his head. "I am Garuda. Please give the opportunity to correct myself. I’d like to acknowledge you as my master. I will act as your mount and fight for you in any way I can. As long as your path is still the sa, I will bring you to your goal."
"Huh?" Nathan was dumbfounded. He didn’t expect that Garuda would voluntarily bring this up.
Nathan kept looking at Xolotl, wondering what he had said to Garuda for him to suddenly beco his mount.
Xolotl simply smiled as if he acknowledged the work he had done but didn’t want to tell him about it.
"..." Nathan smiled wryly, but this actually worked just fine. Since Garuda acknowledged him, he could use this opportunity to make his crystal form as well.
With the dicine, only doing it for Xolotl was a bit of a waste after all. So, the addition of Garuda worked well for him.
For the next two weeks, Nathan had one task in mind. He wanted to complete his second domain, believing that it would be necessary for the fight against the godfather.
In the anti, the group followed Nathan’s arrangent. The first thing they did was to send people to the surrounding city of the Death Society’s headquarters.
This way, the enemy would realize that they were planning to attack them soon.
It would put them on high alert. At the sa ti, it would keep them in one place, as they had grown a bit uneasy because there had been no attack for the last three and a half months.
With the anticipated war about to break out, the two emperors kept a close eye on the developnts.
It looked like the brib—transaction with the empire had gone smoothly. Thanks to the magic gun and the summoning circle offer, the empire gave full cooperation, allowing Regina to take charge of this matter.
In the anti, Ternius took charge of the force from the Dynasty, but Johnson remained as the figurehead so that they wouldn’t realize Ternius had made a coback.
Unfortunately, both sides couldn’t spare more people because the aliens had grown even more active, especially after the appearance of the alpha class alien.
They had no more leeway to pay attention to other matters. In fact, they secretly hoped Nathan could get rid of the Death Society with only this much support.
Finally, the promised ti had co. One day before the one-year ti they had stepped onto this land, Nathan instructed all of them to convene a eting with all leaders, specifically the crystal fusion stage summoners, to discuss the final assault.
